We saw some blues music here. We are from outta town.....but absolutely love your guys downtown area and stuff. My hats off to the city and community for investing in it and the work y’all have done!!!We loved taking the boy to the splash pad while listening to music...really cool area and was nice to see

Wonderful place to watch a movie under the starts. Audio is great and the video is also very good. Tip to future moviegoers is to bring a blanket or seat cushion to sit on. I enjoyed the ambiance and the place very much.

A very wonderful setting for many outdoor events. Great seating, with a great view of the Cedar River as the backdrop of the stage. They have lighting for evening events. Make sure to bring something comfortable to sit on if youre going to be there awhile.

This is a fabulous event area that is still surrounded by construction. In a few years it will be unlike anything else in Iowa. They bring in great talent along with food vendors and beverages, and it is always a fun evening. We came for fireworks the weekend after the 4th, and it was one of the best displays I have seen.You may have noticed that I give a lot of 5 stars. My lady and I travel all over Iowa and surrounding states, seeing lots of sites, events, restaurants and bars. The ones we like get 5 stars. The ones that dont warrant it will do not rate. I dont like to say bad things about establishments.

Since covid and quarantine began it got me hooked on playing Pokémon Go again. It is the easiest and one of the best places in Waterloo to go in a car to get Poké stops and gyms!

Clean, playground taped off at the moment. Right off the water. Can exercise on steps. Nothing to guard water off so watch your children.

Participated in Mayors color fun run. A good time was had by all.

An amazing place to visit.. love taking the kids to the splash pad and watching them play and then having a seat and watching the river. They also hold events when you can have a movie night or a band.. they have school functions their also.. an amazing place with an amazing view

It is a wonderful modern stage that is right up against the river. It is open air so you may want to be prepared for the elements, but seating is great. It is a wonderful outdoor amphitheatre!

This is a great place for live shows, afternoon walks, arts events, and playing Pokemon Go. There is a beautiful fountain, and many works of sculpture art are displayed behind the building. There is a playground for the kids which is a LOT of fun! It has little water sprinklers in the summer time. Best of all, its home to the Waterloo Center for the Arts, which is a marvelous experience unto itself!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable riverside are. There is limited amount of shade. If you dont mind getting a little wet there is a free splash pad to help you stay nice and cool. Only been once but already planning to go again!

Not very enjoyable. Parking availability Sucks, for people that have issues with walking so I just avoid going to events. The new building going up in adjacent to the facility is nothing but an eye sore and makes me feel crowded. Bad choices for a nice concept. : (

Small but quaint outdoor stage on the Cedar River. New and very clean. The city hosts a variety of free music events here. Right next to the brewery and a kids splash pad. A good addition to the city for sure.

A great outdoor venue when the weather is nice! Parking generally sucks for large events. There are usually public restrooms available. Love the native plantings and well kept lawn!

Always have a great time when we visit. Its a lot of fun to watch bands play and different cultures come in and sale products such as jewelry clothing food and many other things that come from there country.

Love going tmand sitting here early morning or late late night when nobody is around and just relaxing enjoying the sights and the tranquility. Its absolutely beautiful!!

This has been my place to go since summer 2016, I find it so relaxing at night and yet exciting during the day. A spot to bring your kids to the splash pad, or sit down relax, meditate, and listen to the dinner flowing at glistening lights at night

Went here for the splash pad. It was pretty great. The only drawback is if you go on Mondays they dont have a public restroom. Also there was algea growing under the seating area.

This is a great construction added to the Waterloo downtown area. Theres even a splash pad right next to it.

Its really good and cool for pokestops, they have a place inside for kids and its was awesome. And they do outside movies for deaf people

Great outdoor space overlooking the Cedar River. There is a fountain park for kids so bring extra clothes and a towel. Music can be heard all around the Amphitheater, not just in the Amphitheater which is nice because you can sit on the grass and still be a part of the show. It does seem difficult for the handicap to get to the actual amphitheater due to parking and ramp limitation. I would like to see more events there and/or better publicized.

A super attractive place to see a show or host one. Beautifully located on the river with stone grass or stadium seating available. One of the best amphitheaters I’ve seen. Even President Obama spoke here!

If I could give no stars it would be perfect. Planned our wedding there and was told everything is good to go. Until the ignorance of the employees shined through. They canceled our reservation of the amphitheater without telling us and basically said oh well. Do not donate any money or support this joke if a center for the arts. Low class, low intelligence, back stabbers!
