Talented cast. Dancing is exceptional. Loved final scenes, singing was wonderful. Puts you in the spirit of the holiday!
They put on an excellent Christmas show, great outfits, singing and dancing troupe. The only downside was the audio in the facility was substandard and did not do justice to the vocal talents on stage. Im not sure what other shows they put on but would definitely recommend the Christmas event
Went to our first production yesterday of Christmas Time. Absolutely wonderful! A new family tradition! See you next year!
What an amazing theatre!! Casting was on point, bathrooms were tidy, and the layout made perfect sense. Definitely keeping an eye out for future shows here!
Run dont walk to catch their shows. Professional quality at great prices! A great mix of professional, semi professional, and amateur performers. Dont be deterred that they are in residence at the Robinson Theater in Waltham High School. A few years back the raised big bucks to beef up the back stage allowing them to fit Broadway size sets. Which they often use. Great live theater north of Boston in the burbs.
You need new event management. That was unbelievably negligent to let all those seniors go into that theater without informing people on the way in of the AC situation. Haven’t you been doing this for 50 years? People should have been informed of the AC situation and given the option for a voucher to a future show. Total failure on the part of Reagle and the High School. There is no reason not to have a contingency plan worked out for a situation like that, considering how long you’ve been at it. You should be thankful nobody died. I saw numerous very elderly folks with severe mobility issues have to leave in physical distress during the performance. Also, Waltham High School, you aught to be pretty embarrassed too.
The Sound of Music was an excellent show-Kudos to the cast, crew, etc. THAT SAID, what happened on Sunday afternoon was unconscionable. I have never witnessed such poor planning and mismanagement, nor such apathy concerning a very dangerous situation. The air conditioning broke down on Saturday, and on Sunday, the auditorium was an absolute sauna. There was not one sign or word of warning to the audience members arriving that this was the situation, and most assumed that once the lobby doors closed, improvement would follow. The environment was dangerous, especially considering that the majority of the audience was elderly, and some disabled. Many people had to leave before the show ended, and just in the row behind us, two elderly women became ill and were helped out by companions.Management was totally unprepared and apathetic. The show should probably have been cancelled. Barring that, patrons should have been clearly informed of the situation upon arrival and given the option of a refund or credit. Were there no large fans available from the school system or an equipment rental company? That might have made it just slightly more bearable. Not only was there no bottled water and ice made available and offered for free, even after several patrons suggested it, but even the bottled water for sale had run out by intermission. Patrons were telling staff that they needed to send someone out for more water; it did not happen.I had spent $255.00 on tickets and brought two eighty-nine year old women to the show. When I spoke to a staff member sitting in the (air conditioned) office, far from being apologetic or concerned, with a pouty face, he asked me, “How do you think the cast feels?” followed by, “If you want to complain, complain to the school department; we’re their guests.” Great public relations! Needless to say, I was far from the only person questioning and complaining. For an organization that has been in operation as long as Reagle has, there was no excuse for the way this was handled. They are fortunate that nobody died of heat stroke. And to have the director hop up onstage for ten seconds as the audience was exiting and offer an impromptu, lighthearted thanks/apologywas far too little too late.
What a surprise to find such a professional production at a local venue, Waltham. Mame was positively delightful. The actors, singers, and dancers were ALL first rate. Dont miss it.
When we learned that the theatre was in a high school, we were a little bit sceptical about the quality of the show, but we bought tickets anyway because it had good reviews. We are so glad we did! We saw LA Cage Aux Folles. It was very funny and well acted. What a great time!!
We saw La Cage and it was wonderful. Broadway talent made the show incredible. James Darrah was spot on . His voice, stage presence and the nuances he added to Zsa Zsa was pure genious. He made I am what I am his own original anthem to his role. I have seen two shows at Reagle and have not been disappointed. Live theater at its finest.
Saw Tribute to Rat Pack. Very good. Reagle is very comfortable, plenty of free parking. Good take at reasonable cost.
Very gay friendly. Staff are nice
Quality professional production of Cole Porters Anything Goes. The acting, singing and dancing were excellent. Most of the actors graduated from Boston Conservatory. The 16-piece orchestra members are top notch professional musicians. The accoustics and sound engineering were very good in the large auditorium in Waltham High School. Lizzys ice cream for sale at intermission added to the enjoyable evening, as did the ample free parking. Bravo to the Reagle Musical Theatre!
There was no air conditioning on one of the hottest days of the week, for a three hour operformance. Probably was out of their control, but a heads up to ti ket holders might have given the many senior adults present time to better prepare for the situation.
Professional music theater presented in a large high school auditorium. Maybe not the most elegant venue, but its whats on stage that matters and $65 gets you the best seats in the house. Actors of course are micd, but sound is good and views unobstructed everywhere in the house. Performers are a mix of local talent and ringers; you honestly cant tell which is which. Costuming is first rate. As for the audience, some come dressed up for an elegant night out, others are clearly come-as-you-are.
Great variety of shows and very helpful and polite staff
Have gone 3 timesNever disappointed. Very professional. Fantastic actors. Huge, air conditioning, parking lot is big.
Terrific theater venue and great shows throughout the season. These guys really put the extra effort in. And its right here in Waltham!

If you enjoy Christmas Christmas Time is a must! Fantastic in every way. The ending is superb, as they refuse to bow and bow to baby Jesus.
Great food .great service.
Well done. Irish variety show, March 15, 2019.
Beautiful Christmas family concert. Traditional Christmas carols and hymns.
It looks so professional for a community theater
Great local talent and very comfortable seats.
Theater is nice and air conditioned. Great shows here.
Older large theater attached to a school. Nice seating, but bathrooms are very limited.
Professional quality theater in the burbs. More convenient and conventional than North Shores theatre-in-the-round.
I have been going for many years. It is like being in New York city on BROADWAY. I LOVE EVERYTHING.
Reasonably-priced tickets for well-produced shows.
The production was great. Left there with a smile.
Attended Eastern Show Choir festival. Great venue, nice people.
