Very nice clays course!

Nice range and setup. Fun to shoot sport clays. Just had a few issues with the equipment, although they were fixed pretty quickly.

Course that doesnt disappoint. Challenging but not overwhelming to a first timer

Wern Valley has one of, if not the best sporting clay courses of all time. Cheap, open to public on Saturdays even during events, staff and customers are welcoming and friendly!

Sporting clays and a bar. I was remarkably surprised as to the friendliness of everyone here.Has wireless automatic clay launchers operated by a friend. These are arranged in a set of scenarios around the course.

Poor staff and COVID regulations. Will be reporting since no one is following mask mandate. Govener needs t follow up on business since they don’t follow orders or firearms mandate.

The catering service at this place is amazing. The setting is wonderful for gatherings of a small or medium sized groups. Just remember that this is a hunters based venue, and if your not a fan of taxidermy steer clear. The fire place was nice and windows through allow for a great view.

Shot at the Cancer Shoot 2019 and had a perfect day! Great course, great food and cold beer! We will be back!

We watched a tower shoot today. It was cool to see. Watching the dogs getting the downed birds and loving every second of it.

Course was great for there wern 200 but seemed like a lack of effort with targets for the southern 400 kinda disappointed since this is the course I couldnt wait for.

The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The hunt we had was thru a rolling field. Nice walking and a real nice place to work you dogs and have a lot of fun!!! The club house is a great place to relax after your hunt.

Ive hunted there since I was a kid, amazing place! The hunts are top notch, staff is friendly, and their property is gorgeous.

I went in to purchase 2 Fathers Day gift certificates and upon entry a man told me to come back when the girl who types them up would be there. Since it was during normal business hours, I stated that I didnt live near by and asked if anyone else could type them up. The man said to look up the # and call next time before coming. I reminded him that on the website it stated they were open, so I was confused as to why no one could help me. He said to come back later and gave me no specific time. I told him that since it was a present for Fathers Day and couldnt come back at his unspecified time, I would be looking else where. He said, Whatever and walked away.When I spoke to my mom later that day, she stated she had received the same treatment a few months ago and would NEVER give Wern Valley her $$ ever again. Im so happy that I didnt waste my $$ at this business. Its unfortunate since we have utilized Wern Valley for many years for birthday, Fathers Day, and Christmas gifts for all the hunters in our family.

As long as you dont live in one of the buildings as a resident youre fine because the apartments underneath have asbestos in them the management is okay the owners are in their own little world but it is a good place to Pheasant hunt

I drove three hours to participate in the sub guage class part of the Wern Valley 200Observations and notesLittle to no direction as a first time participant. Patrons appeared to have their little high school clicks with fancy foreign automobiles because they forgot they all started at the bottom of the food chain. We immediately felt unwelcomed.Fifteen minutes and Im already missing the friendliness of my small town local gun club. The eagerness and goal to become a competitive shooter forces me to explore the horizon of options.I expected to shoot on the regular sporting clays course, but thats when they directed me to a grass field across the street. Seemed odd at first and I was skeptical, but it was too early to judge.Staff was top notch and finally someone acknowledged my existence. This is worthy of five stars, but Ill maintain the low rating because of my overall experience.Grass field sporting clay course presented a nice challenge. I apparently wasnt moving fast enough on the last station for Mr. Vest-full-of-patches as he slammed his clipboard down in front of me. Many thanks for his rude and impatient behavior. It seemed to be the norm at this club.I finished the course in less than one hour expecting a long day at the event. Im use to spending two hours plus in the field for an event for one third of the money I spent to register.More information should have been provided during registration and yes, I asked alot of questions beforehand. Ill be hesitant to return only because I love shooting clays and the 5 stand event looked inviting. The friendliness and warm welcome of the participating patrons needs some serious improvement. Theres really NO reason to treat anyone this way because this is how shooting sports survive.

Nice workers, great booze selection, guided hunts or hunt alone, overall great place to hunt. Just make sure you call ahead.
