Waseca County Courthouse Park

Really neat place for a walk on the top of hillsides and ridges. Very visually interesting park. The Google photos didnt do it justice so I wasnt sure what to expect. Worth the hike. Saw bald eagles here, as well as evidence of porcupines. Id stop out again! Trails maybe would be precarious in the winter though

Nice little park on the outskirts of town. There is around 10 camping sites with no hook-ups for electricity or water so bring your own. There is one new cabin you can rent if you dont like sleeping in a tent. The cabin dies not have electricity or water either do you will still have to provide that yourself. There are a few miles worth of trails throughout the woods. The trails are getting nice again thanks to the newer property caretaker. He has really turned the place around since he loved in. The trails are almost all open and clear, one I ran into was down the hill by the river which was covered in weeds, than some sections that washed away were non accessible too. They are clearly marked to keep the public safe. There are 3 pavilions throughout the park and a playground and basketball court at the entrance. There are also horseback riding trails and hitching posts for the ones that enjoy horseback riding. I hope anyone that comes in to this area to stop and check this lovely little park out. One of the better hidden gems of the area.

Great place for family walks including our four legged family members or horse rides and camping when it is available. With lovely scenery to just escape from city life. Peaceful bliss

Beautiful place for a wedding! 2 years ago my son and his wife were married here. The people working here were pleasant and accommodating. They had everything clean and ready for us when we arrived.

This park is a great place to walk dogs.have. picnics.camp during season.nature trails.forest animals.deer.one of our favorites on a day as nice as today.!

Well maintained, quiet, allows tent camping in widely separated spots.

Great place to have a family outing. Nice and quiet. It’s got trails and my kid loved riding his bike there. I would recommend this place for any family outing.

Need more deer

Trails are in horrible condition. There is horse manure everywhere. The horse ruts make it an unpleasant experience as well. Who wants a twisted ankle and/or horse manure all over you. Its not even worth a 1 star rating.
