The hotel rooms are nice and cheaply priced. Good variety of machines and games in the casino. Deducted one star for not having a working air conditioning system and windows that wont open.... room was a little stuffy and warm.

We stayed at the campground. It was super clean, mostly level concrete site. Quiet and well maintained. Great spot to stay as you travel through.

Staff was relatively helpful, the beds were comfortable, non smoking rooms but everywhere outside the rooms smells of smoke, room didn’t have microwave/coffee maker/or fridge, no air conditioning (and no ability to open the window), and no continental breakfast of any sort. I know COVID has had an impact on operations but there’s really not much to do other than gamble or be in your room. Felt like we paid a bit much for lacking services.

Had a wonderful experience here the room was only $40 so didnt expect much but was nice and spacious and very clean. Staff at both hotel and casino very pleasant. They check your temp. As soon as you walk in now due to covid but masks are not required as of now. The casino is smaller but has many of the newer games. Definitely will be back.

Was not very long. Was fun, I didnt win. My other half did as you can see by the pics. Like that you can free coffee and pop, not that I drink much more than water.

Came here for the food, saw the billboard on I-29 with the picture of an amazing looking burger. Not the burger I had something dry, welted lettuce etc. Stayed to gamble for just a little while, liked that staff was cleaning machines. Didnt like that masks werent required as well as smoking allowed not a fan. All casinos in Minnesota require masks and No smoking until covid-19 cases come way down saving my money for them.

It was fun!!! Not crowded at all! I really want to go back to go get a piece of that seafood buffet that they only have once a month. They need to have that every weekend!!!

Night shift opened my door an left it open all night!.My package mailed by wife was hand carried to the post office an returned. Said I wasn’t there! Stayed three weeks working in area. I checked out immediately. Incompetent doesn’t begin to cover it.Doesn’t deserve a star at all.

We were out for our Anniversary weekend...just wanted to spend some time having fun in casino and hopefully a good meal... security stopped us to take our Temps and have us mask up... my husband medically cannot wear a mask. He carries 2 letters from his Dr. Security read letters and allowed us in.We werent there 20 minutes and 1 suit and a different security came to escourt us out. We were not allowed ... or I should say my husband was not allowed . Even with the letters from a Dr. Discrimination towards someone with a health disability. So sad ...saw so many guests with the mask hanging off one ear or tucked under their chin... but my husband with the legal letters is asked to leave... pure Discrimination.

I dont want to give them an excellent review because then everyone will find out about this place.Friendly, competent, and accommodating staff from the front desk to the waiters in the restaurant. Beds are so comfortable you dont want to get out of them.Rooms are spacious and clean.

Only visited the Casino. All safety precautions in place. Temperature scanned. Clean. Machine Shields. A nice interlude from social isolation. Won some. Lost some.

Not a bad place to rest your head for the night or the week, also food is not bad at all, employees treat everyone good, plenty of slot machines and black Jack tables .....

Its better if I refrain from relieving my experience at this place. Lets just say, I canceled my reservation after I walked through the front door.

Its a smaller casino, but dont let that fool you there is a lot of entertainment to go around. Food is good and hospitality is even better.

Claim to have renovated their rooms, but worst Ive ever been in! Dead bugs near the bed and in the bathroom. Plus a fingernail right on the bed.They moved me to another room just to find hair in the tub, cobwebs on furniture.Absolutely disgusting place.I suggest instead of saving your money, get a room worth staying at no matter how much it is!!!

Rooms were so hot, 80 degrees, air-conditioning broke and was not notified at check-in. No compensation for it. No stars at all, making me give them a star to post!!!

Fun to gamble but sucks when i dont win but its still fun

Got the midweek special on a jacuzzi “suite”. Standard king room with a jacuzzi tub at best. One night stand, no desk, table or chair. Entertainment unit/dresser, bed and nightstand. Hell, the safe was propped on a plywood box. Lights above the tub were falling out of the ceiling, but at least they worked, compared to the hallway light (missing a shade and didn’t work)and the mirror light in the bathroom (1/4 working and dim). Soda machine takes $5bills for a soda, but gives no change. “Complimentary” coffee and juice machines in the lobby were not operable. Overall, completely unimpressed and will stay at a reputable hotel in town next time.

We were in town for a business meeting. The waitress was wonderful as we kept trickling in and ordering over a span of time. I wish I remembered her name. She was very personable

We stayed at the campground that is at the casino. The campground is small and quite with 14 roomy spots that have water and electricity. There is a dump station on your way out. And you can walk to the casino. The only thing I didnt care for is the fact that they allow smoking in the casino and I get asthma attacks from smoke, so was unable to stay.

Reasonably quiet (on a weekday stay), and clean accommodation. Beds do not live up to the standards of the rest of the place. I got in late and was tossing and turning feeling like I was rolling off the bed, and finally about 4:00am or so figured out to move to the other side of the bed and put my head where feet normally go. I then got a couple hours sleep. In the morning I could see a 2+ deep welt in the mattress. The mattresses in the whole place are apparently all less than a year old, how sad is that? I hope they were a really good deal... I am willing to try them again (through my employer), but I will be inspecting the mattress before I settle in and bring a camping pad to sleep on the floor as a backup plan. Really it was not that much more expensive to stay here than a campground anyway

Stayed in their RV park. Very nice and new. Only 14 spaces, but was all concrete and grass. Sites were very level. Water and electric at each site. Sewer dump on West side of casino. Only one other RV there the night we stayed.

