We had the best time! Our whole family went and will book again. We were a very short walk to the beach and had a great view.
Check-in was easy and we got homemade chocolate chip cookies! There are green carts near the parking lot that you can use to unload the car and take everything into the unit. The unit we rented was clean but showed some lack of maintenance (e.g., the sliding glass doors were very difficult to open). The kitchen was well-kitted out and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Beach access was close and made easy by paths and stairs. Watch for low tide and gather sand dollars - theyre everywhere! The store has basic grocery supplies, duraflames and cute clothing.

Great spot great location. a little dated but not going to complain considering that I have paid for it and I’m happy to stay at the beach. Cyprus Room 13 has a great view and great space for multiple friends and family. Highly recommended. This unit (as I’m sure others) had 3 total levels. Right off the door you had a master w/bathroom and another bedroom w/ bathroom in the hallway. Downstairs from walking in had the same. Upstairs from the entry was the living room and kitchen. The kitchen had a small balcony and the living room had the large wrap around balcony. I’m only missing The fifth star for being outdated.
Not as clean as it should have been. Windows had not been washed. Needs some TLC.

For the amount we spent ($800 per night) the least you expect is courtesy soap in the shower and detergent in the laundry room, never mind a single extra trash bag when the trash becomes full or any aluminum foil or napkins in the kitchen. This was bare boned, musty with dead spiders in the bathrooms and yellowed towels and sheets. We almost considered driving back the five hours to Los Angles. The “guest services” is a joke, where you have to walk to the main office to get an extra trash bag. The remote control never worked and a handy man was supposedly sent over twice and it was never fixed.Horrible experience, a complete rip off, and customer service non existent. They are taking advantage of people taking local trips because of COVID to hike up prices and make every last penny off of you.

Yes!!! Its a great place for a beach get away. We have stayed here now twice and it was a wonderful experience both times! The view is spectacular ( if you can get a beach view) and there are a few fire pits on the beach. You can also bring your own fire pit. We were here once for the 4th. We couldnt see any fireworks from the beach as I had hoped but plenty residents had fireworks on the beach. We had an amazing time!

This place is a really good place to stay if you like the central coast of California like I do. The beach is clean, the resort offers great rentals, and there are several more things to do nearby.

Pajaro Dunes Resort is a great place to spend time with family and friends. They offer a wide variety of beach front rentals at affordable prices with beautiful views of Monterey Bay.
There are basicly 3 layers deep of houses. The best beach access are the houses in the front row that are next to the stairs going down to the beach. There is no parking next to the houses. There are multiple parking lots with luggage carts. You may need to hike a few houses in order to get to your spot. Not a big deal but you may want to know before you book a place. The beach is nice and clean.
Beautiful setting with beautiful houses for rent. Those with a reservation stop at the gate house for a parking pass. Free carts are available for moving luggage in and out. Some houses are on the beach and others are a very short walk from the beach. Walking, jogging, wading, building sand castles, body surfing and kite flying are all good ideas.

Absolutely gorgeous here! The beach is a short walk, theres a lake with ducks, a path that looks like its got more trees... Its just stunning here. The staff is professional but easy going, its clean and theres parking. If you dont mind a scenic drive there are places to visit or you can just kick back and enjoy multiple environments right here!

We stayed at S160, It was a very cozy place, very quiet and the view to the beach is so romantic. I had a wonderful 10 year anniversary there. Im a mother of 4 boys and just trying to get a little time away. The owner gave us an extra day for free, so we stayed, and celebrated St. Patricks Day together there. We did everything they asked, plus more that wasnt needed. I left a note telling them how nice and cozy their house was, and thanking them...they want to charge 275.00, cause it smelt like pot. Really, any excuse...i will never rent this this place again.

