The club house is perched on the highest point of the golf course. It looks out over a gem of a course (Donald Ross design); 18 holes of rolling terrain located in a valley. The club exemplifies simple elegance. Excellent staff; very friendly, professional and helpful people in the proshop. We had drinks after the round and our server, Rachel, was excellent. Beautiful views over looking the 1st and 18th holes; if you get a chance this is a must play.

Great day for some golf, we may not have won the tournament, but we sure cleaned up in the raffles! Course was very clean, greens were in great shape.

Great food and service overlooking the greens and tennis courts. Seasonilly enjoy the heated pool for the children after daytime dining!

Attended a baby shower. Lovely place; tasty food. Only 4 stars because buffet trays were not refilled promptly. It was a brunch and I heard the French toast was good, but Ill never know

Great day. Country Club personnel treated us like we were members.

Played in October 2019. Lightning fast greens. Course was super green and in fantastic shape. Some of the pin placements were a bit unfair, where a decent putt missed that would normally go 2 feet past, went off the green, but otherwise no complaints. Looks like they put a bunch of money into the course.

Attended a wedding reception here.It was the first time Id been back to the Waterbury Country Club in over 40 years as I used to caddy there when I was in high school.The grounds were beautiful, the wedding was awesome, and the food was out of this world! The service and staff were also exceptional. Would highly recommend the country club as a venue for any social Gathering

Not only is it a great Golf Course and well-maintained, put their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. One of the very important things that I like so much about it as it has a very laid-back atmosphere. Even if you dont play golf the clubhouse the food is fantastic.

The food is great and the service is very professional. The golf course is something else! It was designed by a very well-known Scottish golf course architect who passed away in 1947. Check out their website for actual drawings and diagrams of his for each holes green. Ive never played the course but am proud to live in a city which is home to one of these awesome golf courses. Enjoy.

Great views from the dining room. Golfers say its a challenging course, as well. The food we had was very good and the servers polite. Good venue for an event.

Good course and generally well kept. They did sand the greens the day of the tournament, but the rest of the course was nice. A few long par 3s, 200+ yards.

One of the finest golf courses in new England.Easily accessible from the highway and upscale without the unnecessary frills of the pompous. The decor and the furnishings have been newly updated to include a pizza oven from Italy and a firepit which seats about a dozen comfortably. The chef is well reknowned and seems omnipresent every time we arrived.His fare is always fresh and palatable.The outdoor pool is well maintained and aesthetically pleasing nestled in the manicured shrubbery. The tennis courts are also convenient to the facility. Sign up for court time is encouraged. Overall its commendable for its balance of comfort, class and price.

Went here for my grandfathers funeral reception. Food was delicious. Staff were helpful and prompt to clean tables. Bartender was quick. It is a beautiful place.

The food was so cold. It was not appetizing to eat cold food. It was better 2yrs ago & heard it was delish last year also. Food was so cold i wanted to ask where the microwave was. HUGE disappointment! Hd to go ut afterwards & get HOT food.
