Waukesha has been a great field for years. Jeremy has made it even better. Staff is always on the ball and the gear has worked great. Ever since Madison closed Waukesha has been a great replacement. I plan on visiting much more in the future.

UPDATE 7/10/20: Had a great time on a Dad and Daughter date on a Thursday evening. Very cool playing area with fun games/scenarios. Realistic weapons that worked very well. My previous review was critical of the unfriendliness of the field guides. Our visit on 7/9 was much better! Katie was extremely helpful and allowed us to enjoy the games even more; she even suggested a cool idea for a picture.

Great time! Staff was helpful! Owner was there making sure everything went smooth and everyone was having a good time. Great value. Great workout. Highly recommend booking a session with friends. We drove down from Madison and will return.

I always played at CMP or laser tag adventure, but once I went to ICombat, Those places did not compare. The staff here are friendly and extremely helpful. The equipment is state of the art. And the set up is amazing! The have several rooms, ladders and stairs to climb, and an amazing sound system. I also like that you get to create an account that keeps track of your scores and you get to level up! The check in process is quick and easy! Will, Dameion, Kate, Jake, Lieanna, and Alex are amazing! Check them out!

If youre looking for a fun time and arent afraid of a little sweat, youve got to check this place out. My husband and I have regularly played laser tag and it is an exhilarating experience that you can do with groups or even alone. One of their owners, Jeremy, was there when we played and its so amazing to see owners who are so involved and show they care. Highly recommend!

I took my son here because I got a deal on groupon. He ended up staying for another game because they had another really good deal going on. He had tons of fun and compared to other places its cheaper and just as good if not better.

Place is amazing and the staff is very friendly. As far as i know the managers are very kind to their staff and to their customers. Never had a set of bad gear here whenever i played. I love taking the long drives out here and playing with everyone. Very fun at this specific location and theres more game options here. Theres always something new here to experience.

Im on a business trip with my boss and coworkers. We stopped in for one session, and ended up staying all night. The staff was amazing, the field was awesome, the game modes were nice, the refs were active. And one of the owners sat down to talk to us for a while. If youve got a couple hours and a small amount of money, I suggest you check it out.

This game was not fun. I had a horrible experience here the staff was nice but the players ahem turtle088. People were camping by the respawn area. Lots of swearing, loud music, flashing lights. $5.00 for a water is ridiculous. I’m just being generous here I would give them 1/4 of a star if they would let me.

We went here for my sons 15th birthday on Saturday and had a blast! The new owner greeted us and made sure everything was perfect for our group. After our session he even took pictures of our group in the back of the truck in full gear and emailed them to us. Service was great, the game is super fun, and well definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Fun setup, but lost much of its appeal due to poor team balancing. We showed up for fun and got pitted against regulars who knew the course and were more interested in racking up points than having a balanced game. Didnt enjoy paying good money to add to someones kill total. Essentially prevented my nephew from being able to meaningfully participate in the game.

Dont get me wrong it was a fun experience messing around with my friends, but quite honestly its no fun when their team balancing resulted in my team getting destroyed over and over. If you like high paced competitive play then iCombat is right up your alley, but if you just wanna have fun? Good luck Charlie

So much fun!! We booked a private party of 10 adults with the party room for 60 minutes, after. Everything went smoothly and staff was courteous. Everyone had such a great time... we are already talking about the next outting there. Thanks, iCOMBAT.

Just went with my family for a birthday party. Exceeded my expectations. Staff was young but very helpful and informative . Games were a blast! Excellent workout. No problems with equipment. Other players were friendly, some were veterans of the facility and frequent users. Very great environment. We will definitely be returning.

Had one of the worst experience at this location. They never went rules in the beginning because all of that is boring and then the team leaders did nothing to call out cheating. They let the regulars do whatever they wanted. Also did nothing when one of the regulars nearly hit me in the face with a gun after full sprinting into snitch black room. They knew who it was before I gave any description and heard he was bragging about it after I left the session. Dont bother complaining to anyone official, theyll say they will look into but then never get back to you. Go elsewhere.To the owners responses. This happened Dec 30th 2019 during the 6pm open slot. Gilmore was the team lead who decided to skip the safety rules. If you have gone under new management and ownership in a little over a month Ill consider.

