My daughter has been progressing so well. She loves coming to class weekly and has become so confident in her abilities. This is one of the best investment into my child. Seeing her growth let’s me know I will be at ease when we take our next family vacation... thank you to each teacher she has has. I’m looking forward to seeing her go further .

The teacher are good. Facility is clean. But one of our son’s was attending for months, he had improved but yet wasn’t moved to the next level. Finally, we brought it to the head swim teachers attention & she advanced him. Isn’t it their job to pay attention to our child’s level & when you advance? Then once he advanced we had to reschedule the lessons. At the desk, they told us that the next week we would keep the same schedule, but the following week we would change to the new time. Well, the next week we got there & we weren’t on the schedule. That day my husband sat at the desk, confirmed that we had the next weeks lesson at 11:00. He put it in his calendar & confirmed verbally 2x with them. Well, the next week rolls around, we show up with our 2 eager boys ready to swim & they had us down for the wrong time. Then they said “didn’t you get the email confirming your time”. If we confirmed the time 2x verbally in their presence, why should we have to check the email? The front desk obviously has not been inputting things correctly into the computer & it is very disappointing. We will be pulling our children from goldfish since they can’t get it together.

We love the Goldfish Swim School! My son has been enrolled since he was 7 months old. He’s 3 now and in the Junior 1 class. We live by a pond, so water safety is of the utmost importance to our family. The primary aim for the babies and toddler age is to get them familiar with the feel of the water and teach them the basics of water safety. Our little guy is not swimming like a fish yet, but we are on our way to success and he LOVES attending every week.

These swim lessons are very helpful in making my grandson become independent. The instructors are very professional and patient. They encourage the children to be courageous.

You guys are doing great! Kids are spaced out, chairs are being cleaned, and everyone is wearing a mask!

I am AMAZED at how well my daughter has taken to swimming, and the progress she’s made in the short time we’ve been coming to Goldfish. We had her in swim lessons at a different place previously and it was a battle. She’s been nothing but smiles at Goldfish and looks forward to coming each week. It is an incredibly well organized and well run service. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The instructors are consistent in attendance, good at their jobs and communicate well. My children are progressing faster than they have with other similar swimming programs.

WE LOVE GOLDFISH SWIM SCHOOL IN WAKE FOREST!!! The facility is super clean, kid friendly, absolutely everything you could want and more in a swimming school. The greatest part of the whole experience is the staff. The staff here will make your child feel so special and safe. They have by far exceeded all of my expectations and more! We travel 45 minutes from Durham to Wake Forest to this location three times a week because it is the highlight of my daughter’s day to learn how to swim. I give them three stars. The instructors are engaging and fun, and if only for them, they would get FIVE. But due to policies, I am giving them a 3. My son was scheduled for Saturday classes. Knowing we would be out of town one weekend, I wanted to schedule a makeup class- however, you cannot schedule a make up class, or even reschedule one lesson, until it has already occurred. This will result in my child going one full week without a lesson because their policy is ridiculous. I realize this may not be a big issue for many, but it seemed crazy to me, that I couldnt re-schedule my sons class for earlier in the week.EDIT: The Manager of Goldfish called me following this review to discuss. Apparently somehow lines got crossed, but you CAN reschedule within that week. I changed my 3 stars to a 5 stars, because I realize that mistakes can happen, but the fact she called to talk it out means a lot. Kudos to the manager for being proactive and very helpful.

My kids love going there, all swim coaches have been great. Front desk team is always ready to help. It’s nice that we can make up any lesson we miss. Open swim is perfect for practicing in between lessons. Most importantly, my kids can now swim! We started the last week in March, my daughter wouldn’t even get her face wet, and now she swims, jumps in, and truly enjoys pool days without floaters! My son couldn’t swim the width of the pool, now he is in Pro 1! Thank you Goldfish Wake Forest!

I am so impressed with how much my older son has improved during his lessons at Goldfish. Really impressive change! And my younger son was very nervous to start but the staff and his instructors were SO amazing with him! He quickly learned to really enjoy coming for swim lessons too! Absolutely loved the experience here!!

My daughter is 4 years old and have literally wasting money with swimming lessons. I called Gold Fish and asked for 101. They were so confident to say my daughter would be fine at the normal classes and they were right. She is a beginner and her instructor is Mr Ashton. I cant praise him enough. She loves it and Mr Ashton.The best part is the facilities. Pool is the warmest I have been. Have tried Lifetime in Cary and Raleigh, also Buffaloe and Optimist and Goldfish is by far the best one.Also would like to mention Bella. She is almost everyday during the family Swim Times and she always offers toys to the kids. And Maddie I think, she was fast to get a kid safe (whose mother wasnt watching her...)We have been using the pool during the family Swim Times and in 3 weeks my daughter is swimming without any floating aid or help.All the reviews here are true! Thanks Goldfish!

I love that they are always in the water. Other schools have them playing for 15 min of a 30 min session and parks and rec’s ratios are too high.

Our goal was to get our boys comfortable in water and to know the basics of how to swim in case they are ever in a situation that requires it without assistance. That goal was not only met, but they truly enjoy swimming and know a lot more than the basics. The facility is also clean and well maintained. The staff from the front desk to the instructors are welcoming, patient, have fun and love what they do. We look forward to continuing open swim and other camps through Goldfish. Thank you for such a great experience!

