Chirokei Chiropractic Consultants, located inside the Anacostia Arts Center, is where I go for my PT. Im currently recovering from torn rotate cuff repair surgery. The doctors offered a new approach in my healing and recovery by using laser therapy. I have seen a significant amount of progress. I am healing faster, experiencing less pain and I am grateful that Dr. Vanterpool and Dr. Liu suggested I give it a try.

A welcoming environment to all. I love this place!! Not only are you able to shop for beautiful, unique, clothes created by local and international designers. You will be able to purchase vegan cuisine and organic foods. Receive certain medical care, and more. Its a one stop shop and a #hiddengem in ward 8.

This place is a versatilite collective of businesses and program offerings with art mixed in. The welcoming atmosphere offers various types of art, a community board (table), books, groceries, hot food, clothes, and even a chiropractic office. All of the business clerks are professional and courteous. The clothes are pricey (even in the vintage boutique) but the collections are good quality and the items are versatile.

Soooo, I was here about a week ago to get food. I guy stopped me and asked me to play Santa Claus for him because his original guy had backed out on him at the last minute. I was reluctant to do so; however, after seeing how desperate he looked and hearing his pleas, I agreed. He asked me to be there by noon on this past Saturday. I agreed, gave him my info, and he texted me immediately to confirm.I arrived at 11:59 and texted him that I was here. He never replied. After, 45 minutes, I left. His text confirmation is below.Harvey is very unprofessional and lacks great character and Ill NEVER attend anything at this center EVER again. Except Elife. The food is BOMB!!!Hi AJ its Harvey Fitz, Events Coordinator at the Anacostia Arts Center thank you again for agreeing to volunteer your time to be our Santa Clause for our Selfies with Santa even at 11am if you could arrive no later than 12noon that would be awesome.

So I believe that the marketing director uses gender discrimination! I was looking to get help with learning how to build my business and was told that i needed to be further in my business before they could help me to sum it up. There were a few female friends of mine that told me they helped them without asking them for the things I was asked to do. There is abuse of power within this place, looking to get legalities involved.

I initially came here for the Yelp 10 Year Birthday Bash in 2014 and recently returned to check it out outside of the hype of an event (GREAT event space by the way). I came on a Saturday afternoon with my buddy who I grab dinner with every Tuesday. It wasnt crowded, which was a nice change from our usual always crowded spots (La Colombe, Maketto, Potters House). Parking is always easy to find and theres many tables, outlets, and free wifi in the actual art gallery in the front of the center. In the very table, you have Nurish, a restaurant/coffee shop that brews La Colombe coffee. Nurish has its own seating area, but if you want window seating, go to the front of the center. The center also has a handful of boutique clothing shops.I walked away from the Anacostia Arts Center enjoying my experience and thinking it has a lot of potential.
