Me and my friend just ran 3 miles. It was amazing
Very nice very clean I enjoyed it primarily white people look like
Love this place. Take my son and he has a blast. My friend and I meet up here and we have a good day with her two kids and my son. We come to use the water slides and pool. Clean and friendly staff and lifeguards. Sometimes we order pizza and pop also.
Great place nice staff. Cant wait until they reopen
Water Aerobics classes are great and instructors are true professionals. The pool is clean and great looker room facility. The staff and life guards and swim instructors and managers are well trained and caring. Also family looker rooms, ramp accessible to pool, lap pool, children’s play structure, lazy river for walking, slides and much more both in summer and winter. This community center makes me proud to say, “The City of Warren has the best”.
This is a big community center. The water park area is kept very warm. The auditorium is well designed and there really arent any bad seats. They can do birthday parties here and the host/hostess will take good care of you!The staff are really nice and the bathrooms are usually clean and stocked. It is helpful that the library is attached to the center.
I never knew how grateful I was for this place until I had a kid and she basically wants to live here. We did swimming classes and the instructor was so kind and made my daughter so comfortable and confident 10/10 would recommend for classes or just to hang out on the weekend.
Pros:Great place for the family to swim with really affordable rates- We pay $44/ month for two adults and one 2 year old, and that’s WITH daycare. This is a non-resident rate as we live in Royal Oak. The water and facilities are very clean, the life guards are nice and helpful and pay attention which is always comforting. The daycare area is clean and the young ladies that work in there are very nice and interact with the kids well. The open gymnasiums are roomy and clean. You can host showers and parties here as well at very affordable rates. The gym is little but it has everything you need to get a good workout done.Cons: The family locker room is a bit cold, but you get over that. The company they contract for the little food area is inconsistent and barely there. I feel they could maximize their profit and customer experience by employing their own people to run concessions. Wet angry toddler in a cold locker room is one thing. Wet hangry toddler in a cold locker room is quite another. (Though, if you bring food into the eating area by the pool they won’t make you put it away because the concessions is never open).Overall, we are so glad we joined here!
I enjoy the place a lot. People and staff are very nice. The lockers in the locker room are small, but manageable. Been going there about 2 months now.
I usually go here to ride my bike on the walking & biking path. I dont like to deal with traffic when I have to ride during daylight hours rather than after nightfall.
Best family changing rooms. I love the childrens area in the pool. Warm water pool is so relaxing. Gym is good too.
Water park is hands down better than Troys for kids under 18. Clean facility and friendly staff. The pool has a family locker-room in addition to the standard mens and womens. The family locker-room has plenty of lockers for your stuff (Bring your own lock) and about 8 individual locking rooms with showers and some have a toilet. The theater has amazing shows that my kids love to see. Get your tickets early, most shows sell out!Overall, I wish this place was in my home City... Thankfully, Warren is not that far of a drive.
I love coming here. They have so many activities for kids and adults alike. This was a great place for the community, and it remains one today
We were please try surprised with the pool area. I had a toddler with me and he had a great time! We will be back - nice and clean with friendly staff
I only come here to take my cousins son to play in the splash pad and lazy river. The restrooms smell horribly, though but luckily I dont spend much time in there. I am also confused as to why theres always sand in the splash pad. Overall the kids always seem to enjoy themselves and I admit to liking the lazy river so its always worth the time to come play for a couple hours.
The Facility itself is amazing, it has so many amenities... but the general attitude of employees and even many member-holders is deplorable. I let my membership lapse. I felt like an outsider.
There a lot to do! They have awesome pool tables, like new I tell ya! Their weight room is huge they have a big ole pool they have a huge area for the kids to play in with a whole bunch of different things to play with and using different toys to use with their imagination to make so dreams come true or whatever...it is a VERY nice place with a very friendly and helpful staff! I give this community center thats right 2 thumbs way up!
