Really cute place! They have an upstairs area with tables and chairs, great for working or studying. I took off a star because I did not like the taste of their hot chocolate but I know many people who love their other drinks. Would highly recommend stopping by.
The service was so friendly and the outside seating is perfect on a sunny morning. Excellent smoothie. Also the staff enforced masking and social distancing when a crowd (like more than a dozen) college age kids all came in together without masks. Thank you for keeping us all safe.
I love this site. It placed me a this wonderful coffee shop. I just walked by. Not to buy. Just passing by. This coffee shop is terrific. I have eaten their food and drank their coffee. It is satisfying. Please go.
I’ve gone to this coffee shop since the first day I moved here and I love it so much! It’s the perfect place to meet up with friends and if you want to study the top floor is usually quiet. Not only the coffee is great but the atmosphere is too! They do a really great job at supporting the community. They have works by different local artists set up along with some jewelry. I’ve bought 5 beautiful rings and two painted boxes that I love so much. They also allow people to host their groups or classes. So far I’ve seen an art class, a gaming group, and a stitching group but I’m sure there’s more! They also sell some of their products such as their milks, chai, coffee beans, and teas. I’ve bought oat milk, chai, and tea from there and they were all great!
Came in here looking for non-sugary Frappuccino like coffee. I saw different coffee beans in containers and thought I was able to order a pour over from there. Was told that drip coffee of the day was a Costa Rican blend. I went with it and it was decent but I do wish the coffee was brewed a lot stronger. The environment was definitely top notch and I loved a lot of the decor.
My fiance got the dirty chai with cinnamon and I tried the honey lavender latte. Both were really good. Quant little place with a beautiful upper art room. The gentleman working was very friendly and made the drinks fast. Thank you!
This place is a quintessential coffee shop- with Southern Charm and hospitality! We moved to the area in the middle of the pandemic- the owner gave us rolls of TP, hand sanitizer, lots of advice and a great cup of coffee! I don’t get to go by as much as I want now that school is in session- but today I went by and the owner realized just how much I NEEDED that latte this morning and it was on the house! You have gone out of your way so many times to bring more kindness and joy to this crazy world- even in just my small world, and I thank you so much for that!! You have a customer who will continually frequent your doors and send everyone your way for a great cup of coffee!
Couple of friendly, helpful gals behind the counter. Normal prices. Drink I got was delicious! And the space there is great.
They have, hands down, the best Pumpkin Spice Latte. I get it with oat milk. Its creamy and delicious and has just the right amount of pumpkin spice.
Cute place to chill and enjoy coffee or special lattes. Theres also a lot of incredible paintings they have for sell by local artists. Support local, its delicious.
Friendly, quaint, good seating outside, inside seating with an alternate upstairs sitting room. Nice place to just relax and enjoy a cup of coffee
On vacation went there everyday. great atmosphere, great coffee.
Cute local coffee spot in downtown Wake Forest. Their prices were reasonable and the drinks and bakery items were awesome. Bonus, theres used records to browse and buy!! Its definitely worth a visit.
Great little coffee shop in historic downtown Wake Forest. It has that friendly, artistic downtown vibe.
I just got back from meeting an old friend for coffee at WFCC. The owner was helpful translating my cafe au lait to a recipe for the young woman filling my order (who was also friendly and helpful). We had coffee and muffins outside on a beautiful day. Before leaving, we went inside to throw away our trash. When we turned around, a group of over a dozen teens--many without masks--had crowded into the restaurant. The owner immediately explained about masks and the the 6 rule, telling them that it would mean many of them would be waiting outside. It couldnt have been easy citing the rules to a large group of potential customers, but I was pleased this business prioritizes customer safety!
The matcha green tea latte is delish! Id post a photo but I drank it in a hearbeat!
Good place to get a cup of coffee, great atmosphere and service
Beautiful two story cafe, great workspace and deliciouz coffee and baked goods!
Such a fun, relaxing experience. Friendly staff, great coffee and pastries. The blueberry cream cheese danish is amazing. Everyone in WF should go.
