We are in Walla Walla for 3 days doing wine tastings, and Foundry was by far our favorite wines and experience. Every wine we tried was delicious. I’ve done wine tasting trips before, but had never joined a wine club. All 3 of us joined their wine club.Katie was our server- she was excellent and knowledgeable. The outdoor space is lovely and very large. Beautiful sculptures throughout the patio and winery. They have a lot of locally made goods to buy- jewelry, food items etc.The wine tastings we had after going to Foundry were somewhat disappointing, so maybe save it for last.
Avery fun winery with some astounding art. We enjoyed seeing all the different mediums of their art gallery and can’t wait to go back for one of their wine and art events! The selection of wine is wonderful and it’s very easy to get lost in your favorite glass while viewing through the gallery. The outdoor tasting room is very welcoming in fair weather as well!
Really unique and delicious wines! I loved being able to taste multiple Pet Nats (natural sparkling wines) and was especially impressed with the whites as well. Highly recommend having a tasting in the sculpture garden -it was a beautiful atmosphere! Very enthusiastic staff too -highly recommend!
Four of us went to the Foundry for a wine tasting and had one of the best experiences we have ever had at a winery!! Not only was the wine amazing but our host, Katie, was one of the most fun and knowledgeable people we could ever have had! On top of that, she handled the COVID-19 situation perfectly! We felt totally safe but she was still warm and we felt welcome!10 star experience!! Well done Katie and Foundry Vineyards!
Walla Walla Steak Company was honored to to be asked to provide our culinary touches to your winemakers dinner last night. Thank you for asking us to be a part of it.
One of the best wineries in the Walla Walla area, and a very cool pairing with the art gallery at this location!
Very friendly staff, beautiful art and they are dog friendly!
Wonderful! Gorgeous location and amazing wine!
Even for someone (like me) not super educated on wine, the Foundry is a really lovely tasting room. The staff is friendly and approachable, and one who has done a couple tastings for me—I think her name is Katie?—is always ready to expand my palette even when I’m just hanging out reading a book at the bar. Plus, there’s a gorgeous art gallery and a fabulously curated gift shop; all told, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
Where to start! Fabulous Heather and Natalie were so, so wonderful! Started with bubbles and moved on down the line. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and FUN. Loved this place...including the wine! A must experience.
Natalie was a lovely hostess, she shared lots of info about Foundrys wines as well as hikes in the local are! We caught the kinetic sculpture on a perfectly windy day which made for some dramatic photos. Overall a great experience
Had a great time at the Foundry. Great wine and friendly service. It was the first wine tasting location that Ive been to that had an art exhibit. Snacks and drinks were served at the exhibit which was a great complimentary service.
There are so many tasting rooms to choose from in the Walla Walla valley, yet I always find myself back at the Foundry. They have a wonderful variety of wines to taste and buy from, not to mention at reasonable prices. They also have art exhibits that they cycle quarterly which displays pieces by local artists, and I enjoy coming in to new exhibits every few months. Best of all is the service. Sometimes tasting rooms can have a pretentious feeling, but the employees at the Foundry are so knowledgeable while staying on your level and explaining blends and tasting notes in a relatable and understandable way. 10/10 would recommend a trip to the Foundry if youre looking for an enjoyable tasting experience.
My husband and I held a welcome dinner here at the beginning of our destination wedding weekend. Everything about the venue and the evening was absolutely perfect! Lisa was wonderful to work with while planning the event -- she was always very responsive via email, she had great recommendations/ideas, and she and the Foundry staff did an incredible job setting up all of the furniture and decor. All of the Foundry staff was so friendly and they were a great help in selecting our wine for the event. Foundry Vineyards has a great selection of wine! We really enjoyed visiting Foundry for wine tastings whenever we were in town. The venue itself is so unique and beautiful, from the art gallery indoors to the patio with incredible sculptures. We had a taco truck for our dinner that parked right inside the patio, as well as a band that played under the patios awning. We are very grateful to Lisa and the other Foundry staff for a memorable evening!
Amazing wine and art!!!! Sooooo many good things to say about Foundry Vineyards!!!
My favorite tasting room in Walla Walla! The wines were amazing. The tasting menu had 5 wines, but we tasted 7, all of which were great. My favorites were the Syrah Rosé, the 2015 Cabernet Franc, and the 2014 Artisan Blend. During the tasting our wonderful hostess Natalie gave us a tour of the gallery and the sculpture garden. They have a collection of sculptures made at the Walla Walla Art Foundry outside on the beautiful patio, and they had an art show in the gallery space. I would love to attend an event there. The service was phenomenal, everyone was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. It was great wines, an interesting space, and a fun experience. Thanks Foundry Vineyards!
Great tasting room, mostly due to the gallery and outdoor sculpture garden. Fantasic spot to host events as well. Ive been to a few parties there and the outdoor area is well suited to mingling with a large group of guests.
Great wine, cool art. Lovely staff.
Art brings joy & wine brings joy - this place is my double happy place!
Great combination of art and wine. Met a group of friends from high school here for remembering and fun. Great atmosphere.
Excellent place to taste some great wines, carry on a conversation with the pleasant staff, and theres always some amazing art to hang out with.
Friends and I drove 3 hours because all the information on their website, including their Facebook page, stated that they were open on Sunday. We were hoping to see Ai WeiWeis work and were VERY DISAPPOINTED to find after a 3 hour drive theyre werent actually open.Theyre only open Friday and Saturday !!!!
This winery is the best in Washington State!
The hours online arent real! Its open only on Fridays and Saturdays, even though everywhere online said it was open Thursday through Sunday from 11-5, even their Facebook page! We drove three hours just to see their exhibit on a Sunday, and are so sad. Heartbreak city population: us. Boooooooooo
Great wines great experience.
