Cute little cafe in downtown warrensburg. The staff is really friendly and their food is super fresh and tasty. Loved their tuna edamame bowl!

Such a cozy little place with nice service and warm atmosphere. The tea is incredible and the sandwiches are so flavorful and fresh. Get the tuna sandwich!!

Wonderful little lunch cafe with some serious culinary delights. Service was excellent! I hope they add more hours soon! Ill definitely be stopping here every time I am in town.

One of my favorite local spots for a quick, healthy bite! Their tea is always amazing, hot or iced. The seasonal, locally grown produce makes everything on the menu fresh and delicious. I will always recommend Blackadder!

This place is outstanding. If it were in a large city there would be a line out the door. The food is basic but nicely nuanced. I had the grilled cheese with almonds. I can’t wait to go back.

Always get their specials, because you are always in for a treat! I am a huge fan of artichokes and hardly ever get to eat them, but they have a heavenly artichoke and mushroom soup often! Pictures below! Nothing but good things to say about the workers and food here!

This cafe is my favorite lunch spot in town, and the place I crave the most! The atmosphere is always inviting with great/friendly service, even when they’re in a busy time slot of the day. I have made this my regular afternoon lunch spot with my friends since my first visit. The food is always made to perfection, the cookies are to die for, and the variety of soups/beverages they offer through the seasons bring a uniqueness to this town! If you have never been here, I highly recommend it. I am moving next year and the only thing I’m upset about leaving this town is not being able to take this restaurant with me!

Wow. Did not expect the inside given the name, the history of which is explained on the menu. Local grown, local served, pretty much farm to table as much as they can. I opted for their daily special. Seared yellowfin tuna with an arugula pesto, cucumber and squash, mini mozzarella cheese balls with pistachios, some black berries, wild rice, and in house made crostini. I think food was the easy choice. Besides flavored iced tea, they had an assortment of flavored lemonades to choose from. Decided on regular lemonade and it did not disappoint, it was literally handmade from scratch right when I ordered it. Food was phenomenal I wish I could have this place back home and I want just visiting. Finished off with a cup of their Darjeeling tea and a lemon cookie. Perfect end to a perfect meal. Great atmosphere and staff.

What can I say? My sister and I call this our place.we have the most amazing teas here. We get to see adorable furniture thats repurposed. No table is the same. Its always packed but it seems to have a really good flow of traffic in and out. We havent ever had to wait.yesterday we took our mother there and she loved it too. Its about $9 for a sandwich. Which can be a little high. But when you take into effect that youre getting a very rib sticking meal, you leave satisfied.The service is always amazing and the food is even better. They have fresh food from the local farmers and everything is made to order. it takes a little bit to get your food but not longer than say Applebees or a mainstream restaurant. and theres nothing nicer than sitting with someone you really care about and enjoying some delicious tea while you wait. The atmosphere is amazing. Its a really neat old building.I adore Cafe Blackadder.

Try the hummus plate! Seriously though, one of my favorite meals ever. I wish I could eat it every day. The potato leek soup is awesome (though never served hot enough). The panini was voted best sandwich in MO and doesnt disappoint. The specials are always creative and tasty. And for the love of God get some cookies while youre there. Yummy!

The best Sandwich Ive ever had! The Rueben was awesome, seriously the best thing Ive ever ate on bread or a bun. I put off going here way too long and cant wait to go back. More than likely Ill go for dinner Friday. One of my new favorites!

Its like a classy American Diner with an Eastern twist, and you pretty much cant go wrong on the menu. We had the Reuben and potato soup today, plus teas and cookies. Definitely coming back!!

Cafe Blackadder is one of my very favorite restaurants. I love their rotating specials and have never left disappointed with anything Ive tried (which has been a considerable amount). Their staff is full of wonderful people who put their all into what they do, and it shows. I also admire their philosophy on keeping food as local as they can, and up-cycling furniture. Five stars all around.

Not sure what Warrensburg did to deserve this place, but the town should consider itself blessed.Great atmosphere, lovely service, and real good food. A bit pricey-$8 to $9 for sandwiches-but worth it for sure.

This place was delicious. We went to visit some friends and hang out and they suggested that we check this place out. I was not disappointed the food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was super relaxing and nice. The prices are great as well. I will definitely be coming back here next time Im in the area.

We had resolved to find a different restaurant as we passed through Warrensburg and we were delighted by Cafe Blackadder. The decor is quaint and the selections are well-presented. My wife had the Sunny Broccoli Bacon Melt and I had the Havarti & Almond Grilled Cheese. Both were superb and innovative sandwiches. We split a sweet potato starter and we are looking for a similar recipe -- it re-defines sweet potato anything. The tea alone was worth the stop. Do it!