A nice little coffee shop conveniently located on Main Street in Wake Forest. Stopped in for some coffee. The line was pretty long so it took a little longer to order. There is local artwork all over the store for you to look at and purchase if you like. I tried the Orange Mocha because it was a unique flavor combination that sounded delicious. The coffees were a bit pricey (most over $5 even for a small). My coffee wasnt super hot, which was a little disappointing on such a chilly day. But it was a rich coffee with a good amount of Orange flavor. Overall a decent experience and a cute little shop to visit every once in a while for something different.
Love the coffee and place (not the restrooms).
Friendly local place. Great coffee/tea.
Great coffee, friendly staff, lots of cool paintings by local artists on display/for sale.
Outstanding establishment love visiting there when Im in Wake Forest.
I had such a great time! The music and atmosphere were great!! The barista working there (Alex) was amazing, definitely added to the experience!!!
Very nice place to grab a drink or study. While it holds a very small town vibe, it does seem a little messy. The top floor is a good place to get work done or coordinate to host an event. The coffee isnt bad, definitely a place you come for the environment and the fact it is the only coffee shop around.
Our first time here was a little rough. Somehow they managed to leave the coffee out of all 3 coffee drinks that we ordered. I posted a 1-star review, and subsequently communicated with the owner, who was eager to make things right. We finally got a chance to go back this weekend, and Im pleased to say things were MUCH better. All 4 drinks did indeed have coffee in them this time, and the pastries were delicious, too. On top of that, the service was fast and attentive. Were looking forward to returning again sometime soon!
This place just sends great vibes, catchy music and scrumptious beverages. Specifically, our barista Alex was dope. She’s a real homie. 100/10 recommend.
A coffee shop I like to go to in order to sit and read, relax, or do homework. The coffee is very well done, the workers and baristas are polite and helpful with your order, and there are all sorts of board games and cool art posters all over the wall. Plus the shop sometimes has musicians who come in and play music. I enjoy my time every time I go and I recommend to both coffee enthusiasts and anyone else who wants to relax and unwind.
My new favorite coffee shop!!! I dont know why it took me so long to get here but Im so glad I checked it out! The raspberry white mocha is my new fav and the staff was equally awesome!!! Be sure to check it out!
Awesome little local coffee joint. Friendly staff and delicious drinks!
Still one of my favorite spots since our move to Wake Forest. Albert the owner is a Peach!! He is involved in the community and always makes you feel welcomed. I love the new comfy chairs! Oh, the coffee and treats are wonderful!
Fantastic coffee and friendly atmosphere
I visited this little quaint coffee shop on one of my outings with my daughter. The young lady who made my coffee and a hot chocolate drink for my daughter was very pleasant. The experience was good. The coffee was okay.
Great coffee and attentive service.
I stopped into this coffee shop while touring the town of wake forest. A similar lay out to many other coffee shops with friendly staff and unique offerings outside of what you would find in a coffee shop chain.I decided to purchase a strawberry and banana smoothie. They had quite an interesting selection of bakery goods and offered just about any cup of coffee you would expect to find in most coffee shops. It seemed to take longer than usual for a smoothie, but after receiving it I realized why it to longer than expected. The weight of this smoothie screamed sustenance, it was heavier and thicker than any smoothie I have purchased in chain like starbucks. The flavor was wonderful and the whipped cream on top made it that much better.I was a bit disappointed not to find any more causal seating, other than the two comfy chairs facing the windows. This is a great little coffee shop, I will return in the future.Cheers!
Great place to study and hang out with people!
Love the vibe here and great coffee & munchies! Awesome staff too.
Visited 3x while in town 1 week. Bali coffee was good, lady prepared a drop. Next time, Sumatra only available in French Press, which I liked even better. Also had a coffee to go from their thermos, more generic South American, still good.Nice chill atmosphere to study or do work. I didnt visit the art space upstairs. Small, one unisex restroom. They even got me a plastic bag to wrap my laptop to take to my car during a sudden rainstorm.
