I was there for the Samson and Delilah debut of the great mezzo, Miss J’nai Bridges and she was phenomenal. The production was great and she did shine like the star she is!

Came to see Champion and really happy I did. Wonderful controversial topic of a gay boxer who struggled with killing one of his opponents. Beautiful opera house with a wonderful cast. Really wish more people had an appreciation for opera.

I went for the 4th for the Fireworks show this year and that is my new spot. Awesome view of the fireworks, not overly crowded, and the best part of all you can bring bags, and chairs. Something you cant do on the National Mall. My boyfriend and I got there a few hours early sorta expecting it to be a crazy like The Mall but it wasnt. So we had to kill and ordered Chinese food. They walked it right to us. Something that you wont get on the mall. We also seen a few other families have pizza delivered. So great low key place to go see the fireworks.

Forcing a 12pm matinee to reduce the conflict with the KC Gala is outrageous and abusive.