Really good place and really fun

Paid for 90 minutes. Got 60. Apparently the other 30 minutes we paid for went to the time of waiting in line for other people to sign waivers, and for waiting for everybody to have vests on. And just waiting for it to start. Period. Which is odd, we pay for 90 minutes of time at other places and actually do get 90, so I have no idea why I paid for 30 minutes of waiting.Also groups are not for different levels of experience or expertise. So if you’re brand new, don’t know the place at all, it doesn’t matter once you get shot and go to reset you’re just a sitting duck for snipers. On both teams. It was several newbies today just basically not getting out of the reset box. (Kids just turning 13 or people brand new to the place.). Even in the real world there’s some sort of combat training, have times for newbies to learn and have fun!Overall I don’t think it’s set up very well, give the resetters at least a running chance. Have a newbies group, different levels of players. And people should get what the advertising says. Advertise 90 minutes, then 90 minutes should be given. Nobody should have to pay any business for their own standing around and waiting time.

Fun place would highly recommend

Very fun. Just don’t like spending $30 and playing Judge Dredd and having to sit out once I get killed twice. I want to constantly be playing for that kind of money. Otherwise, it’s always a blast!

I have been to a couple of locations but this one is my favorite, the facility is clean, the field is fair and the best thing is the community of employees and the regulars. I recently moved to the area and from the first time I came to this location, the atmosphere was more of a welcoming family than a business. I was imediatly at ease. I have not met one bad employee and everyone along with the regulars are very welcoming and helpful to new players in sharing their skills. I have to shout out to the staff for being so Awesome, LeeAnn runs the place very well. Jared is a great person that cares for individuals, Damian is always willing to give advice, Kyle is very welcoming, Alex is a hard worker and Katey is upbeat. Now all of these employees are friendly and willing to help, but I see these are their individual best qualities. I really appreciate this location!

I’ve been a regular here for about 8 months. The employees and other regulars treat you like family when they get to know your face and name. Gameplay is very similar to Call of Duty missions. The guns they use look, feel and are used like an actual gun. Also, If you are looking for a place to get a good cardio workout and have fun doing it, look no further.

Good staff, games, and arena. The Zombies do a great job and keep it kinda creepy during the Zombie Hunt sessions. I highly recommend this place over other Laser Tag arenas.

Absolute blast, definitely a work out. High action fun

The games are fun, but we played as a foursome and an employee played, too. He was so far more experienced and better than us that it wasnt even fun to play. He switched teams halfway through just so one team didnt get continually slaughtered. 90 minute game was only 70 minutes from start to finish. Make sure to ask if there will be any employees playing with your group if you come, and if yes, dont bother coming to play.

Its been a few years since i played and what a great return trip to the action of icombat. Fun and exciting arena, realistic guns that you have to reload, and a fun and friendly staff. Who doesnt love a good tactical laser tag. We did it for a bachelor party and it was awesome. Great way to use a lot of energy.The staff also was super supportive and fun to be around.

Employees are nice and worked with us. But the event itself isnt fun. My experience was walk out. Get shot. Go back to spawn all within 15 seconds. The guns didnt work that well and the button mechanism to reload was atrocious. Everyone in our party agreed the reload was terrible. The arena looked fine. Overall wouldnt go back again.

One of my favorite times in my life, period! I wasnt even that great, but that was so much fun. Will go again hopefully. 100% reccomend to everyone!Edit: the photo was edited but was a photo I took when I was there (white wall backdrop), just the background was changed.

