We had such a fun time at Scary Strokes! The customer service is phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The mini-golf was fun and perfect for kids (and adults). The small venue is great for game choices and we felt very safe with masks, sanitizer, and social distancing.Such a great experience and we are looking forward to coming back soon!

A pretty fun spot for kids and families to spend a few hours. Not very big but well arranged so everyone can move around without feeling cramped. Small but decent selection of video games that includes a really neat VR play area for the older kids. The glow golf is simple but fun. All in all I would return but not sure how many times we could go before it became boring. The best description is a mini golf meets a small arcade.

This was our first visit and we weren’t too sure what to expect. Right away we were extremely impressed by how clean everything is, the staff were constantly going around and cleaning off the arcade machines and were friendly. Putt putt was so much fun, all of the decorations and the paintings on the walls were very well done. If you are looking to spend an afternoon out with the family this is the place. We can’t wait to go back!

Great mini golf, fantastic VR arcade, kind of wish the plays were longer. About a buck per minute of play. The vr is worth the price, lots of fun.

This place was big, colorful and fun the kids and adults loved it. I think the games were reasonably priced, the vr game room was great, and they had a Big Space Invaders Game which was awesome. I didnt try the food, but my s po n said it was ok. It was clean and not crowded. Thanks, for such a fun, family time. We will be back. Hopefully I get a big discount for this free endorsement. This places is a scam!!! Never been here and had to get new cards of course, put $22 in the machine to get 2 cards($10 a piece on them) just for the machine to only spit one $10 card out. The “manager” said well if you want another $10 card you will have to pay the $10 again!!!

We went for mini golf and to check out the arcade and VR available. It was stress free fun course. 18 holes of fun looking characters. There are music videos and TVs. If its crowded there are seats at each area. They have up to date games and new VR. Next time we will probably try the games and VR out. The GM is super nice and informative. We will definitely be back! I would suggest birthday parties here for younger people. Its a very nice set up. Its located behind the area of Silver Diner.

Not quite what I had expected from the name. Turns out to be an arcade with an indoor golf course for kids and has a couple of virtual game rooms that are available and well worth the time/cost; you will have fun no matter your age. Take the time and stop in and check it out, you wont regret it.

OMG ITS SO FUN! My bf and I went on 6/21/20 to have a date now that the world is opening back up & we were so happy this place was open.It exceeded my expectations really. The golf course was a good length, the arcade games have a nice variety and the VR is an EXPERIENCE When we went there was a white guy with glasses who helped us the most & let me tell you he’s just amazing. He clearly enjoys his job, he has great banter, he’s really funny & a good salesman.Everyone working- young black girl getting trained, black guy with an orthodox haircut/ponytail combo & the guy previously mentioned were all in an excellent mood about their work (even tho it was empty inside lol) and that made the experience so much better. I really hope they catch more traction & get more business

Its a nice put-put (glow in the dark) golf experience. The art work spray painted on the walls shouldnt be over looked. Someone deserves some serious credit for that art work.

Me and my lady went here about a week ago(kid free night). Thought it was just for kids but we enjoyed ourselves on the course. We were surprised by how late they stay open. Definitely a cool little date night for something different.

My boys and I love this place for indoor mini golf. Fun decor reminds us of the Hotel Transylvania cartoons. Newer arcade games inside also. Not much of a selection on food. I suggest eating somewhere else before u go. Still a good spot for a fun afternoon when u need some indoor fun.

Very clean and friendly atmosphere! Our family of four had a great time and moved quickly through all 18 holes. Plus we were jamming to the music playing in the background too! Very welcoming environment for all ages and we will indeed return again. We chose here to do something with our kids on our 21st wedding anniversary instead of finding a sitter and going out. The price was fair for all four of us, as my husband is a veteran and they gave us a discount. Even with a lot of people there tonight, we didnt have hold ups in getting putters, getting through the course or finishing up. Thanks for a memorable family evening!

Kids had fun happy to say. I do recommend eating before you come, Food is expensive no good package deals except a slice and a drink. I wish they had package deals like chuck or cheese pizza that comes with drinks but it’s sold separately.

