This place is a lot of fun. A small business run well. They mix up the open skates very well with fun games. The music is mostly family friendly. Youll find lots of arcade games, a big climbing play ground (additional $4.00 for the wristband), a decent snack bar, and one beat up pool table. I would give it five stars except the skating floor is a little rough in some places, and the bathrooms are in desperate need of a remodel. Each time I come, they have made some improvement. If you come for a special holiday skate, (expect it to be very crowded) they do a glow skate where they turn off the regular lights and have a laser show as well as lots of black lights for 10-15 minutes. Wear neon colors to really shine. They sell glow sticks and light-up toys and jewelry to wear during the glow skate as well.

For those who don’t know, today at 1:30AM, the building caught on fire and was burnt to a crisp. Sad to see this place go. I had so many fun memories here in my elementary school days. I hope all is well with the employees and hopefully this place will get rebuilt someday. Was planning on coming this Friday but sadly that won’t happen :(

Easily the greatest movie I have seen all year. At its peaks you cant stop laughing, and at its valleys you can barely hold back tears. An emotional roller coaster that is beautifully directed.

Sadly, it burned to the ground this morning. My best wishes to the Brainard family. Many good memories there.

This is the best rink in the area. My boys and I really love to skate. The rink is super nice and smooth. Its also still a large rink. They are number 1 in our opinion.

LOVE IT! You cant find a better place to go skating! Its an affordable family fun place with an upbeat positive atmosphere. The facility it clean and newly updated and has a arcade, play area, and snack bar! Theres plenty of seating and parking and the staff is AMAZING! You will feel like family here! They also offer a military discount for all the families who have served ;) Rain or shine this is a great way to spend an afternoon with the family !

I have attended this skating rink since I was a child. I loved it there. We now go as a family with our own two children.I personally cant believe the negative reviews. Ive been going for years, and this is the ONLY skating rink in the area I will go to. They take care of the establishment, its clean, and the floors are always well taken care of.We have never had an issue with getting food at the snack bar, or with any of the staff. Matter of fact, theyve always been more than helpful with anything I needed. I purchased skates from the skate shop and any time I have an issue or need maintenance I can just walk up to the counter, its a nice convenience.We will continue to go to Champion Skate. Its inexpensive fun, and I personally like the fact that they make parents take care of their kids. Its a skating rink, not a baby sitter.If youre worried about money, inquire with the owners about free admission for kids, Im sure theyd be more than happy to help as they did for us.

Place is fun. Food is just okay. Chicken tenders are gross. They look nothing like the photo on the menu.

Had my party there this past friday. Wasnt that great of experience. When booking the party they told me that we can arrive at 6:45 to set up are stuff. When we got there to go in at that time we couldnt instead we are standing in this really hot hallway the frosting on the cake started to melt tried getting the owner attention completely ignore me he wasnt a very nice or pleasant guy at all! Paid 220.00 for this party i expected to have everyting included.. Kids got tokens and mostly all the games were out of order or they were taking the kids tokens and the game wouldnt work. Charge me extra money for them to have a hostess to help us with the party and no was there helping with nothing. Worst party experince ever. ANYBODY LOOKING TO HAVE A PARTY HERE I WOULD THINK TWICE ABOUT IT DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! AND BATHROOMS WERE DISGUSTING.

Champion skating rink is an irresponsible establishment. The game Danger Zone is a reckless endangerment of their customers safety. They may have warned beginners not to skate, but when you have a mass of skaters being swung at by the staff, people can get seriously hurt. I was lucky to get out with only minor injuries. That is if you would call getting hit by another skater, hitting a wall, and getting landed on by two other skaters minor injuries. Its absolutely ridiculous. Im lucky I didnt get a concussion. The only reason I was still on the floor when it started is because I thought danger zone was a different game theyve played there before. Even worse, upon getting hurt, the staff member, a young man with glasses, just laughed and said, if youre gonna play danger zone, youre gonna get hurt! And offered no support. Were not planning on going back. There are other skating rinks that are less dangerous with a friendlier staff.

Our family Loves this place, its clean and very Family Friendly, the Owners are Awsome and always willing to help you with any questions you may have.Ive seen some negative reviews and its not fair to the Owners, they have a business to run, and they supply a fun safe place for your Family to go, their not there to kiss you donkey, and in my opinion they should be stricter with unruly Children, and especially the Parents look if you dont like this place then dont come back, there are other places you can go skating, but Im sure youll probably find something wrong their to because your the problem not them.My family gives this place a5 STAR RATING !!!!!!

I have never seen such a disgusting place. The food is not cooked the proper way. They are very unsanitary. They treat their employees in the most disrespectful way. Would not suggest going or working here.

I go almost every Friday. I find its a great time with friends and I enjoyed going. This past Friday I was harassed by the female owner. She swore and threatened to kick me out with no refund,for something I did not do. The workers agreed in the fact I did not do it, as the female owner said we where not telling the truth. This place I go to too have fun has become a place where I find bad memories. The male owner on the other hand was very respectful and I enjoy him. To point out the obvious, itd be highly recommend and appreciated if she did not continue to work.

Poorly ran. Place is ran by kids. Owners couldnt care less about anything but making MONEY. I expressed my concern over the wheels on my daughters skates they said the only thing they could do was rent us an assist, really. The owner had a huge attitude. The wife said oh you shouldnt have talked to him. Never again

The female owner ia ridiculously rude! She takes pleasure in picking on the kids, some type of pathetic power trip. Really a shame because the rink is nice and skating is great exercise. I understand kids can be a handful but its not a winery its a skating rink that markets to kids so learn to deal with kids or find a different job! You cant swear at a 13 year old! You cant toss them outside! Disgusting.

If you really think that the owners think of nothing but making money you dont know the owners at all. I have been going to that rink since i was 9 or 10......now im 55....what a great place and an even greater atmosphere.......my son who is now 10 loves this place, and the people here treat him good.

Took my daughter and her friend and while they had a good time skating, the service at food counter was a joke. They each placed an order for fries.... It took almost an hour to get one and over an hour to get the other, all the while several other order numbers were called. When they went to ask about their fries the girls were dismissive and just said they werent ready yet... Theyd have to wait. I watched as they laughed and joked and shrugged as my girls came back to our table directly across from the counter. I made eye contact with a raised eyebrow with one of the girls who then said something to the other. Shortly after that the first order came up. 15 mins later the other. Literally less than a handful of fries each for 2.50 that took over an hour to get. Rediculous.From now on, IF they go to skate, they will not be getting anything from snack counter.

Its a fun place even for adults its very fun for your kids and I went there as a child

Cheap, immature and pathetic. The last three times I have attended this facility I have been met with harassment from the owners wife and the disappointment that this once great place has been turned around in a terrible direction by the new management. By the end of the evening I was considering filing harassment charges . Adults do not get treated as such. I will not be returning, which saddens me because Ive been going there since before I can remember, and I will make sure everyone I know doesnt attend either. Threats were made to up the prices twice over the intercom as well, and management expressed this by screaming at the children. And I am disgusted. Good riddance