The time I went was good one thing that they could add is a map of all of your players on your team or something to notify you if you were going back to respawn and someone was coming out of respawn

I used to love this place, but ever since they downgraded all of their equipment this place loses its $30 value. not worth the money anymore. bring back the cool gun and cool vests

At the beginning of each round, a video is shown, defining the rules for playing. One of the rules is no taunting or fighting on the field. At the end of one of the matches within my session, I had another player put his face right up to mine and laugh aggressively as I had been the last kill. I found a field judge, reported the incident, (as the rules state in the video) was asked if I would recognize the player that had gotten in my face, and then, nothing was done. At all.At the end of the session, I spoke with another employee about the incident, was blown off, and was told by a third employee that I could solve this kind of stuff in the parking lot. I was actually encouraged to get in a fight in the parking lot by the staff. The staff that wouldnt enforce their own rules.Overall, the experience as a whole isnt terrible, the equipment is solid, with a variety of games to play. However, this place seems to be staffed by children, which resulted in me leaving angry, not satisfied.

Cool concept and the some of the staff is helpful but the female manager and the guy explaining it was VERY rude. Then the regulars were so loud that we cant hear the employee explain the game. Never coming back again. Waist of money unless its a small groupResponse to owner: Stern tact was before we even went into the area to play. The reason we had to step up and tell your regulars to shut their mouth was because your staff wouldnt and we couldnt hear the object of the game. Then your regulars started to antagonize and proceeded to grab one of our groups arm when he went to volunteer for a mission saying that his buddies already up there and you cant do it so the member of our group reminded him that its a very bad idea to assault a marine corps veteran. Your female manager literally ripped off the head band from one of our group and threw behind the counter when he was walking out to the the lobby because he was sick of the regulars.

Work outing and it was so much fun. Cant wait to go back. The staff made the experience all the better. Enthusiastic and energetic. Helped those of us who had no clue have a blast

Ive been here a couple times and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Having the real gear versus the plastic lasers is great. Also, the map is great with several places to hide. There are several different modes to the gameplay which helps keep it fresh.It can be a little difficult playing against the regulars that know what to expect, but it doesnt ruin the experience at all.

Signing in was a pain due to a problem with codes. They took care of the situation but for a first time visit that isn’t a good firsthand experience. Just was absolutely chaotic in the lobby with no kind of order.However, once we lined up and headed in it was awesome. I highly recommend this for everyone of all ages. I loved it. It was well organized & an absolute blast. Thanks Robbie for helping our group understand our mission & do a great job against high ranking regulars.This was a blast!

My usual game is the Milsim variety of Airsoft, yet there are times when one tires of weapon tweaking, prep and clean-up, devoting an entire day to the mission, and wearing 25-30 lbs. of gear and weaponry in Summers heat (and lets not forget the delights of steamy goggles). One yearns for a place to go with friends on a whim, and for a couple of hours engage in some good time, energizing CQB. ICombat offers such a diversion, with metal weaponry and well-conceived indoor fields, enthusiastic players, and accessible staff. Interestingly, detailed data on everyones historical performances is stored and easily accessible, and you can track progress, Call of Duty fashion. A great change of pace for all pew-pew fans.

This was my worst experience here. The game itself was fine, but me and a few of my friends reported one issue that ruined it all: our guns would constantly unload themselves because the clips were overused, broken and loose. This made everything terrible. I really hope that they fix this, that would make this a lot better.

It was a lot of fun. It went by way to fast. The down side was the equipment. Many of the guns failed. They were either too stiff in the clip or the clip would just fall out during play. This greatly diminished the quality of play.

I went there a week ago for the first time with a few of my Young Life students and we had a blast. The staff were all great, the game play was fun, and it was more of a workout than I expected. Will definitely go back!

Such a great time. Was here two weeks ago with a few friends and then again for a private party. I was never bored and we didnt stop moving hardly at all. Will definitely go back again. Cool concept for adults.

Great place to cut loose and have some fun

Everyone at Icombat was great they are super helpful. Jared was awesome up on ice and my team leader Sean was very informative on the games and John help give tips on how to play. Harrison was helpful get me signed in and leann was great at getting my reservations set up. I would highly recommend!

The guns feel real. It is a lot of fun and actually good exercise. Wear light clothing.

ICombat is a fun laser tag host. They focus more on the real aspect in the sense of the setting and weapons. Their arena is a bit tight for the usual group size (15v15), but not too bad. Just be careful coming around dark corners quickly.

