Its been years since Ive been to lake Waxahachie. Brought back some fond memories. I really enjoyed the lake. Its really changed since Ive been back. The last time I remembered was when I was a teenager I came here and that was in 1984.

We had a good time. Not packed at all. The best part no reservations needed.

We went at the end of the day and it was a good experience. There were not too many people and everyone was spread out from each other. All and all it was a good time.

I grew up fishing Waxahachie Lake, and have some very fond memories of my Dad & I fishing here. The City of Waxahachie has started revitalizing the 3 parks on the North Shore, which I am very excited to see happen. On the South Shore theyre 2 un-named parks, that are great places for spring time crappie and bass fishing from the bank. 1 park is located on the Old Howard Rd bed, near the spill way; and, 1 park is located at the mouth of South Prong Creek, just south of the pipeline. Enjoy!

Really nice lake, not too big and not too small. Many areas to park.

Really cleaned up since I was there a year ago. Nice parking, picnic areas and play areas with lots of each play. For once, CLEAN!!!!!
