We went here two days ago for a late lunch/early dinner during happy hour and it was Fantastic!Our server was Mallory and she did a terrific job.I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and it was one of, it not the best, example of this meal I ever had. The portion was nice and the taste was great. I used the cheese sauce for my French fries (Mallorys great suggestion), which sure beats Ketch up (not that the Ketch up was bad)...My salad was perfect, including the blue cheese dressing.The wife enjoyed the Tutti Fruity Clucker Salad.We went both enjoyed our ice cold 25 ounce beers, which is one of the items I saw lots of people were having when we walked up to this place.Judging by the menu items I saw, I could eat here everyday for a week and not have the same thing twice as there are so many great options.If youre in Waterville or the surrounding area, this is THE place to go to...If this place were in Connecticut, I would go here all the time!

Honestly, hit or miss. Sometimes great food and sometimes not so much. Pretty good cocktails and I do like the live music.

Over the past month I have been in several times and no matter what I order from the menu the food is fresh, delicious and plentiful.

Consistently great food and friendly service. I’d give 5 stars but the “specials” menu never/rarely changes! Hippy Chicken, Mozzarella Sticks, Meatballs...like 3 yrs on the Specials Menu (not special even though they’re delish). Give me some real weekly specials. I’ll still be back though!

This place is AWESOME! The food is amazing cooked how asked for. Everything tastes as good as it looks. The drinks where also good. The staff is friendly.In conclusion; even with all this madness going on you can still go have a nice meal

Service was excellent every time we went, food was consistent, great selection of craft brews and a lively environment with live music on the weekends.

The pot pie and baked haddock were good. They offer outside and inside dining. Be aware that the sun can be in full force between 4pm to 7pm. Tables have umbrellas to help some for providing shade.

Only took 15 minutes to get service this time, apparently the waitress didnt get told were at the table. We ordered an appetizer that we never received. The meal was good but the service here needs major improvements!

Was travelling to Waterville to meet friends for lunch, found SST on the web after doing a search for gluten free menus. As we arrived we were greeted by a server Zack, and seated. My wife who gluten intolerant orders a Medeteranian salad. Zach offered to exchange pita bread with gluten free wrap toasted. When the meal arrived the salad container contained tabolli, my wife missed that in the description. I called Zack over an asked if it contained wheat, be left with the plate. My wife has been often left with no food as other in our party went on to eat. But not this time, Zack returned in a short time with a solution not an excuse or empty handed. He had a new salad minus the gluten containing ingredients. This was a first and thanks to Zack and the kitchen crew a bummer became a great lunch. Thanks to Zach at SST we will stop in whenever we pass though.

Will NEVER go back here! The staff and servers were beyond rude. I was screamed at from across the restaurant by their bar tender for standing up and talking to my group of people. We were not allowed to sit with our group, after calling ahead and asking specifically if we would be able to. After trying to just get on with our meal and asking for our check, we waited over 20 minutes to receive our check. I do NOT recommend..the food definitely wasnt worth the trouble.

The haddock sandwich was amazing and wife loved her lobster sandwich. The meatball appetizer was a mix bag. The bread is great the tomato cheese sause was ok the meatball themselves was disappointing. Good service definitely will eat here again.

Had a beer and French onion soup. I feel like you cant go wrong with French onion, but honestly I was a bit disappointed with SSTs. Needs more cheese for sure. Also would recommend sliced bread instead of croutons....like a sliced baguette. Service was good though. Jeremiah was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I went to Silver Street Tavern with a recommendation and high hopes but the only thing I got was disappointment. Our table setup was all confused with some having three knives and some having just forks. That part was minor but tolerant. When we got our food, however, my friends and I were disgusted. Some of my friends mentioned that they had avocado skin in their wraps and additionally some old avocado. I ordered the Bacon Burger and it made me sick; I was forced to stop eating and I had to rush to the bathroom to throw up. I do not understand if it was a particular incident, a rough night, or if this is simply a general pattern at this establishment, but based upon my experience, I do not recommend coming here at all. Admittedly, the waitresses were quite nice and we left a tip for her despite the subpar food.

Food was good. There were 3 other tables with diners and a couple people came in for takeout while we were there. Because of this expected service to be faster than it was. Our waiter was attentive and stopped by our table a couple times to say food would be out soon. It wasnt.

Great food, a great selection of on tap beers, and some original cocktails to choose from. Also the staff was great!

Great food and the staff was /is amazing. Spent a four hour lunch with a friend and everyone at Silver Street supported our need to eat, drink and talk. We were very conscious of table availability and asked if it was okay to remain and the staff were amazing . Definitely will be back and encourage everyone to support this fabulous establishment.

Silver Street has great service overall and the food is good. Takes awhile to get the food but worth it!

Update: I did not post on here to avoid any public issues. I spoke to the manager that was there that day and she addressed the issue immediately.

Havent been there for awhile. Still great food Great service from our waitress Jasmin.She did great job right on top of every thing in every way . Will go back sooner next time. Also great sounding band didnt get name but great sound & music.

SST does exceptional catering, food is fresh. The menu at the Tavern is varied enough that there is something for everyone! Live music & happy hours are lively! Excellent space with brick, exposed beams & hardwood floors

Went in with a party of 5. The waitress led us to a table for 4. Told her it wouldnt work for us. She left us standing in the middle of the restaurant for 10 minutes like a bunch of hobos. Meanwhile she was moving parties of 2 from tables for 6 while they were eating their meals. Ridiculous! Ended up walking out and dropped $400 at Josephs Steak House. It was great.

Never had fish tacos before, but left craving for more. Food is always amazing, love the bands at night, always adds another element to the evening.

The worst restaurant experience of my life. Drugged out people next to us at the bar and being able to see the cook wipe their nose on their shirt through the glass while cooking our food was enough to set me over the edge.

Food is great, like other-worldly. Yet, you should ensure you have 12 hours of free time first. The service here is of a comatose snail. Took 15 minutes to get our drinks, 20 minutes after that for the appetizer, and as of now still no entree after 1+ hour.

Now this was a great place. Our server was exceptional even when my husband asked for another beer because his was flat, she was concerned and took care of it. We had the Swiss mushroom burgers and they were cooked perfectly and the buns they use were awesome! What a meal! Kudos to the owner (Im assuming he was or the manager) who was there...very involved with everything and taking the time to ask us how we were doing and if everything was good! Will be back!

My uncle and I go out every Friday night and this is a place we frequent often. Food is always good and the waitstaff is always very friendly. We love it here

The food was not my favorite on my first trip, but my wife thought my chicken pot pie was tasty, while I thought her fries were addictive. I’d try again off the extensive menu. There was much more offered than what I saw when looking at the menu online. The servings were more than enough to fill you up for the night. The atmosphere is wonderful for a tavern, with outdoor seating, high seats near the windows, and regular tables in the middle. It seemed to attract all demographics. The food came out a bit slower then expected, but we were in no hurry. All the staff we saw were friendly with patrons. I’d go again and suggest it to others.

First time there on a busy Saturday and had a great experience. Waitresses were very attentive and each came over several times. Best nachos I have had since coming back to Maine and other dishes looked great. They also had quite a good beer list.
