The Astro turf is great, especially in the wet weather. Not a large space but enough for the dogs to run /fetch ball. Need to bring water as no faucet.

Today was the first day I saw a homeless person sleeping in the dog park

Super convenient turf field if you live in Shaw, but the field could use some work. Half the lights are out, there is a hole on one end, and the nets are never replaced. Plenty of social leagues to choose from.

New turf just got installed.

Fairly good as small, local turf fields go. Has enough goals to play either full-field or 2x half-field. Lighting at night is a bit uneven, and not a great setup for retrieving balls that go over the fence. Within walking distance to several bars.

Was a wonderful place until the mayor got in law

No shade on the field, balls get caught in the broken scoreboard. Decent turf though. There is shade in a much nicer dog park next door. Parking is pretty easy.

A decent place for soccer in the district. The pitch isnt always clean, but the leagues here are competitive, and thanks to the fences you dont have to spend your whole game chasing down out of bounds balls. It is typically easy to find parking nearby.

Not sure why they placed the lights where they did. A number of lights are missing, and even if they were all there, the lighting would still be off. You cant see anything on one of the fields.

Field is turf and finding parking might be a challenge. There is no net behind one of the goals so expect for frequent pauses during the game. Full field accommodates 9v9 matches.

Its ok for sports & excise

Great dog park - turf covered ~60 yard long park with tons of great dogs. Note no playground space if youre looking to bring kids and knock out two birds with one stone.

We love this dog park! Fun, friendly, & great for fetch & running. Soccer is near & can sometimes distract the dogs too.

Great turf field, theres a lot of reserved games on here but if you do manage to snag a time where its free, youre going to love it.

Great if you dont want to get dirty because of the game grass. I just wish it were a bit wider.

Pretty good turf field with lights and some bleachers. Dog run adjacent to the field with lots of dogs barking and running around. No bathroom access.

Nice and clean plenty of parking on the weekends. Friendly people everywhere

The artificial turf field is in good shape. Its a bit undersized for soccer or football if you use the full field. Only drawback about the park is that the garbage are frequently full.

The park was under construction for several months, but is now close to being reopened, hopefully sometime in the next month or two. The dog park at the North end (near Kipp) is now open.

Smaller bowling alley-type layout compared to other parks. But fully astro-turfed facility makes this a go-to location after a rain storm.
