A nice lush forest in the middle of town.The rock carvings are really neat too.

Took the whole family here for a hike and some time at the park. The falls are not around this time of year and someone has defaced parts of the rock. But its a nice place to get lost and walk.

The coolest playground Ive seen, like a mini amusement park, totally made me jealous of my childhood playgrounds. Awesome walking path and adventurous sidepaths. With real good Missouri woodsy vibes.

This is my daughters favorite park. So much fun things for them to do and we love the walking path.

They have a new playground which is nice and a dog park down the street. I havent been on the trails but I see a lot of people use them so they must be good

This park is amazing. It has a hiking trail and a small cave you can explore a very large playground for children and it even has an enclosed dog park that is really good it is kept clean and mode it has large fields and two baseball fields I highly recommend this park

Absolutley love this park. Great for some light hiking. The trails are nice and the caves are fun to explore.

Its a beautiful nature walk way to enjoy the setting as it is. Just wish the park would put up cameras so they can catch people defacing the caves. An the areas up to them as well. Why cant u just leave the nature in its own beauty....

It was just a quick stop in the parking lot to eat lunch then the kids played on the beautiful playground until they got too hot.We plan on coming back to walk the trails sometime soon.

Great Park for the children. Nice and quiet

One of my favorite places to get lost in the woods around these parts. You discover new things hidden in the woods every time you go. The graffiti and stone carvings are always being added to, and the cave itself is really interesting to visit during different times of the year. Playground is new and looks fun for the kids!

Always love going here to walk & clear my head. It’s peaceful. Wish someone could move some trees that have fallen off the upper paths to walk but other than that it’s nice

I grew up in warrensburg and cave hollow has been one of my all time favorite places since I was a child. Moving back to the burg it had to be one of the first places I revisited.

So fun, great park!!! Trails are fun and nice for kids of all ages.

Great little trail with most of big on a paved surface. There is also a newer playground for kids near the entrance.

Cave hollow park is nice with one exception. The parking situation for sporting events on the fields (for mostly kids games) is terrible. There is not nearly enough good parking for parents coming and going from one game to the next, mostly because of the overlap when you show up early for a later game. The only actual parking lot is pretty far away from the 2 fields and up by the pavilion, play ground, and trails, or the lot for the dog park. Next to the fields its just parking spots along the road that fronts against the fields. The actual pull in spots get almost blocked by people just parking on the other side of the road where there shouldnt be any parking. Its a joke to get in and out between games, especially if you have a larger vehicle.They really need to add a few new rows of parking spots where the green space is across the road from the fields. Unfortunately that seems like the only way to expand parking without completely changing the layout of the park.

My first time here with my daughter and grandkids. We walked the trail and the grandkids climbed the large rocks at the end. It was such a relaxing time and they had so much fun, then they played on the large playground, it was awesome cant wait to go back.

This is a brand new all-inclusive park so children with disabilities can play just like other children their age. Equipment is larger and has ramps to accommodate wheelchairs and features a slide with rollers that prevent children from climbing up backwards. The floors are made of a squishy material to cushion falls. There is a paved trail that has beautiful caves which, I think, were part of a limestone quarry for the Johnson County Courthouse and some of the buildings on the UCM campus.

The new park is one of my son and Is favorite spot! We always have a fun time with all the new equipment and if we need to burn more energy there is a trail near by to hike.

Its a nice trail although the caves Ive seen are not very deep. They are exzelar and beautiful. Its got a nice park for the kids a baseball diamond and lunch benches its a very nice place to visit and not far from town.

Cave Hollow Park at the end of Gay Street boasts two full baseball fields, a size divided dog park, multiple nature trails, field space, a rentable gazebo, and a NEW playground! The playground is fantastic for young kids and their parents. It also includes disabled access to the swings and Zipline. If you havent been, go check it out!

Nice, quiet trail. Peaceful walk. Interesting faces carved into the rocks. Path is pretty well maintained, we didnt venture off on the side trails though. Nice park, picnic pavilion available.

Great little park to explore. Paved walking trail extends about a quarter of a mile back into the forest to an area with climbing rocks and large rock overhang which is the cave. Dirt trails circle out into the wooded area for a more challenging trek.

Its free! You dont have to be in shape to enjoy this hike and its scenery because its short and easy. There are benches along the trail as well.

No cave, no lv. 1 encounters our sorcerer almost died to a bugbear. Would not recommend paladin used all spell slots to heal him and had to use all of his lay on hands too. Almost no loot.

There is not to much here, but they are really putting effort to clean this park up. So much has changed since I used to hang out here as a teen. It was once just an out of the way, quiet park with nothing. To a growing lovely little community park thats simply hidden away. They have a nice dog park now, new play areas for kiddos. The trails are kept pretty clean and clear, as well as they can for dirt. They have two baseball fields and some open grass areas for play. There is a covered picnic area as well and decent parking.

Live the hiking trails and the new park. As well as the old drum dog park. Great spot in town!

The best play ground EVER!!

Easily my favorite park in the burg. Beautiful walking trails and a cool place for mountain biking. Best time to go is in the fall with all the leaves changing. Grab a few photos and get in the exercise at the same time.

Cave Hollow is an excellent hiking place. The main trail is paved, making it wheelchair and stroller accessible. There are several hiking trails off the beaten path, but watch for poison ivy. Great for nature photos.

This place makes me sad alot of graffiti its a shame that not only did people die there from the small pox in the 1800s from trash build up in the natural spring they are still trashing the place