Nice relaxing atmosphere!
Great place for a small group meeting.
Great place! had a latte it was delicious
So conveniently located in the center of downtown Wake Forest. We sat outside until the sun ran us inside. Good coffee. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte and it was great. The service was super. Several folks were having coffee with others and some were just working on their laptops. A cool place to be in the hot summer!
Cute little coffee shop
A vibe. Foods not as good as Chick-fil-A tho
Perfect little artsy coffee shop!! Good coffee and scones and muffins! They have games and books and lots of art, comfortable chairs to sit in all day and do work! Check out the upstairs too!
The only coffee place to got to in Wake Forest, youre joking if you go anywhere else.
Small local shop with friendly folks and lots of cool arts pieces on the second floor.
Great coffee and fantastic service!
This is a nice spot for caffiene and conversation... Staff was super friendly and of course my Americano was perfect 2 days in a row.
My iced chai was yummy!
Reasonable prices, good coffee, and a wonderful atmosphere, including a large upstairs area.
Cute and more spacious than some other shops in town
Small town feel with an artsy feel. Exactly what you would expect....a solo musician playing according. Paintings and artwork on display. Friendly service and good quality products without jacked-up prices...
Love this coffee shop! Such good coffee and a great place to get homework done.
I usually go in when I walk home or when Im with friends and its always amazing. The drinks are always perfect and they are never messed up. The workers there are super nice too. I love the upstairs art gallery too; the local art is very cool. If you plan on going, I highly recommend the Coffee Toffee Frapuccino, its probably the most delicious item on the menu!
Great coffee, friendly staff!
This coffee shop is by far my favorite place to grab a warm drink in Wake Forest. The atmosphere and stay are inviting and friendly. The drinks are well made, not too sweet, and always delightful. My favorites have been their London Fog and their Raspberry White Mocha. Definitely a notch above any chain coffee shop out there.
Best coffee I’ve ever had! I always get the caramel latte and it’s amazing! All the staff are friendly! Came in yesterday to study and the owner brought my coffee to the table and he was very careful not to spill it on my books. Love this place!
Cute shop with great eats and a cool artist loft
Good coffee and atmosphere. Very friendly people. Service was a little slow. Overall a good experience at a quaint little place.
Great people, great coffee. My kind of shop.
Excellent coffee house with great atmosphere, great staff and great coffee. Quirky, eclectic vibe, and overflowing with creativity courtesy of the Artists Loft. There are paintings from local artists (for sale) adorning seemingly every square inch of wall space.Wonderful place to read, network, have a small business meeting, or just relax. #shoplocal #shopsmall
The staff and service are excellent. The coffee is served in style in a relaxed environment.
Artists painting on the walls, upstairs/downstairs, is the best part about this cafe. Plus, it opens early which is perfect for people who like to wake up early and study in café. Delicious menu and u get a free coffee when you make an account and when you have 500 points. (point system is written somewhere near the counter).
Thanks for making my first date here two years ago so memorable ♡ Also, your chai lattes are the bomb.
Best place to hang and sip your tea or coffee. Its a charming little environment. The staff is always greeting and helpful. Prices are reasonable for what ever it is that gets you going in the morning and they also offer tasty bake goods. What a treat! They keep me coming back for more. Oh yeah, did I mention that they also have a art gallery upstairs. Check that out too. Youll get to see some of the beautiful creative pieces of art from our local artistic minds.
Always good service.
The coffee shop has some of the best service you will ever get. Plus the coffee is really good. My sister, mom and I have been here several times before and each time we were very happy with our drinks.
Love this place, lattes are great
Fantastic place. Good coffee, scones, an art gallery upstairs, good WiFi, and best of all free EV charging. What else could I ask for?
Went by the coffee shop tonight to get my girlfriend a coffee. Service was excellent, the owner is one of the nicest guys youll ever meet, and the white chocolate chai latte is the best weve ever had.
