Cool place! Had a lot of fun and appreciated the info given by the employees that were useful tips/tricks. Plenty of lanes, definitely would be fun with groups.

I was able to go here for a business party and throw axes. The staff was very friendly and helpful for those who were not familiar with how to throw or play the different games.Even though you are throwing sharp axes at a target it is safe as long as you follow the guidelines and don’t “swing for the fence”. I would recommend this place for a small get together or for something to do if you just want to try something different....I know I want to setup some 2x4’s in the backyard!

Super fun. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They thoroughly wiped down tables between the last group and us. Definitely challenge the Axe Master - its free and fun!

First time ax throwing, lots of fun.

This was the best date night ever! This was our first experience at throwing axes and it wont be our last!! The staff was super awesome!! My husband even challenged the axe master and almost won!!! This place 10/10 recommend!

I was in Wisconsin Rapids visiting family. My nephew took me out to eat and we wound up at this place called Blades and Boards. You get to throw hatchets at targets. I had never been to one of these before and it was a lot if fun. They do sell alcohol there so make sure you are very careful and plan accordingly. You can reserve a time slot for an hour or more and have a group get together and they allow you to bring your own food if you like. There was 4 of us and we had fun throwing hatchets at a wood target. You need to give this place a try.

Nice place not so friendly staff, let one player play with sandles didnt say a word.

Great place to go for a date night, family event or with friends. You get a tutorial and then throw by the hour. Lots of fun. The staff is great. They also have a selection of beer, hard cider, soda and snacks.

Never thought throwing axes would be fun, but wow, it was! The ax masters were very helpful and I actually caught on quickly. Would definitely recommend this as a non-traditional activity.

Took the family there and it was amazing. Great time had by all. The staff is cheerful and very helpful showing different ways of throwing if one way didnt work and really help you get the movement so youre comfortable with it and its just a blast!

So fun! Nice staff! It was snowing really hard outside and when we left, they had even shoveled a path to and around our cars. We had a lot of fun!

It really is fun. Something for the younger crowd too. And they have soda and beer. I will be going again.

This is something everyone should try once. Its definitely not easy, but my wife and I had a lot of fun doing this as a date night. Staff beyond a quick instruction is pretty hands off which its kind of up to you how you feel about that.

Ton of fun. Just do it. You will have a great time. A tip. Call for reservations. Sometimes they are super busy.

BLADES AND BOARDS is the best place for a family friendly time in Wausau!

We came here for my daughters 15th birthday party with a van full of teenagers and everyone had an amazing time. We had know idea that throwing hatchets could be so enjoyable. Great place with a great atmosphere.

For all that have been to Blades & Boards, You know the Size of the Parking lot, now imagine turning a 80+ Passenger, 40+ ft. Bus around in this!!!
