A warm welcome when I first walked in.Then the owner/artist lady asked me where I was from. I told her LA. Her reply was“Why are you traveling during a pandemic? Our schools are still closed. Pls don’t touch anything in my store!”I turned around and left...A word of advice, fellow travelers, pls do NOT go to her shop if you are not local and doesn’t want to be treated in such a terrible fashion!

Was looking through her window while waiting on an order from Tin Roof. Considered buying an ornament here, until she told us to get out of the way because we were crowding the store and that the customers couldn’t see her art. Her store was completely empty of customers.EDIT:No, no one was in there. We couldn’t get in, which was during your business hours, because the door was locked. You came in behind us saying the above before opening your store. The art we did see was very beautiful, however, and I could understand the frustration of crowds blocking your store. Just know those neighboring businesses provide good exposure for your own. I appreciate your response and will give your gallery another visit the next time I’m close by. Mahalo!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I surely would! Rachael and Kaiu are the epitome of aloha! We own several of Rachaels pieces and love each and every one of them. They brighten up our home and remind us of beautiful Maui on dreary or cold Michigan days. And Rachaels art is available on clothing such as dresses, shirts, sweatshirts, leggings, and even one- and two-piece bathing suits (I just got mine this week and its amazing!) as well as home decor items (pillows, shower curtains, duvet covers, etc.) and gifts. She also has other local artists items such as jewelry, wood carved items, and much more. You will see some of Rachaels art at the Kahului airport, many local shops around the island, and even the Westin Nanea in Kaanapali. If you are in Maui for even a day stop-over, Ui Gallery is most definitely a must-visit place!

My husband brought my Birthday present here. Beautiful tahitian pearl earrings. Rachael was just so warm and inviting.
