Very nice park. Cute tricycle trail. Lots of shade by the playground areas. Not do much by the softball fields. Very clean and pretty nice consession stand. Trails look like they could be interesting but did not get to fully enjoy those.

Great open spaces along the Cedar River for frisbee golf. At one end is the Boat House which is available for rent for any occasion. Nice view of the river and has a bar and kitchen. Skate park basketball court playground and picnic shelters w/grills are at opposite end of the park in proximity to the Waterloo Bucks Stadium.

One of Waterloos oldest recreational parks and waterfront areas along the Ceder River in the North side of Waterloo. Home of the Waterloo Bucks a Northwoods Minor league team. Check their website for game times and schedule. Many playgrounds for kids. Basketball court. Public restrooms during season. A skate park for Bmx and Skateboarders. (In need of repair currently) A large and challenging Disk golf course.36 holes in all. ( I prefer playing the back 9) Many shore line fishing access areas, and a boat house marina, easy access for boats and parking. Little league available in the summertime. With multiple baseball and softball diamonds. Concession stand opened during Little league games. Has the Cedar Valley bike trail running through the entire length of the park connecting to downtown Waterloo. Picnic table shelters available.

This is where our children and our grandchildren play ball. Its being vandalized and littered, more often than not.... Please, if you see something that belongs in the trash bin, do your part in making this park nicer?

I am likely biased but Exchange park isnt what it was or could be. It used to be impressive but now it seems to be suffering from neglect. Understandably its likely a budget issue. However, parks being one of the last things you can still do without an additional fee (tax dollars should be enough) well come on. Have a bake sale or some other money raising event to bring back exchange park to its former Glory days.

Talk about a park that has been allowed to fall into disrepair. At one time you could visit Exchange Park & Robinson Crusoe knowing they met a certain standard of care. I mention both parks because they are merely a stones throw from one another & pretty much go hand in hand. Sadly, their fate seems intertwined as well. Up until about the mid 1970s both parks were well cared for. Then, I am not sure what happened whether it was budget cuts, laziness or complacency but the parks in Waterloo took a dark & dismal turn. They have yet to recover. They reflect a lack of imagination & a bare minimum of effort. Its embarrassing really.

The restrooms make me very uncomfortable. There are either no stall doors or if there was, the stall doors would be really high or would have huge cracks where you can see through.

Exchange park offers Mini fields to choose from all pristinely kept! They have concession stands, nice bathrooms and trash receptacles galore, with everything always picked up and ready for the next ball game! Along with the ballfields they offer vast Lawns for Frisbee and playing catch as well as the typical Park swings and slides Etc for the younger set.