I love this place. The guy in the gift shop was funny. Much nicer than the older lady that sometimes works there. She has terrible customer service skills. Probably just stick her in the back somewhere and let this guy run the show.

One waitress was very nice, the one that seated us, got our drinks but our waitress that took our order, not friendly at all! Never came back to check on us. Not many people in restaurant and it took 1hr for chicken Alfredo, a club sandwich w/tots & a hamburger steak w/hash browns. Had no selection for kids.

I am skeptical of any seafood buffet that is so far from a sea. The dsc proved me correct in my skepticism. Most side dishes were needing restocking at arrival and that status had not changed by the time we left. On a positive note the wait staff were great and attentive.

Decent-sized place with a good variety of slot machines. Wife and I won a couple hundred dollars! Would have given 5 stars but new member promo isnt great and buffet is only open nights and weekends (good burgers at the deli, though).

No heat in the room, breakfast buffet was a waist of money. Advertising $1.99, cost $4.99. Small cafe food was poor at best, ckicken noodle soup, should have been called noodle carrot soup. The room price changed when we walked in the door.

Found this place on our way home to Wisconsin coming from deadwood s.d. great room with comfy bed, clean, good food and drinks. Priced very reasonably for everything including the room. Friendly staff, not over crowded, lots to choose from in the casino. We will be coming back again for a nice little getaway during the week. I assume its much more crowded on the weekends and in the summer

We went for the Valentines supper. It was a disaster. An hour in line, when there wr only 20 people seated. All kinds of open tables. Another hour to get your food. Very disorganized.

The casino and hotel are great! The hotel rooms are luxurious, comfortable and clean. The staff is top notch, friendly and welcoming, eager to help my visit improve at every turn. The food options inside the casino is also fantastic. The bartenders are great as well. Highly recommend this place!

But the most amazing sweet souls Ive ever met! And EVERYONE behind the desk, especially the day manager. Are amazing as well! Wish I could remember everyones names. I give the Sioux 4 stars. They are the best casino out of all three that the SWO tribe owns. most of the staff are very friendly, and if gaming you have the best chance here at the Sioux.Very clean. Best promos. Bigger better fun!!!!!There is always room for improvement though.

I like the small laid back feel you get from the place. Slot machines are usually open, youre not waiting. Location is the only negative as its in the middle of nowhere.

A nice place to stay and play. A little of the beaten path but the bar and casino staff were excellent. Ive been here a couple of times and the food has been great at times but not so a couple of times, but overall was decent.

The desk clerk was rude. We had trouble with our reservation. They told us one thing on the phone and totally different upon arriving in person. I was tired from our long five hour drive and they couldnt accommodate us. Noone could resolve it so we left and wont be back.

I’ve been playing here for about 3-4 years now. The first year wasn’t bad I hit a few jackpots as would be expected for the large amounts I put in and since that first year I have not hit a single jackpot. It’s like I’m marked when I walk in the door I absolutely can NOT win and I spend a lot. I play at several different casinos and this one is by far the worst. Also Security staff is rude

The food the people and the relaxation in the hotel room was very comfortable

They hassled me on my birthday over the promotions clearly listed on their website. Tried blaming their new marketing company and mocked me for wanting the free play I came for. Manager told me “Everyone knows the only birthday promotion is on the kiosk” but their website clearly states otherwise. Not sure if they intentionally pick the least friendly people to work the customer service desk, but if so they are doing great. Don’t bother with this place.

Very Clean and courteous service by all the staff. Excellent private and tranquilly quiet rooms with an excellent view of the stars and celestial activities above and beyond Mother Earth. If your in the area, or passing through, I recommend you stop by at the Dakota Sioux Casino and Hotel an take a few hours, a day, week or week-end and kick-back, slam those “one arm bandits” and walk away with a-pay-day - and I’m not talking about chocolate bars! Plenty of parking for even a Boeing 747, if they laid down a runway! All trucks are welcomed, even the ones with the huge wind blades up and down the I-29 are welcomed! I had the daily special at the deli last night which was a Chinese dish. 3 hours later I was on the toilet with extreme abdominal pains and severe diarrhea. And I had to go back to the toilet again and again. 13 hours later and my stomach is still hurting. Sounds like food poisoning to me. Anybody else, on 10/30/2019?

We had a great time. Front desk, shuttle drivers & security were all very friendly and helpful. Food was good (deli) & drinks were cheap. A special shout out to Terry (shuttle driver) & Glen (security) as they went above and beyond helping with the great weekend experience.

They always do a good job with the food, drinks, and service. Its always clean, and well maintained. Its always a treat for my wife and I to go. The hotel rooms are roomy and clean. The beds are very comfy. You get free pop and coffee while gambling. They have a cool gift shop. You can smoke inside. They have great promotions, and players club.

Went to the Seafood buffet. Service was very poor, aparently you have to fill your own drinks. People were waiting for plates because they didn’t have enough plates. 45 minute wait. Crab legs were cold. For $25 per person, this is an insult. We will never go back here.

My friend is staying at this hotel right now and when they were ordering desert thru the glass case she asked for TIRAMISU, so the man behind the counter was like “ok we have that” and this man gave her CHEESECAKE, i repeat, C-H-E-E-S-E-C-A-K-E, how would you feel if you just payed for some nice cold T-I-R-A-M-I-S-U and when your mouth is watering and your so happy on your vacation and all you taste is GOD DAMN CHEESE and you were expecting CREAMY COFFEE. i rest my case

Staff is friendly. Temperature in the rooms stay very warm. Water is super slimy.