This place is unbelievably beautiful! The beach goes for miles and the condos are really nice & cozy.
A great overall resort; beautiful beach houses right on the shore. The only drawbacks are that the furniture in our condo was outdated and broken. Two of the recliners did not properly recline, and the futon I slept on was sagging at the edges into an upside down V. I did not sleep well, and the others who slept in the actual beds had similar complaints. Basically the facilities and people were awesome, but the actual amenities inside (at least our unit) could really use an upgrade. For the price paid I would expect to at least be able to recline in a recliner. Also, the shower head is too big for the stall. Even when it is pointed as far down as it will go, it sprays at the wall at about a 45 degree angle. Meaning good luck trying to wash anything below the shoulders. Otherwise it was awesome and would recommend. If those two issues were to be resolved, I would have considered it literally perfect.

Magical place
We got married here, so it will always be a special place for me. The combination of locals and visitors makes for a relaxed atmosphere. While not pristine, the beach doesnt need to be. The views are beautiful and its clear that the owners strive to keep it so. We come back every few years to celebrate our anniversary and its hard to leave every time. Its close enough to town, exposes those who pay attention to the local migrant community and without hard core parties.
We are frequent visitors to Pajaro Dunes, and absolutely love this place. Temp could be 105 in Fresno, here it will be about 65
Amazing quiet ocean spot. We rented a condo shortly after Memorial weekend and it was really quiet with not a lot of people around. However, the water was cold, but nice to sit by the fire pit and just relax. Also, on the drive there stop by a little strawberry stand on Lee Rd by the gas station for the sweetest strawberries ever.
We stayed with friends in house 123. We had a great time, plenty of rooms for all of us and our kids. Nice and quiet place to enjoy the West coast sunsets! Private beach access was great too. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get away with family and friends.
Very nice condos, we stayed while attending The Concours DElegance. The condo was clean and in very nice condition, just as the pictures showed when I booked it through VRBO. Just steps to the ocean!!
Me and my family love staying at this resort. We try and stay at least once a year, for three to seven days. Private beach front and close to great restaurants. Rooms are fully furnished and kitchens also. Website is very helpful.

An amazing hidden beach between Santa Cruz and Monterey. Enjoy a beautiful landscape with amazing views of the Pacific ocean and wildlife. It is also a perfect spot to enjoy the most amazing sunsets.

Condos are nice. Little privacy - when on decks you can easily see into other units and they can see into yours. Dunes are tall so when on first level, you only see dunes...2nd floor minimum to see any bit of ocean. Most important..FEES...out stay of $250/night doubled to $500 with fees. Wont stay as guest again.

Beautiful views and ocean-front access. Even though you are in a condo setting, its fairly private and very relaxing. We have always rented beach houses, but this is the way to go. We are coming back.Donne careful to consider the level - level one will likely not have an ocean view but two and three will.

A beautiful place to stay, built directly on the sands. A view of sunset every night, commonly accompanied by the sight of dolphins and seals. Cold waters, warm sand and friendly faces every time i have visited. My family and i have been going every year since i was born, so over 19 years now. Its a second home to me. The service is polite and generous. Bon fires beneath the stars are my favorite things to do, with the hill hike coming in second. Would recommend for any family looking for a vacation of relaxation.

Calm and idyllic place for a restful visit. Very nice suites with close access to the beach. I very much enjoyed the stay. The WiFi is difficult to use, however.
What an enjoyable vacation! Only complaint was that we had to leave! After losing my Mom, I needed a breather to just recharge...the perfect place! We cant wait ro book again!
It would be a shorter list of the things that werent broken/didnt work when we got into our room. The amount of money you pay to stay here, things should be in better working condition. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the beach access. Thats huge when you have little kids. Oh and watch where you park. The sprinklers came on and covered our car with water spots that are now etched into the paint.

Very quiet and tranquil place. Not many people on the beach. The condos next ti beach are awesome. You get direct view of beach from living and bedroom.
It was a great and relaxing location. I must say, the people or tenants can and were nosey and seemed very snooty. They told the front desk false information that made us get charged an extra fee. We are a very clean family and when we left after three days and four nights, the unit was as clean, if not cleaner than when we arrived. Besides my nephew and my son spraying their cologne everyday, the unit smelled spotless. Maybe it was the BBQ from the neighboring tenant.????? Very dissapointed with extra fee charged to our family!!! Shame on you! We had planned on making this our yearly vacation spot, not so sure now.