Very quiet on this Sunday afternoon.The mini golf was all par 3 and should not be too challenging, even for a young player.Two holes had mystery spinners that added a wheel of fortune style twist... more of that would be welcome.Arcade section had a few interesting games and air hockey

Spacious, clean, and well maintained. Lots to do, including a VR FPS experience for grownups. The in-house pizza is better than most Ive had at these types of venues.

Indoor mini golf with a unique black light theme. The course is not very challenging but is fun none the less. The prices are a bit high but not out of reach. The arcade has a modest selection and we found $20 didn’t last 20 minutes, but the kids had fun. Over all it has potential and the kids had a good time on a cold December night. It’s the only real putt putt in town so they have no real competition. The staff was friendly. They do have a snack stand but didn’t get a chance to try it out.

They also have many arcade games and lots of cool things you can win afterwards. I recommend you bring your whole family to enjoy this superb place. You will not regret!

Amazing golf. Well themed. Friendly staff. Didnt try the food, but seemed to have the usual pizza, popcorn, or hot dog selections, along with candy and chips. Arcade was a little sparse, but had a good variety of games. The scary spinners on two of the holes made for a fun twist on the usual golf game, and they have deck of cards to do these twists on all of the holes to make the game different every trip.

My son had a very fun evening here. Tons of games and mini golf - food is offered as well. I have never seen such reasonable prices at a place like this for kids. Instead of going to chuck e cheese and spending $100+, we came here and were quick to realize how much money we saved for an equal amount of fun for my boy.

Location is terrible, but well worth finding. Miniature golf is always a fun time for adults, kids and family. They also have food service and some awesome game machines Also keep each golfing group at five or less. Being inside, space is at a premium.

Decent little spot, a little pricey but I guess I get it. Cute glow in the dark putt putt, but I felt rushed because you wait and others wait on you. You can do the course in an hour.

We have enjoyed this place 4 times so far! Our 6 year old loves the course, and our 9 year old likes to add challenges to each hole. The both love the arcade!

Ive actually never been but I sure do look forward to coming in. The selling point to me is the owner taking the time to engage with their customers in the review section. Small gestures like this say a lot about ownership and how far theyll go to deliver a good experience in order to build that business up. Kudos to the owner and I cant wait to go in and spend money. Will further review the experience after my visit.

Fun date night. All indoor golf so it was farely small. The neon lights were neat & the arcade had some unique fun games to play. Reasonably priced. Depends on what you want to do.

My experience at Scary Strokes was terrible. Upon arrival I payed for a Triple Play package which included virtual reality, mini-golf, and a arcade card. Mini-golf was fine but it was very hard to see the holes regardless of the glow and the dark theme. When it came time for the virtual reality, there was a wait time but that was fine. After noticing there was nobody in the VR I asked the front desk how it was organized so I can know when I go in. The manager on duty than decided to let me know that it was closed down for a party; but upon arrival 30 minutes earlier NOBODY/STAFF let me know that I couldn’t use the VR. I requested a refund for the VR and I was told “their system does not issue out refunds so I could get a voucher to come back.” As a customer that is unacceptable how there isn’t simple communication between staff and we were allowed to spend money on a service that was not available. On top of not being able to be issued a proper refund, the “voucher” we were being given to replace the virtual reality, there is a 60 day limit on the vouchers. This is HIGHLY Unacceptable and a huge disappointment of a evening. I hope this can be a lesson for owners to update “their systems” and hire proper communicating staff.

The mini golf was fun. Music was too loud at times. The arcade is minimal. The VR gaming that is coming soon has potential. What would be a great match up for Scary Strokes would be laser tag. Overall this place has a lot of potential.

Fun for the family!!! Love the themed putt putt course... arcade games bright and colorful for my youngest son. Overall it’s a small fun places that’s not overly crowd with people and kids.

The price for golf is not too bad. The course is a full 18 holes which is nice. I feel like the course could be a bit more challenging and have more variety in obstacles. It is also a bit too dark in there. Very easy to trip on things and its hard to see anything that does not glow under the black lights. A little more light where you tee off at each hole would help a great deal. Maybe a light that shines down put at knee level would give off enough ambient light to help out.

Had a lot of fun playing mini golf with my family! We took lots of pictures along the course with the different pros and obstacles. We had a really great time. I recommend going.

