One of our favorite parks. Very big and great for all the kids (4, 5, 10). Also close bathroom to playground, with a small person sized potty.
My girls really enjoy this playground, including playing on the castle steps and bridge, swinging, and the sand box. I really enjoy the beautiful wood structures!
Probably the best hamburgers against their regular competition big McDonalds and Burger King. The service at the window is always friendly !
Great place to bring your kids and a great place to host a kids party im very happy with the conditions of the park play area as well
Just a very nice little park for a short walk to enjoy the outdoors
Beautiful, fun, great memories made here!
Very cool for kids, you see less and less large wooden playgrounds now.
This place was awesome had a good friend the environment friendly environment for dogs! Highly recommend this place for others if I could rate 10 stars I would! Recommended!
This place is awesome!!!! My little boy loved it & I was very surprised by this park!!!!
Peaceful, not very crowded, serene.
Clean and well-kept
The park itself is gorgeous! There are plenty of playgrounds for kids to play. The walking path that encircles the pond is good for cardio. The pond itself has decent fishing.
I love to fish there I got cat and a lot more
Great childrens play area and pavilion fir a break.
Beautiful venue. Great place to reflect and hike or play Frisbee golf ..
Nice playground but could use some upkeep. Took the trail over to the pond, tree down on the trail. Nice stone picnic area.
Beautiful park.
Gem of a park in the city limits. I cant speak to the playground, volleyball pit, or baseball field, but the paths were mostly well-maintained and pleasant. The trails could benefit from signage, but otherwise its a great place to take a walk.
This park has so much to offer! Kaleidoscope is a beautiful wooden playground that was built by community members. The pictures around the playground (painted by kids at a downtown First Friday event) depict symbols and imaginings that show what is important to families in our community. A small pavilion near the playground hosts many a play group picnic. For bigger gatherings, a much larger shelter with water and charcoal grills stands by the pond, which is a short, pleasant walk from Kaleidoscope, past the baseball fields and through the woods. A well-maintained paved trail around the pond makes for a pleasant walk or run (you can practice your footwork as you dodge goose poop, which is most dense on the south curve of the trail). Memorial also hosts a baseball field, beach volleyball court, disc golf course (not sure how well this is maintained), the Girl Scout House and of course Art Wright Stadium, which hosts Wadsworth high school sports. If you want to see the seasons change, visit the pond every few weeks to see leaves turn, pond water freeze, magnolias blossom and goslings grow up. This is a wonderful setting for your children to grow up too.
Park in My hometown but Needs a Serious Facelift and Lots of Work! Lake is Always a Mess and Trails have taken a Huge hit since the Rainy Days Seems like Nobody cares to even slightly spruce it up. Wadsworth tax dollars NEVER go to whats needed for the Community that pays them
Very beautiful park. It has a small lake. Walking paths. Very peaceful and clean.
Its a great place to take your kids. Theres a nice playground for little and bigger kids. And theres a baseball field, a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, gazebos, etc.
Nice spot, went to the Duck Tape festival. Pretty unique little festival. Would def check out out if you can.
This is a great city park. It has a nice pond for fishing, with a walking trail around it. There is also a nice playground and a frisbee golf course. It also has some pavilions you can rent out and of course the football stadium.
Lots of space to run and play with your kids.
Lovely park! Many benches to sit on to look at the lake (no swimming allowed). Small playground with a large pavilion with many tables and shade. Two parking lots included. Also a trail to get to kaleidoscope park. Many geese come to swim in the lake and dogs are allowed in the park (leash required). Fishing is also allowed. Also there is a cement walking path around the whole lake.
Kool,n nice
Very relaxing..super cool environment..
Its a nice park. Easily accessible, nice pond with a track around for walking, a good parking area that is nicely blocked by trees, and paths through the woods connecting the various areas. My only complaint is the geese. They are everywhere, and are a bit aggressive, I would be unsure of bringing a small child around them, though they mainly stay near the water/track around the water, so the kids would have a great time at the play area instead.
Always a favorite of the kids. They love the castle Wich is well maintained, and the tennis court nets are always up in time and great! Park is very clean.
I grew up across the street from kaleidoscope, my dad helped build it. Its still a fantastic and safe place to take your children to play. There is multiple things for older children to do. There is also 4 baby swings for the little ones. Forever one of the best designed parks in Wadsworth.Unfortunately, the weeds are not taken care of within the play area and some things are in need of a new coat of paint.
City of Wadsworth maintains Memorial Park very well. Beautiful scenery, trees and pond.
Memorial Park was just stunning and surreal. So peaceful. Tranquil.
Played disk golf, course was poorly marked, but the park itself was really nice.
Wonderful park for a jog. Do NOT miss the flowers blooming in the spring.