I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve walked through the door. The food is amazing and it shows that they care about the quality and the local sourcing of the food. The seating is small but quaint and the service is great! Try the Egyptian Dream tea it’s to die for!

This is a lovely little local cafe, complete with a very nice wait staff. Ive been twice in the past month and had a soup and sandwich combo each time (potato soup, tuna sandwich and vegetable chowder and Turkey salami sandwich), along with their raspberry tea. Absolutely delicious! Just good simple fresh tasting food. Ill definitely be back.

Great farm to table cafe. Fresh choices with vegan and vegetarian options. Rotating specials. Salads, soups, sandwiches and lovely desserts make this place a repeat again and again. The tea is also fabulous. Try a gooey butter cookie after your lunch for a perfect bite of sweet!

This restaurant is great! Takes a little longer to get your food because it is prepared fresh. The menu is unique and the food is delicious. I love the atmosphere with the local art and often live music.

Great food! Loved the pork tenderloin special. Love the atmosphere and live music. Although the music was kind of too loud for me to visit with the people I was with, even at the very back table. Nevertheless, it was a great place to eat. I enjoy their hot tea flavors as well. The carrot cake was fantastic, my 12YO loved it also. Would definitely recommend and return.

Food is delicious and different from everyplace else in town. Atmosphere is fun and unique. Can be loud. So popular you wait for a seat. Pricier than other options, but you get what you pay for. Its worth what they ask.

The hummus plate was amazing and I got what was voted Missouris best sandwich and it was very good! Its very cute and low-key, our waitress was adorable and amazing.

My husband and I went here for the first time today and were not disappointed. I typically dont branch out with what I eat, but I was so glad I did today. The food was so good! And locally sourced which is amazing. We also tried a hibiscus tea and two of their cookies and they were phenomenal. We cannot wait to go back. This place is truly a gem in Warrensburg.

Their sandwiches were delicious. They also had a cute and fun atmosphere. However, their prices were high for the value. We have better sandwich places in Oklahoma City with cheaper prices. However, considering the selection that the area around it has for food, this is a good place to try out. The staff was also very friendly.

This place is one of a kind in a small town. The ownership cares about every detail of the meals they offer. They always have a new soup or salad, or a new spin on something.

Favorite lunch spot in town. Its well worth the price and any potential wait in line for a table. The soups are extraordinary, with lots of selection. The sandwiches are too die for. I was actually depressed when they removed the Ham and Jam classic. The atmosphere is great, and the service is PHENOMENAL. I cannot speak more highly of the wait staff there. And never skip dessert - the butter cookies are always worth it.

I spent several years in Europe and, when I moved back stateside, I was really disappointed with the quality of the restaurants in the area until I found this cafe. The food, ambience & service here are all simply the best! Keep it up... you guys are amazing!

I loved this little cafe which sources everything possible locally and provides a warm, inviting setting for enjoying food obviously prepared with love. Everything on the menu can be made vegetarian or vegan. I had the soup of the day and the house salad. Both were delicious. My mother had a Reuben with corned beef. She said it was by far the best one she had ever eaten.Add in the facts that the prices were reasonable and the service impeccable and they easily earned my five star rating.

Cafe Blackadder is one of my favorite restaurants in Warrensburg! For those who enjoy more natural food and healthier, this is the place to go! Sandwiches, soups, salads with items locally sourced. If you have a sweet tooth I recommend ham and jam sandwich and fruity fetta salad! Green gazebo tea is so delicious too!

Good-hearted folks, amazing food, decent prices for how much they get locally... its the closest thing youll find in Warrensburg, Missouri (and a 90 mile radius for that matter) to a decent vegetarian cafe. By far my favorite vegetarian cafe in Missouri (even beats Main Squeeze in Columbia) Service is usually pretty fast and always friendly. Only suggestions--bring in smoothies and possibly a bigger space.Support your local businesses.. this is definitely one to keep coming back to!

Delicious homemade food. Best sandwich and soup shop in town. There are so many good choices here for sandwiches, soups and salads. Their cookies are great too. They support local farmers so you know the food is homegrown and fresh. Very artsy vibe here, it is such a neat spot to eat. My favorite is the Italian salami panini or the havarti grilled cheese. You wont go wrong here!

They say best sandwich in Missouri and they might be right! It definitely has the small country town feel and its perfect! They can and are happy to customize everything. Highly recommend.

Hands down my favorite cafe Ive ever been to. Each table has its own unique table cloth and salt and pepper shakers. The walls are decorated with paintings and art done by local artists which can be bought and is cycled regularly, but the food is the best part. If you want to be WOWed by some home cooking that grandma would be proud of, at a price she wouldnt cringe at, this is your spot. Come hungry too because after youve finished a delicious fresh made soup and sandwich or a tasty salad, theyve got cookies that melt in your mouth and could make a grown man cry.
