We rented this house on a few different occasions to have a simulated Victorian Wake. Working with the historical society was such a pleasant experience and we enjoyed very much. This building is such a great piece of history and is very well taken care of by the society. Highly recommend the venue for small parties and gatherings.

We rented the house for our family reunion and it really made it a special occasion. Having multiple rooms where we could have different types of games allowed everyone to really relax. Plus we were lucky enough that the rain waited til later and we could use the patio too. It was beautiful. I would highly recommend this place for just about any kind of event.

I got married here. The house is beautiful, with a beautiful garden and in a beautiful part of town. Its a great place to rent out (inexpensively) for small events and they do allow alcohol.
