What a unique and incredible space for creatives.From the artist perspective, Latela offers a variety of high-value workshops, and works with a variety of artists to showcase their work. Its also clear that the gallery is used as a space for healing and gathering, which I absolutely love.Attending the Business How Tos and Marketing Strategies workshop with Marta and Meghan earlier this year provided me with a wealth of tools to reflect on my own art business. It prompted me to set goals and branch out. I can honestly say attending that workshop was one of the best investment decisions Ive ever made for myself as an artist, and as a business owner. With a creative eye and community-oriented spirit, the owner and visionary Marta provides Brookland with a unique little gem.Latela Gallery showcases and sells art from local artists. Ive purchased a few items from their retail section, and have considered a few of their larger pieces for my home. If you are looking for art, crystals, cards, or unique little treasures, Latela is the place to go.Finally, they offer amazing community events from meditation classes to artoga (art and yoga) events, and art talks with wine. Its always a great place to meet interesting people and learn something new.

Phenomenal service, quality, and affordability. After meeting Marta during a walk-in she came to our house and helped us select the right space and size for a custom commissioned diptych canvas painting by an amazing local artist (Kristin Gaudilo Endsley). She went the extra mile with finishing touches and delivered and hung the painting herself. We love love love our painting and plan on many more visits to Latela.
