Beautiful experience I just went to take son nothing close to water

Field 4. ️ I do believe this is my first time here and I already like it. For the time were in with the pandemic, Im glad its not too crowded and the people here are keeping seperated. Also, the internet connection is outstanding.

Different events every night during the summer, whether its a movie showing, line dancing, or who knows what else they come up with. All for the price of admission too, which since most of the events dont start till the evening, is the great price free. Field 4 is the closest parking field to the band shell and its located right near the bathrooms and main concession stand as well as the games area.

First time to visit Jones Beach,liked the board walk and the Sandy beach but the water was to cold to swim in not like Florida. But still had fun.

Saw the best bands Half Step and Dave Diamond Band there.

Some free evening concerts on the boardwalk. Some good shows, some so-so. .... A matter of your taste. Do not confuse with the Marine Theater which gets major acts .... At a price.

It is an excellent place to have a nice time i liked the the beach, and the board walk and i also enjoyed the playing area with my kids. I recommend Jones beach to the whole world.

Great Rolling Stones Tribute Band! Almost as good as seeing the real thing. Played 2 hours non stop!

Unfortunately when you arrive to the beach, theres a sign NO PETS NO ALCOHOL ETC. well. You find all the people drinking beer, wine, smoking marijuana in everywhere and garbage...a lot of garbage, the people finish the food and throw the garbage in the sand....nobody respect nothing speakers running bachata and all the Latin music, and more garbage...I feel sorry cause the place is beautiful but the people....

Only place u can get a shovel and other beach gear. If you feel that you missed something pass by here and get what you need.

Didnt like the dj for latin night he should of been prepared and made it more fun! Maybe next time hell do a better job

A long forgotten beach of false dreams and broken glass. This is where the pie piper rounds up all the kids at the end of the night. Souls wait for yestermorrow repeating the same routines being rounded up, and then theres the decrepit creatures up to well, I dont think they are on a stroll.... and I dont think theres ice cream at the end. Would not recommend as a spot to propose. Or a spot to see.. why are there kids still there right now?

Bandshell is great for free summer concerts. Located on the boardwalk near concessions and shop. Close by to mini golf, Shuffleboard, playground, restaurant, new games area and more. Great to go to boardwalk at night. No parking fee. Great breeze. Enjoy the boardwalk this summer. Look for the lineup of free concerts. Recently enjoyed Beatles tribute band.

Nice and July 4rth celebrations are awesome.

Im wondering why the concrete at the top of the bandshell was never updated or cleaned. They spent tons of money on zip lines, jungle gyms, free sunscreen, etc..., but they cant spruce up the bandshell. It looks old & dirty.

We had a great time

At Jones Beach. We used to go to line dancing about once a week during the summer, but then the Powers That Be decided it wasnt profitable. After many line dancers wrote letters requesting the line dancing to return, they gave the line dancers three evenings this summer.

Better line up when BAB was running it. 2017 shows leave a lot to be desired. Maybe 3-4 shows worth the trip.

Decent facility. When I visited the water was rough and cold, not ideal for swimming. Most people just tanned and hung out.

I hadnt been there in years. Its pretty much as i remember it. Quite clean, just some bottle caps and such in the sand, soft sand so it doesnt hurt your feet even if you step on them. The lifeguards are respectful and caring here, they kindly made sure people were swimming in the proper area for our safety. There has been a walkway laid down, to the beach, all the way down to behind the lifeguard stand, we could have brought a stroller for my 3 yr old and that would have been helpful had i known. We rented an umbrella for $10 with a $20 deposit. It was a lifesaver. There are people selling ice cream on the beach. The water was clean with no trash and i didnt see any jellyfish.

Four years ago this place was a family friendly place on Sundays, but not anymore.

Must plain love this place!

Its nice just no showers and very crowded you have to walk a good distance if you dont want to sit with the crowd
