Thanks Gear Up Sports for allowing me to be a part of this great coaching organization. I continue to learn and develop my coaching skills from some of the greatest in North Texas! We have the best players, families, and coaching team around. I couldnt be more proud to be a part of shaping and mentoring these boys day in and day out!

Gear up Sports Academy is the most unprofessional organization Ive ever come across that suppose to be family oriented. The owner Ron Santos has no respect for parents and for you as an individual. Ron kicked my son out of the program because I asked Ron to have understanding that my son had been sick for a week, and to have patience that he was being trained by one of his other staff members for two months and he could not change the technique in one session. He yelled at my son and told him to go home. Ron then asked how do I want my son to be trained? I never told Ron I need him to train a certain way. I asked Ron Santos for understanding of the situation being trained by another employee. Ron then goes to say he is being trained by the best NOW. Referring to himself that he was the best. So my question to Ron was the employee he had training my son was not the BEST. He never answered my question. I ended the conversation with you guys have a nice night. Jessica said good night, Ron did not respond. Thirty minutes later I returned home and Ron Santos suspended my son from the program until we have a conversation with myself and my husband. I did not respond to that. A minute later Ron Santos responded again with my son was out of the program at Gear up and to pay his guy that was training my son Jay. I responded that he needs to check his records because I paid up through December. He never responded. UNPROFESSIONAL. Jessica called me after the entire situation saying she was sorry for the way Ron handled this situation. She made excuses for Ron saying he had a lot of things going on. I had concerns and he kicked my son put of the program. Gear up is NOT the only program out there for training. Lol. Go back to school if that is the way you handle business, you need more lessons on etiquette. Text me NOW.

I can’t say enough about the phenomenal coaching staff and passion this organization has for their players and their development. I have watched my son flourish and become a competitive baseball player in the 9 months we’ve been with Gear Up Sports. He’s learned the fundamentals and strategics that recreational ball in Ellis country doesn’t have. More so, they teach character and having good sportsmanship; to always win and lose with class. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am, and how much I value the baseball player they are shaping my son into. Thank for Gear Up Sports!

If your player wants to advance to the next level, this is the place to do it. Ron Santos and his team are the best. My son cant wait to do it again.

I played for the high school baseball program and with the help of the coaching & recruiting staff I received multiple scholarship offers including a full ride to a 4-year university. I am now a baseball instructor & coach for the organization. Have many friends and relatives that play/train at the facility, and the kids that have gone through this organization have drastically improved and developed from the first day they have came in. Every year (literally) all of our seniors that have gone through the high school program with the dream to play at the next level have sign to colleges/universities! If you live in the south Dallas/ Ellis County area I highly recommend to bring your young athlete and train. Our coaching staff have the tools and experience to get your child to the next level!
