I have seen quite a few shows here, much more convenient that going to The City. This is a great venue for live performances. A former roommate of mine had a guitar show here one evening with a friend of his.I have seen a few musicals here, I think the last one I saw here was a mix of several musicals. Went to a great guitar concert here.

I have gone there before and seen some very good performances but yesterday the performance was sold out it was a 90-minute show with no late seating and my understanding is that since I was there at the box office they could have sold me a ticket particularly since I am in the theater community and I have proof of that. I was told I could go upstairs and watch the show on the TV screen which was very poorly colored however I think I was able to get most of the script as well as most of the music but its certainly not the same as seeing a live performance and because I came on BART with all the delayed trains and excessive daily threatening violence it was a very negative experience particularly since the day before when I called the box office I was told there were 12 tickets left and I got there by 1:50 pm for a 2:30 pm show. I know people in the theater world who wont even go there anymore because theyve been badly treated so Im not the only one. They should be like Berkeley Rep and have stools in the back for standing-room people and not release them until the day of the sold out performance. Plus if they have a no late seating policy for a 90-minute show why not just sell the tickets belonging to people not there by starting time and/or release them to the theater community.

Nice theatre, signage seemed a bit sparse. Not sure if this was just during construction it a regular thing. We were in the small theatre near the ticket office. It is a bit cramped upon first arrival but felt cozy during the play. Performers did a good job of including those of us on the small side of the stage. Several folks around us commented on the general seating as they too thought they had purchased assigned seats. Would definitely go again as I now know what to expect.

Its a beautiful place to visit, the employees are always friendly and helpful, and they always have the coolest shows. Its worth the visit. The bonus is all the great restaurants in the area to enjoy before!

I was really surprised how cozy this theater is. Even from the balcony theres a good view of the stage. I was here for Police Cadet Graduation and we could see everything. I look forward to seeing a production here someday.

Some current remodel going on outside, but venue was nice; sound, seating, and views all good. Venue was clean and comfortable.

The Lesher Center for the Arts is a great resource for the Walnut Creek community. They seem to continuously host interesting events and artists. Definitely worth checking out. It is close to the Walnut Creek Bart.

Great place to see a play. Wonderful staff & no matter where your seats are, it will he good. Pleanty of restaurants near by to catch a nice meal before/after the show.

Have attended this fundraiser for the arts for 10 years. First class and fun event.

The Lesher center is a wonderful small venue with multiple theaters. Weve always come to expect quality performances there.However, last night the Roy Orbison tribute left much to be desired. The lead singer was off key much of the time. The other musicians were very good. In particular, the lead female backup singer was excellent. She did a solo performance of 2 Patsy Cline songs that left us wishing she was the lead.

Just watched The Devils Music life and times of Bessie Smith. Was WONDERFUL!!

Easy to get to, Downtown Walnut Creek, with parking structure right next door. Several theaters, many venues. I went to the 3rd of a series of jazz conserts and it was fabulous. Great enthusiast crowd of music lovers, helpful and attentive staff. Lesher also has inside a separate museum with many different venues and artists works. During summer they have kids programming. Many shows from plays, conserts, musicals, you name it, they host it

We are so lucky to have a place like the Lesher Center in our city. Ive seen many different plays hear and the quality is superb in every way. The talent they acquire are professionals and bring a joy to the stage that is infectious. The stage crew does a great job. Having a live Orchestra there for the music adds an element that just rounds out the experience.

Wonderful place to a catch a show in town. Their production of A Christmas Carol is excellent, although some parts were hard to hear sitting at the balcony. The Bedford Gallery is also worth a visit inside. Easily accessible from Walnut Creek BART or the free downtown shuttle.

Very friendly staff, small theater personalized for small, intimate venues. Shows similarly oriented. First class shows in a town setting.

One of my favorite places in Walnut Creek. They have amazing shows. We saw the Christmas Carol there and it was by far one of the best Ive seen. They also partner with schools to provide interactive theatre. Love the whole space, very comfy seats and easy to get to. Love they also have art exhibits from time to time and they are very welcoming. This is a true gem. Easy parking too and very kid friendly.

Lesher Center provided a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. The building is very nice and parking is very convenient. Clean venue, courteous employees, very laid back.I deducted 1 star because the setup to purchase refreshments before the show wasnt done well. Two stations and the lines were 30 people deep each. One person at each location making a variety of mixed drinks taking 4-5 minutes per transaction. My wife only wanted a water and if I would have waited in line I would have missed a lot of the show and this isnt an exaggeration!Fix the drinks setup with 2 more employees and it would be great.

Great location in downtown Walnut Creek. They have sparkling lights on the trees and the whole place is warm and inviting. Parking in the public garage is usually covered by a small fee for events. Restaurants are in walking distance. Great evening.

A wonderful community and City supported Arts Center housing 3 theaters and an art gallery. A wonderful variety of performances are presented here from live music to live theater.

My family and I have been here several times for various performances. The theater is attractive, clean and the staff have always been helpful and friendly. Theres a parking garage nextdoor and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

We had a super time visiting santa and Mrs C with our Granddaughter.

Saw the production of West Side Story. Wonderful intimate theater. Great seats no matter where you sit. Staff was exceptional. Only down side $14 for a small mixed drink.

The Center may be small, but the performance was emense. Nicely done!

Great community theater with a typical theater seating arrangment and a small balcony seating area. There is a neat art gallery downstairs which costs 5 dollars to explore. The alcohol served during showtimes is on the pricey side but reasonable when compared to community prices in general.

Gem of the East Bay. Wonderful programming, great facility (clean, newish), easy parking. Better than Walnut Creek probably deserves, but a tremendous resource for the entire East Bay.

A great theater in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek California. Surprisingly deep talent for such a provincial town. I have seen several shows here and not been disappointed.

I saw West Side Story the seating is comfortable the play was excellent and well done I had a lovely time oh and the coffee was good to I parked in the garage and enjoyed an Italian meal across the street I showed them my ticket and they made sure I got out on time there are four restaurants walking distance in the very beautiful downtown area that honor the Lesher tickets to be sure your on time

Always a delightful experience from parking to grabbing a bite downtown right after the show. Plenty of helpful and friendly staff help you on your way with concessions to your seat. A must visit Center for all ages.

The Center charged $100 for the Bebe Neuwirth Show. There was no production value. The sound was echoing like a school auditorium. The show was only 75 minutes. This was real community theater and not up to professional standards...

Beautiful theater. Center Rep has outstanding shows. I have enjoyed many, many great performances at the Lesher.

Well designed theaters, convenient parking and best of all, it has a fantastic little art gallery in the lobby to browse before the show. Same day show tickets will get you free admission to the gallery and I am always amazed at the quality, creativity and uniqueness of the artwork they display.

Ive seen shows here and Ive done shows here with YoungRep. Its such a warm environment and the employees are very friendly dly as well as helpful. Its a very very nice theatre in my opinion, and I have enjoyed every second that I am there whenever I AM there.