I attended a kids birthday party here. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The kids enjoyed the course and arcade games. A host was assigned to the group to take the kids golfing. He did magic tricks for the kids after everyone sang Happy Birthday. The kids enjoyed that too. Scary Strokes is a cool family night experience.

This is a cool place to go when you need to get the kiddos out of the house. It has a glow in the dark element that makes younger kids excited. Most of the holes arent that difficult. The arcade is nice as well. Its not quite on par with Monster Mini Golf, but that is a pretty long drive. My kids enjoyed themselves, so thats all that matters.

Played it yesterday with my 9-year-old granddaughter and it was great fun! The course was laid out with delightfully spooky features and obstacles. The course itself is very sturdy and extremely well-maintained. The black light and florescent artwork lent an other-worldly tone to the play and the course moved quickly for us as we completed 18 holes in about an hour. We played some of the (also well-maintained) arcade games afterwards and enjoyed that too. We were surprised to find such OC Boardwalk-level fun in Waldorf, but there it is! Well be back soon.

Golf was fun and they had an arcade. Sort of wish they had more games there. Didn’t get any food but the staff there seemed they didn’t want to be bothered anyways. The guy at the front desk was friendly.

Neat little place its sad to see these types of places dont get used like they did years ago. Friday evening only 1 other group of people.help these guys stay in business and take yours kids for a pretty fun round of mini golf . Also plenty of games to play as well.

Fantastic experience! We went there on my moms birthday on 13th of Jan and had a blast. The guy who was working Im pretty sure hes the manager was extremely friendly. The golfing was loads of fun even the arcade was loads of fun. We will be back definitely.

Really unusual theme for mini golf. It was really neat and definitely under-visited. We had a great time. More people need to check out this place!! The arcade games were all clean and working. The bathroom was also clean.

The blacklight putt putt is great. The games are a pretty expensive and the selection is small. Would definitely go back for the putt putt, skip the games.

It was my birthday and this was the perfect place to spend the afternoon--out of the summer heat. I had a great time. I have been to some other glow golf type places, but this knocked the experience out of the park. You guys have such quality decor! The 18-hole course was challenging, but fun. Will definitely be back.

Went there today for a family, Sunday fun-day...We had so much fun, after we finished our game, after the kids got to play in the little arcade that they have. The person who helped us out was SO nice! We will definitely will be back!

Place was great except that the arcade machines were not that well kept. Many of them hasmd cracks in the buttons or other problems. But other than that place was amazing!

My husband and I went here as part of our all day date. We went at opening 4pm on a week day and we practically had the whole place to ourselves! The lady working there greeted us with a warm welcome and handshake. The black light mini golf was really cool. It was a small arcade but still fun.

Scary Strokes is located off Berry Rd., behind the Residence Inn by Marriott. I took my granddaughters to Scary Strokes today for the glow in the dark miniature golf and games. They had so much fun! I really enjoyed not being outside in the heat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will return.

We came to the area from out of town for the weekend. Trying to find something for everyone to enjoy was our goal and our family had a blast. We had a great time playing golf. My favorite part was the games. Highly recommended for a fun night out with the kids or for a date.

A couple of more games and itll be perfect. (I have a 2 and 7 year old, both boys loved it.)

Took my husband here for his birthday a few weeks ago. We had a blast with the triple play. Food was mediochre, but thats to be expected. Really the only criticism is that the walls are so close to the edges of each hole that it is nearly impossible to hit the ball when it is next to the edge.

My girlfriend and I went here for a Saturday night date. There was a short wait for the mini golf, so we began playing some of the arcade games before we teed off. The course was more challenging than I was expecting due to the size, but it was an enjoyable game. We continued on with the games after that. They dont have a huge selection to choose from, but the games they do have are fun, and really make you want to continue trying in order to hit the jackpot. Didnt get a chance to try the food as we had already eaten beforehand, but I hope to on my next visit. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was relaxed, and it was a very family friendly environment. Totally recommend you check it out.

Very nice place for a family outing. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. My 5 year old loved the place and had a great time and the baby really liked the lights.

I had a lot of fun here. There are about 18 holes I believe. Of course they get more challenging, but in a fun way. The setting isnt scary for an adult, maybe for a kid because its dark, but its a fun time. You feel a little rushed though when people are right behind you. They have a couple of games here, like basketball and space invader. I like it.
