I absolutely love this place, I was on a mission on getting my daughter a leopard gecko and in doing so, my first time entering the store and I was amazed at the wide variety of animals and products !! After searching pets store near the area I was confident in getting my daughter her pet and supplies here, I love how polite the owner is and the knowledge he has on everything I needed to know to properly care for our new pet. I will be a costumer here for a long time !!

Heard they had a good selection of leopard geckos and beardies as well as fish... and for the most part non of that disappointmented me. But I had also heard they got small animals in and they had very few of them, and outside of the geckos and beardies they didnt have any other reptiles in the store which sucked. **I have chosen to edit my rating and review because the owners reply actually gave me a chance to hear from them. Im keeping the forst part, but allowing them a better review for good customer serivce, they responded mentioning their current situation and I have decided Ill give them another chance (maybe one when the weather isnt as hot out)

Hi! So we found Aqua Plus after Covid-19 hit and they’ve been so amazing!!! The quality of their fish are just wonderful and we just adore the owner. They’re very knowledgeable and actually care about the fish instead of just wanting to make a sale. They won’t sell you fish that they don’t think will go well in your tank or that they don’t like the health/look of. They have alot of items, seem mostly towards reptiles, did have alot the cichlid family fish. Just a few tropical fish. Very clean, DIDNT SMELL.

I buy gallons of RO tank water for a few quarters. They sell saltwater too. I just bring my own jugs and they fill them. So cheap, and so convenient. The fish also are happier. They are so friendly, and display amazing customer service! If no one is being helped, and they see me coming in they are up and ready to take my jugs back to fill as soon as I step foot inside. Shop local. Love this place.

SHOP LOCAL! this place is GREAT! I stopped in a while back with my kids and the owner was so very helpful and knowledgeable! I purchased some angel fish and a bristlefish and received a demo about proper tank cleaning. This fish store is clearly the pride and joy of the owner and is treated as such! Definitely recommend taking the time to stop in and shop here!

Jim is the man! He knows his stuff, for sure. I can see why a previous reviewer said he wasnt very eager to help. I got this impression at first, too. But, it took no time at all to realize he is just serious about the animals and his craft. He is actually super cool and so very patient and helpful every step of the way. We will NEVER go to the big box stores again!!

I visit here often to buy crickets. Its always the same two guys working. They are. Other extremely helpful and knowledgable. They will actually take the time to answer your questions and not act like youre a bother. Ive bought several items for my geckos habitat here. The prices are great but the help they offer is so much better than the bigger stores. You can really tell they care about the business.

We started our hobby here. Jim helped us every step of the way and was always great to work with. He gave us the best advice for our aquariums, helped us when we had trouble, and even got us our strange exotic fish. He knows more about the hobby than anyone else we talked to and his advice was always beneficial. One of the only reasons we were sad to move away from the area! We miss him already!

This is the place Im always coming to get fish from now on. I have been screwed over by Petco to many times and the staff here actually know what they are talking about. The are friendly and have a wide selection of fresh and salt water fish. They might be a little more expensive but Id rather pay a little more and know that my fish wont die the next day. Highly recommend going here

I had a really great experience at this shop. I ended up purchasing three otocinclus at a very reasonable price to help control the algae in my tank. The gentleman working was very knowledgeable and gave me several tips on how to optimize my tank. His passion for animals was palpable and did not go unnoticed.

We have been coming here for about a month since being misguided by employees at Petco. The owner has been taking us every step of the way, extremely patient, and goes above and beyond to help us in any way he can. We were obviously unaware of everything that goes into being aquarium owners and he could have easily taken advantage and sold us a bunch of nonsense (like Petco did) but he didn’t. For as long as we live here, he will be our go-to when it comes to our pets. Highly recommend.

This is the best fish store I have ever been too. The owner (Jim) is very friendly and knowledgeable. Goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are buying the right fish for their needs. My son went in to buy a bunch of new fish for his new tank. Jim suggested not to buy all thise fish at ince and suggested to only sell a few fish to start. Any other store would have taken all his money, and if the fish died, then oh well. I dont care if I can find fish and plants cheaper, I know if we shop here, we will get honest knowledge to go along with it, and that is worth more than a few dollars. Thank you Jim.

Place sells almost any and everything needed for salt and fresh water aquariums, with a great variety of fish both salt and fresh. I enjoy the fact that none of his tanks are crowded. The guy who runs the place is knowledgeable. The also have what you need for feeder crickets and feeder mice. He even occasionally has small furries available. Be sure to check this place out before you head to any other place.Edit: 9/25/2017After going to this place for several months and getting several fish from the gentleman that owns it there are a few issues.1: A few of the guppies I got had Camallanus worms. (Look them up for more info)2: The fish I get from him die for no reason ( out of the 8 fish i have gotten from there on various occasions only 1 is still alive) I know this isnt me because the fish I get from Petco I never have any issue with.3: He has no return, warranty, or exchange policy like the Petco.I understand he is a small business but we who patronize this type of establishment are a small community and I would like to think we are honest, with his shop having no accountability it makes me want to take my business else where.P.s. No pee smell or gross smell when you walk in unlike other local pet stores.

Lots of healthy fish and products

I just got a hamster there yesterday and I brought it home and saw bite marks all over it he cant shut his mouth and there was at least 7 other full grown hamster in the 10 gallon tank with him they probably had to fight for food.