Beautiful atrum water park Warren residents & guest $5 adults $2 kids 3& under free life Jacks welcome some available on site Fun for the whole family Clean updated v hot tub is huge and clean 4- water slides 2-for tots and much more highly recommend. Voted #1 2018
I love the variety of water places to excersize The locker rooms could use some cleaning throughout the day because hair and things like that stay on the floor and makes it dirty with other dirty things as well. Some healthier snack machines could be added as well. But over all I love it I can cone when I can and get my work out in!!!
Love the classes, love the pool, the only downside is if you wanna go on the weekends it gets kinda crazy in the pool are, but it is a very family friendly place so I guess its expected.
Great place fir great family price. If you have multiple children 16-17, its good for them too! Fitness and pool
It was good to have a party but not much set up time.1/2 HR not enough time.
My kids love playing basketball here. I enjoy the pool and fitness center.
The best part of living in Warren, MI. $5 for a day pass or $25 per month. Feel like you are on vacation for the day!
Good place for families to take kids in winter . Nice indoor water park and pools
Love this place. Awesome gym, classes, pool, basketball, walking trail outside and inside walking route, library... really nice place.
Me and my boyfriends family went to the Warren community center today it was my first time going so of course I did my research. I noticed some bad reviews but I thought it was fine. Upon researching I seen on the website that 16 year olds and up were allowed to go in the hot tub (there is also a sign in front of the family locker room) so of course me and my boyfriend who are 17 enter the hot tub. Within 5 minutes the pool manager walks up and ask how old we are we say were 17 and he tells us to get out. we told the pool manager that the website and the sign in front of the locker room door said 16 and up and he simply said the we still couldnt go in there with even with an adult. once I wanted to the hallway I noticed that one of the lifeguards took the sign off and within 5 minutes came back with a new updated sign the side hot tub is only allowed for 18 year olds and plus. It was very confusing for me being a first-time guest.
Great life guard there named Destiné. So much fun for the family.
I enjoy the Summer Camp maybe more than my son! The staff is wonderful and the program has everything for a child to enjoy Summer! Its safe and ran very efficiently..and the best thing is you pay as you go on a weekly basis, though you have the option to pay for the entire Summer.
Fun for the entire family very clean pool hot tub sauna water slides private family changing rooms life guards all around A+
As long as you dont have to deal with anyone at the front desk you will love it, those ladies are terrible I have not had one pleasant experience with them. I called to inquire about a monthly membership, and the lady sounded so inconvenienced by my inquiry. Asked her how much it was, her answer was IDK, followed by a pause and a very condescending where do you live as if I A POSSIBLE NEW MEMBER would know that would matter. I would much rather go swimming in a puddle than to ever give them a dollar of my check. Also they closed early while myself and a friend from the military were jogging there trail and they refused to allow him to use the bathroom even tho there hours clearly stated they were still open just all around rude would not recommend
Love this place! Great water park and fitness facilities. Casey, the night time supervisor was very helpful and professional. Thank you Casey for taking your time to help me!
Most of the staff is nice. But there are some power-tripping teens who are rude. And I love the waterslide. I just dont get the arbitrary age requirement for the childrens area. My almost 6 year old is big enough to go down the water slidebut she cant be in the ankle deep childrens area unless Im in the water within a foot of her. I get the height requirement but this age requirement is arbitrary and senseless. And the lifeguards can definitely yse improvement in their communication. Brry disrespectful!
My daughter loves this water park. Its right for kids of all ages and you dont have to be worried about your children hurting themselves. the lifeguard are attentive and on watch. Th y should give you more time to set up for the birthday party my only disappointment but it worked out fine. Time was going on so quick I didnt have time. to set up they only let you in the room 15 minutes before the party that not enough time to do anything nevertheless. I enjoyed myself.
Nice facility. Wonderful library and aquatic center.
I think its ridiculous they have swim lesson that take the whole pool until 12pm, no swimming and then there is only vending machines that the front desk will not break a 10 dollar bill for they say they wont do that. I havent been here in about a year and Im not impressed with how it is now they use to sell snacks now they tell you to leave and eat and come back
I went for my nephews bday party. The kids had a lot of fun. It was bigger than I expected. Inside was very warm & humid even though it was February. Area was clean. The kids had a blast
Used to volunteer at a place called crossroads where i learned the new skill of baking, meal concessions and business unit. They had an idea by to check this place out so I gladly visited with them. Loved the lazy river, the slide by and if I remember right through jacuzzi. Cant tell you if you need to pay at the door, it be invited/ accompanied by a resident. No matter what get there and check them out.