Its kept clean and its the best place for a walk in wadsworth one of my favorites
Kaleidoscope is one of the nicest playgrounds in the area. My son loves the baby swings, of which there are 4! Plenty of structures to climb, swings, several slides, an area exclusively for little kids with a sand pit. Good for toddlers to big kids, even parents. There are covered picnic tables nerby, so when the weather gets nice it would be great place to have a picnic and play.
Had a good time with the kids playing .Very nice big clean play set
Beautiful park my kids loved it
Excellent field conditions! BEaR
First time here but its a beautiful park it aint got nuttin on Metroparks but puts parks back in lorain to shame
Ive always loved this park. Great for going on a run whether you prefer the trails or the sidewalk, and gorgeous for photos when the trees bloom in the spring. Theres a big pond for fishing, lots of parking all around, a playground, two pavilions, and decent bathrooms. A city favorite.
Very pretty park, nice amenities!
If you are looking for a great local park, this it. Large wooden playground castle, volleyball net, baseball field, plenty of open field and really interesting walking paths through the woods next to it. Only complaint is bathrooms are sometimes locked and water to fountains is sometimes off.
Nice park. No basketball hoops though.
Nice park however alot of poop on the sidewalk from the geese
Big area for the kids to play with a huge wooden playground. They are updating the playground over time, but it is still nice. I personally do not let my kids play in the sand box since it seems to be utilized by the neighborhood cats. The slides have sloped over the years where they now catch water at the bottom, so any sort of rain and the slides stay wet for a while. In addition to the playground, there is a picnic pavilion, sand volleyball court, tennis courts and a baseball field. The park is within walking distance to Bidingers Ice Cream, which is a plus!
A GREAT place for kids and adults alike. Theres a trail, an open field, an awesome wooden intricate playground, a lake, and extreme frisbee. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes being outside.
Kool kids play here and they rock
Loved it, kids love it,
Humble, a great place for friendly volleyball and baseball.
Quiet little park.
Great park, lots of hidey holes for kids to play. Downside is lots of blind spots, so you have to pay attention to the kids.
Best playground around!
Great place to take the family!!!
I run around the pond regularly with my family. Nice play areas and pavilions.
Two nice playgrounds and a walking path
Not bad. Big wooden playground. I didnt see any basketball courts. But there is a baseball field and tennis courts. Large grassy area. Park overall was clean. I prefer other parks but this is ok occasionally
Beautiful place all year around
Nice place to go on a nice day
Love the area and a place to walk plus playgrounds
I prefer coming to this park for the playground. Its less crowded and quieter than kaleidoscope. It is also shaded with many trees. The swing set, however, is not next to the playground. You have to walk a little way around the pond, but thats part of the fun. The swings do need replaced though. One swing is completely broken. There are two others, but one had a tangled chain last time I was there.
Clean and safe park
Great old park
Its a shame so many people worked hard and donated so much for us to have kaleidoscope park..just for the city to let it go to hell. Just letting it fall apart. Im sure theyll soon gouge the tax payers to build something new instead maintaining the maintenance on the existing park. Glad not my tax dollars being abused. Happy Cleveland is able to find the funds to not only maintain our local parks but also to improve them. O also would like to add all the trash cans was over flowing and couldnt use little pavilion because it was full of yellow jackets. We had it reserved for birthday party.
Nice little park.
Very well kept up clean except for the geese poop keep up the good work! Harry
Nice place to meet with friends with kids. Kids play and adults visit.
Best park ever!
I lived near here for 13+ years and it was beautiful, now theres tables missing, geese and their poo everywhere, city is lacking taking care of it now....it looks like a dump, old tires in woods as well
Nicest high school baseball field Ive ever seen.
Always fun for the kids!
Nice field they have there. The park is not so big, it is only worth a visit to see the field.
A very nice park. Always kept clean, and fun place to go and run
Relaxing place!
Lovely park!nice
It was a fun time for the baby which is all that matters and it was our first time going there so all in all it was great!
The park is lovely, parking for a football game.... Not so lovely.
Great outdoor area for children. Local high school football stadium right next door.
Amazing park with lots to do and a football field
Nice setting for pictures
Co-Ed softball for mainly senior citizens! Had a decent turnout, with excellent field conditions and good morning weather
The pond was rilly dirty
Well-maintained, in a beautiful setting. Ideal for groups !
Great place to walk around. Plenty of Pokemon to catch for the family and kids in your life that play Pokemon go.
It has a nice waking path, pond, play areas, and a shelter house
My daughter had a great time playing at the play ground.
Fun park for kids, a very nice playground, a lake to fish at, and rentable areas for family events.
Went here for the fireworks. Was nice. Lots of people.
Nice, clean, quiet. Nice location, easy park.