Pumpkin Spice year-round!!! Great people & great coffee.Albert is probably the nicest guy youll meet. Not only is pumpkin spice available year-round, it is amazing! I personally love anything with pumpkin in it, but I have to say, this beats all others (even the big chain)!
Great smoothies and coffee! I had the wild berry and mango smoothies they were amazing and the hazelnut cinnamon coffie I had today was great as well
To be honest, I never really came (or knew of) this coffee shop until hearing about it through a friend. Now that Ive tried it out a few times Im hooked, not to mention Emilee (maybe the manager?) is professional and welcoming, and more than ready to answer any shop or coffee questions! Its a calm and relaxing environment and the art work will keep your busy mind entertained with beauty. Oh and one last thing, at least ONE TIME try something besides coffee, as there other drinks are AWESOME.
Jacob is a very helpful beautiful strapping young man
Love love love. If I lived here Id visit all the time. Live cello music was playing when I went. Super quiet. Reasonable prices for good coffee. Lots of tables. I didnt even make it upstairs. Local art hanging on the wall. Great energy!
Great local shop; they really try to get to know you and even have a rewards system. Lots of interesting conversions going on all the time, too!
I’ve been coming here for a few years now, maybe 5 or 6? It is a very popular local hangout spot for a lot of demographics. College students, coffee shop millennials, high school kids, young professionals, older professionals etc. All of which seem to get a long very well here. There is plenty of room on the ground floor and upstairs in the artist loft there is plenty of room. Maybe 40 chairs? It’s a very casual and clean environment. The upstairs features the artist loft which basically means that as you sip your drink you are surround by walls filled with gorgeous art. The only downsides of this place is limited food options (which is fine, considering it is a coffee shop), and that the coffee is not life changing. The coffee is on par with what it should be and is a high quality while not being the best option for a cup of coffee around here. However it more than compensates with atmosphere!
A nice little shop tucked into downtown Wake Forest.
Great atmosphere
Less pretentious than black and white coffee, and really chill atmosphere.
Wake Forest Coffee Company is a local icon and home base to students at all levels. The hand made drinks are excellent and the restaurant is open long hours. Its nice to have a place to get a late snack after one of the ever increasing events Wake Forest offers during the week. Kudos for being there for us late event goers!
Great service. Great people work here. Love all of the drinks. The food is a little bit Limited. Similar to Starbucks, but with better atmosphere, and a little bit more of a family feeling. Avoid going there on Friday and Saturday nights if you want to stay away from the skater rats and teens that are like butterflies hanging around the place.
Great coffees and bakery selections. Low-key art studio upstairs with free Wi-Fi.
Amazing service! Always so nice. The coffee is also tasty. Could work on a better selection of pastries - but its fine.
Enjoyed my visit during memorial day rain storm. Take a walk around after getting your coffee and enjoy the artwork (for sale) in both the upstairs and downstairs areas. Outdoor sidewalk seating available (awning so wasnt too bad with the rain) and plenty of space inside as well. Most importantly...the coffee (I had an americano) was good, without a bitterness to the fresh ground bean.
Good food and drinks. Very calm atmosphere. Just wish there were more tables for people to use for studying ! Its a popular place and it can get busy
I didnt put a comment initially, but since I got a reaction from the owner, I think I have to explain my 3 stars. The place itself is nice (maybe a bit outdated), with a good location and friendly personnel. We tried some bakery and took couple of coffees, and they were just OK. I tried a better coffee, and a worse coffee. And the one I tried here seemed to be somewhere in between.
Beautiful coffee shop with great discussion and brews. I hope everyone can enjoy this stop. -David
The very best gathering place in Wake Forest.
My wife and kids liked to play games there and drink cofee
Good coffee and friendly service.
The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because its an hour from my house. Cool atmosphere and theyre open late on a Sunday night when everything else is closed. Nice mix of old young and inbetween. If I lived closer it would definitely be my go to place. The Guy Behind The Counter Smiled And Brought My Wifes Espresso to our table when it was ready.
Always an eye opening experience...LOL