Nice place for you or family but very pricey for non Warren residents not a good value for joining even for family of three will run you 350 for a year also there should be a better value for low income families like most centers even ymca has low income membership
This is a fabulous place. Has everything required to keep busy, especially with the winter months coming. All I need to do now is decide on a membership package.
My girls take swimming lessons here and play soccer on the fields outside. The swimming teachers are great and my daughters swim like fish. I highly recommend the swimming lessons here.
I like having a membership. Sometimes it gets too crowded when large groups of people get there. Sometimes a child deficates in the kid area and the lazy river has to get shut down for at least 30 min. The hot tub is generally nice. They changed the age to 18 and above. Mostly the elderly go in. I once got a rash on my chest in there but all other times I have not. The slides stairs need repair so they are shut down for now. A little too long in my opinion. The lap pool is one way to get away from splashing fools... there is a 16+ age requirement and 2 in a lane. The life guards are in specific areas. Choice of a man or womans or family lockers and shower room . Make sure you bring a lock! If your not a member use the main entrance and pay at the desk. There are tables with chairs inside and out on the patio. You are not supposed to bring outside food. Though they do not have the food offerings anymore. They replaced them with vending machines. Sometimes there are classes so the areas may not be available. All in all, I like the Warren pool. 5$ for residents and 10$ if not.
Water was clear but kinda needs a good cleaning. Some kind of sediment or something in the splash area. The rest just a deep clean
Great place to go to escape Michigan winters, very kid friendly and safe, plenty of lifeguards to supervise kids.
My grandchildren and I love the pool
I havent used the facilities yet but did a walkthrough & cant wait to come back. Everything was clean, great amenities, classes included in membership. I bought a 1 year gold membership while I was there & going back to swim/hot tub/sauna in a few minutes. Tomorrow morning (Thursday) I will try out the Yoga with Jeanie class at 9am. Thanks for reading this review & hope to see you there.
Nice place, everyone was very nice. Everything looked nice and clean
Awesome! wish my city had this.
It was a nice place. It was huge and hard to find on GPS. When we finally found where to park and enter, we were still lost on exactly where our event was specifically.
Perfect venue for birthday parties and events. Nice big indoor pool for kids and adults alike.
Good machines sauna, steam room.pools,Baby pool and gym,Billiards room wonderful for everyone
Yes its a very nice place to work
Small weight lifting gym, great aerobic machine selection ... lap swim pool is warm but great water park inside for kids. It is a former high school so there is a library, basketball court, multiple open billiards tables, pretty much anything you could want ... pool and gym have $5 admission ... but did I mention the lap swim is warm, trade offs, unless you are into warm lap pools, then you have found the promise land
I liked the indoor water play. The people at reception were a little rude to us because we were from out of town. The lifeguards kept yelling at the kids. The kids had a fun time otherwise.
Used to love the affordability of this place, but prices have gone up considerably since we dont live in Warren. We were there after 5 and still had to pay $12 each, the big slide was closed and half the big pool for lessons. The lifeguards are always attentive, butt it was crowded and I couldnt believe the big kids were allowed to run around with their squirt guns shooting everyone, even my 12yo found them obnoxious. Will go somewhere else next time.
Excellent indoor pool. Love this place! Great place for whole family. Best indoor swimming pool. Great staff, kind and helpful.
Well maintained and well equipped community center that offers a wide range of services to the community. Helpful staff, and lots of free parking surrounding much of the building.
Super clean facility. Nice staff. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to pay premium only to find both water slides closed.
They have a TON of things to do here for all ages! My daughter, for example is only 14 months and has swim lessons there. Their pool area is great and features a lap pool, hot tub, a play area for kids, the kiddie pool that only goes up to 3ft deep, etc. They have a pretty nice looking gym that looks into the pool area. They have a theatre, a physical therapy office, a variety of classes for the elderly down to the young kids. Its well secured, they have ample parking and its never TOO crowded.