I didn’t play because I went to the wrong location but the guys were very patient with me even though I was very short for other reasons. They were very kind and didn’t make me feel more stupid than I already did for going to the wrong location.

This is always a great time. Very fun and a good workout if you try hard enough. It can get very pricey thought. At 32 dollars per person, you may want to think twice about paying for a group!

Had my daughter 17th birthday here. Very fun on the battleground lots of running hiding and shooting. Burns a lot of fat but I will say the detail w the birthday host or lack there of was disturbing they didnt really help out at all. Which is why I gave them 3 stars they kinda acted as if we didnt deserve their time because we were there on a Groupon that was still 300 front desk girl causally said in front of guest well if its any consolation u have a 500 package but u only paid 300 while we were figuring out who would pay for someone who was unaccounted for. I thought it was rude and out of pocket. She shouldve stayed out of a family discussion so that turned me off but other that the place was awesome I just know never to have a party there.

Lots of fun kids enjoyed it only problem was I split my family up and didnt let us know until it was too late that was a crushing blow make sure you ask at the beginning if you want to stay together

People who go there 3 times a week know where to camp and makes it less fun for everyone else

Its the best lasertag location in town and it wont drain your wallet 30 bucks for a session (25-30mins) Intense playing and cardiovascular exercise. They team balance well and will change it up mid match if the game seems unfair or not fun for one side. Excellent staff who are informative and helpful.

Fun map and nice variation of games played (team death match, black hawk down, juggernaut, etc.) good quality equipment as well. Be ready for a workout though with all the moving youll be doing.

I live 4 hours away and found this when visiting friends. Yes it is was worth every minute in the car. The equipment was very realistic, and the staff member that lead my team was awesome! My wife enjoyed this as well. I would recommend to others.

Icombat give a realistic call of duty experience. Which allows a fun competitive atmosphere that is tracked on your account showing accuracy on shots and allowing you to earn achievement. I enjoy spending time with the amazing staff that keeps a up beat energy. The elite membership has saved me so much money about $250 a week. The elite membership make each season $20 a session and allowed me to play in the beta for FREE!

Awesome experience. It has the feel of Call of Duty, except its not a video game. Its a great workout, and the variety of games are entertaining. The staff are generally helpful, and it is the best laser tag experience Ive ever had. The only thing Id call out are the game modes involving backpacks. They typically are too short and the least fun of the game modes that you experience during most sessions.

Fun for most ages. Kids were there along with adults along with guys and gals each time.I usually end up staying for a session longer than planned. Its definately a good work out too. Lots of fun with friends or against them.

The laser tag was great fun. I was not impressed by the registration computers which seemed very buggy and poorly designed. But the games were exciting and a different experience than other science fiction styled laser tag places Ive been to. This place went for a more modern, present day atmosphere.

Very fun. I would recommend sighting the guns as Ive had a few that were obviously off. Great workout. Fun people to meet. My wife and daughter have more fun than I do which was not what I would have thought.

I threw my husbands 30th birthday here thinking that the boys would love it and the girls would tag along, but everyone loved it! The girls even planned to come back together without the guys! The staff was awesome and really helpful! Everything was really clean and the music was perfect for the games.

This was honestly a great experience. The map is large enough to fit about 16 people, and the map itself is challenging to control. As long as both sides are good sports and competitive, youre going to have tons of fun.

The staff was extremely rude didn’t give clear instructions. we went during the zombie event the zombies and staff workers ruined the experience. Especially the bigger guy with glasses and a beard.

Great experience!! This was the most realistic laser tag we have ever played. The staff was well trained and the equipment was so much better from whats on the market today.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good time either by yourself or with a group of friends.

This has been the best 2 months of my life! Icombat is amazing the staff and the facility is great. Ashley does a great job running the show! along with leann on front desk very personal. I highly Recommend coming here. They have a membership program that i joined to save money and be able to play more! The team leaders on the field have great energy. (Sean, Micheal, Alex) Lucas and Dylan are always great on ICE! Bring your work out clothes if you come, sweat is guaranteed :)

Profoundly cool facility for both fun and learning.