I ABSOLUTELY love Goldfish Swim School. I am in the parent/child class and it is so much fun seeing her learn more each class. The facility is clean and everyone is so welcoming. Our teacher is Emma. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is SO good with all the kids and so patient with them. Even though my daughter is only two, she gets so excited to see Emma. She is always so happy and ready to teach. It makes me feel so good as a parent to see how great she is and how interactive she is. I cannot say enough good things about Goldfish, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Ive been taking my 6 year old daughter to Goldfish for only a couple months, but her increased ability and confidence in the water has been amazing. The instructors are great. There are snacks available for purchase, changing rooms, hair dryers and the waiting area is comfortable. The best part is they make learning to swim really fun for the kids. Cant wait for our first summer without water wings!

The Instructors have made our kids feel so comfortable in the water and make the lessons really fun! They give great feedback and encourage the kids on what they need to be working on constructively. The dressing area is convenient and makes it easy for us to move on to our next activity!

We really love Goldifsh! All of the staff is incredibly nice, attentive and helpful. Instructors all actively take an interest in their students and their progress. The heated pool makes swim lessons easy to attend year round. Facilities are always very clean. They have lots of special events and prizes each lesson for the kids. Cannot recommend enough!

We love this place. Everyone is friendly the instructors are incredible. My son went from terrified of the water to actively participate in the lesson after only 2 weeks.

This place is amazing! If you come for family swim its $10 for adults but caps at $15, so never pay more than $15. They throw a ton of fun toys into the pool and have two lifeguards on duty. The pool area is nice and warm, the water is warm too so little ones dont get cold while they play.

We love Goldfish Swim School so far! Everyone is so nice, and the swim instructors make lessons so much fun and engaging for our little one every week. The facility is always clean, and we really feel it is a safe environment! We just couldnt be happier with GFSS! Thanks so much for all of the special care that goes into treating us like family every time we come in!

We really enjoy our lessons at Goldfish. The the staff is incredible. They are all so friendly and pleasant to be around. Our son, who is only 3 months old, is becoming very comfortable in the water. And he sleeps so well after lessons. We definitely recommend Goldfish!

Goldfish Swim School is the best swimming lesson program we have ever experienced! The instructors are knowledgeable and put the children at ease. They learn quickly with the Goldfish method. The facility is extremely clean and welcoming. We wont go anywhere else!

Fun and relaxed tiki themed facility. Staff has been great from day 1. Learning to swim can be a bit scary for a kid but they have made it so easy for my child to get more comfortable in the water. She looks forward to her swim lessons and she loves the people here.

The location is gorgeous. I will start by saying that. However my daughter’s birthday party just felt very rushed. I’ve waited awhile to put this review up. It’s been 5 months and it still bothers me. There’s one manager there who seems extremely nice however she didn’t host our party which was a bummer. I needed extra invitations and was told by the main manager (a lady) that I would have to pay an extra $20. The party was already well over $550 and food isn’t included. (Which I think is ridiculous) Ironically when I spoke to someone else they told me there wouldn’t be a charge and she gave them to me with no questions asked. I’m very confused as to why there was a discrepancy. We weren’t members but I specifically asked if there’s a difference in price for non members and was told no. So it’s not like that’s the reason I was told that information. We wanted to sign up but after the way the party went down I decided not to. Like I said, the place is gorgeous. Very clean. The one manager just didn’t seem very nice and I really don’t understand why I would have been overcharged for extra invitations when a completely different manager gave them to me at no cost. I even asked her whether or not it would be extra and she said “not at all since you already booked with us. They’re complimentary” Someone else’s experience may not be the same as mine. All I know is that ours was not a good one and I did NOT get my money’s worth.

Our family loves the GFSS open family swim times. The staff is so friendly and the owner is AMAZING! I watched many of the staff engage with parents and kids as they walked by them. The lifeguards are vigilent and engage with the kids in the water. The environment is clean, very welcoming and fun.

Love this swim school! Friendly and patient staff who understand the different stages of development, fun atmosphere, warm water to make my toddler comfortable, fun activities appropriate to his age level, easy access to showers, suit dryer, hair dryer. Plus, a balloon to go home with each week! Whats not to love!

Goldfish Swim has very professional staff, and is always adequately staffed. I love the atmosphere and the facility is always very clean and neat. My child has made so much progress since starting there. Thanks for all you do to make Goldfish of Wakefield a great business.

From the moment we walk in we are greeted each week with a friendly smile and most of the staff knows me and my kiddos! Our first session (January 24th) 2 of my 3 children I had signed up didnt get in the water at all and cried the entire time. The staffs patience with them was amazing - I kept waiting for them to tell us not to come back. They assured me they could handle it and were very encouraging. I now have (2) 4.5 year olds that can swim short distances independently, safely get out of the pool on their own, and float on their backs independently. My 2.5 year old has gained lots of confidence, can exit the pool independently, and swim with minimal assistance. I just cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They always have a lifeguard out of the pool during lessons scanning the area and they have once helped me recognize that while I was drying off 2 of my 3, that the 3rd had snuck back towards the pool and immediately came over to ensure her safety! Even the owners are friendly and down to earth. I highly recommend Goldfish and their program. They dont just group by age, but also by skill, and they allow the child to move up as soon as he/she is ready - no waiting until the next session or the childs next birthday. They challenge each child to excel and meet them on his/her skill and comfort level.„

My daughter had major anxiety about learning to swim, but after taking classes at Goldfish Swim School, she loves learning to swim. My son just completed the jumpstart program which consists of four lessons in a row. His teacher was Elijah who was awesome. He made good progress and had a smile on his face the entire time. The facility is clean and the staff are helpful.

Amazing indoor pool totally geared for kids. The staff was amazing, patient and a pure pleasure. My daughter cried when we had to leave. Glad we have something like this in the Wakefield and Wake Forest area now.