Such a fun time! We could be there for hrs!
We have been here twice with family and enjoyed the facilities both times. If we lived in Warren, we would definitely get a membership. Many benefits with a membership. Love how the community took a school and turned it into something so great and useful. More places should do the same. Well done Warren!!
Daughter went for a swim lesson nice facility and great instructor a little too much going on for it to be swim lessons. They had free swim and senior water aerobics would have liked the area to be closed so more attention can be paid to the students but all in all the price was $58 for four weeks so will not complain! Great place for a start for your littleSwimmer to learn
I go here Mon-Wed-Fri in the morning. They have the lazy river open. They have aerobics classes 9am 10am and 11am. You can also swim 25 yard laps until 8:45 and then 23 yard laps after. If you join NOW you will get $20 off your membership. There are also water weights noodles and kick boards to use. I am not a Warren resident but I now have silver sneakers through ins. I love this place and recommend it highly.Early morning hours are for seniors and Sterling Heights get Warren resident prices.Just wanted to add your membership also allows you to use the gym
I love this place. So much to do at a price i can afford.
My children have gone here for years for swim classes. We always have a great time. The instructors are great. Not the greatest for toddler parent swim. They have lots of students for 1 class and not nearly enough private space in the family changing room. 5 changing rooms for a class of 25, plus other classes getting out at the same time. Yikes. In the summer its ok because you can just leave wet. But in the middle of winter you will be waiting quite a while to get a room to change. So we only take swim in the summer now. But we are very happy with them when we do go!
Warren is picking up the slack for the surrounding cities with this great benefit. Every city should have their own community center like this one. Lots of programs for all ages. Good for what ails you.
Slides have been closed indefinitely. It has been well over a year since I have seen them open. They often close portions of the pools or entire pools for lessons, making the lazy river far too crowded for my taste. I tolerate this facility only for my children.
Fun for the whole family! Different things to do. We like the pool.
Always fun to go here! I was pleasantly surprised that Sterling Heights residents get the lower cost like Warren residents! Onlt reason I am giving it 4 stars is, because the big slide isnt open!
Family oriented. Great place.
Very enjoyable. lots of Activities Friendly staff.
Fun place with the pool lazy river sauna and such theres so many things to choose from pool area is clean bathroom / changing rooms are kept clean as well which is so wonderful a family asked me to take their picture over all it was a wonderful day
Great facility. Lots of activities there for any age group. They have a great indoor pool, a big library, workout room and more.
Great pool and gym and a lot more to offer.
Went to a 50th birthday party here. The place is a nice but the rooms need air conditioners not fans.
Great place for a little family fun!
THANK YOU MADISON FOR HOSTING OUR PARTY FOR MY BROTHER KISHAWN. WE APPRECIATE YOUR HARD WORK.
Cheap and nice gym, especially if youre from Warren
Get a membership it covers everything! Meand my family do so much for such a great price. Free child care for those mommies trying to loose their tummy! Indoor water park my kids love. Sauna and steam room are heaven
GREAT PLACE-Craft show was awesome!
I went for the last day of the parent infant swim class and it was a lot of fun.
Always clean and well staffed. Classes are reasonable and varied. I love the small library.
Its a great environment and family friendly surroundings
Worst experience came here with my five siblings paid $60 to enter, which would be fine if We had access to everything the pool has to offer including waterslides the three pool area is. But both sides were down in the pool was closed due to an exercise in class. I get it things have to go on in order to keep business but when I came in today I should’ve been told that I was not going to be able to do all these extra activities. Lazy employees just standing around, One lifeguard kicked my six-year-old brother out of the pool for not being tall enough while the four-year-old was in the pool herself what a great life guard! This place has gone so downhill over the years!
My kids loved it there, clean and spacious ... just an FYI if you arent a Warren resident, theres a $12 admission fee to enter regardless of swimming but if u are a Warren resident I believe its $5 ...
Our troop did Park clean up here. Great place. Lots to do and see.