Brief summary:Broken Equipment, impolite counter managers who rip you off and some staff that ruin game experience for others.For a location owned and operated by the manufacturer its a great pity they cannot provide functioning equipment for all the players.In detail:Me and my cousin arrived and could immediately join a game. Everything great so far.After getting the equipment in our hands, my cousin put in his magazine which was blowing out air in all directions. The staff saw this, but did not do anything.Because of our working experience we knew that some parts inside the gun were broken.After asking to change the gun, we were told that they had no other ones.So they promote the recoil of their guns very well, but dont offer this experience to all the customers.One game later there were even other customers complaining of faulty equipment.I think one of them got his gun changed.After asking another one of the staff for changing my cousins gun, i was told that they are sorry that the gun is broken and she is sorry for that, but they will get new ones in about an month. For now there would be no chance to change.Actually some staff joined the teams and slaughtered the ones playing the first time. I cant see any reason why the had to do this. They were definitely no regulars due to their conversations with the other staff. So gaming experience wasnt the best even with my badly worn but working gun. What is too unfortunate because the arena itself has a great layout and is built very well!At the end of the session we wanted to get some refund for the not working recoil but the counter manager told us that the gun had a silencer!!! That was just insane.After we could convince her to talk to her colleague she came back and said it doesn’t matter if the recoil worked or not because the scoring of the gun was alright and we won’t get any refund.We asked to talk to a supervisor, but there was nobody available. So we got an email address for any complaints and were left alone.

Bach. Party here was amazing. The staff helped me to work out some great deals and the play experience was 5 star and were super cooperative. Real looking working weapons and vests. Smooth working systems that seemed to be pretty accurate. The standard 1 hour session was jam packed with missions. So fun even for a noob. Bring a water bottle though so you dont have to step out and forfeit a round at the drinking fountain. Finally, take some pictures. Its really pretty cool. Enjoy!

Was illy informed about the game being played at the time. Was bullied by a player on opposing team and fhe employees watched it happen and practically laughed in my face since they were friends with the guys. Will never return to this place due to the way I was talked down to and do not recommend to beginner level player or anyone who is just looking to have fun because you will be disappointed....

Just be aware that they will split you up from your family and not tell you

Took our deMolay youth group here during winter break. Some were members and some were friends/guests. Thought we had the attendees settled, ordered the tickets online, taking everything available. Last minute openings online and we had members wanting those too, so called and was able to add to the group ticket for the reduced group price. Thought everything was going perfectly until we arrived to find out with the changing around of reservations, we were one short. The manager and team found a way to make it all work out for our group. They went above and beyond to make sure our youth had a great time. Despite the slim timeframe between one group ending and another starting, and the clean down of the equipment needed in between, they also let us fill the lobby in front of the iCombat sign and take a picture with our gear still in place. Not the first time we have been there, but the biggest crowd we have taken there during an open hours time. Thank you iCombat for the make it work attitude and the overall great outcome!

Was going into this expecting a great time with my friends walked out disappointed and out of $30. The laser tag is good the staff is horrible expect for Alex and they have no respect for their costumers. We were treated like trash and didn’t get any respect. Do NOT waste your money here. It is also a very dangerous environment they do not enforce any rules what so ever opponents were full sprinting around and the staff didn’t give a damn. The main complaint was the staff up on the balcony mocking. They kept mocking the people on our team. It was a terrible first experience I don’t see my self going back unless there are some staff changes made.

I booked our 12 person group for a public 1:30 time, they made it very clear you need to arrive a half hour early for your session. Im not sure why, as we werent acknowledged by the staff until maybe 10 minutes to. Once we were ushered into the gear area they were shouting a quick rundown of how the gear works, then straight into round 1. None of our group had been there before and the directions were sparse. We were told more helpful information maybe after our halfway point. The referees loved being in our way and really looked like they wished they could be anywhere else - we wished that too. Our experience was considerably dampened by the staff.
