A lovely park with fall foliage just starting its colorful transformation. 2nd largest lake in the metro area: lots of boating activity. Check it out?

As this is a Carver County Park, you will need to pay for a vehicle pass (daily or annual available). Playground is small but lots of open space. Great views of the sunset over Lake Waconia. The sledding hill in the winter is a blast.

Great beach, plenty of picnic tables. Recommend going earlier than later, water was really nice (clear and very few weeds) in the morning when the lake was calm. We came back later in the evening and the water was much greener as there were lots of boaters on the lake. Beach was nice and freshly groomed when we arrived.

Not a clean beach, sharp rocks and dead fish. Wood ticks are an issue too.

Awesome place worked here got two years remodeling it

Decent beach but in need of a combing. Several dead smelly fish and seaweed washed up along shore. The lifeguards do a good job enforcing rules, which was appreciated. The beach was not crowded, probably due to the entrance fee. The playground is very basic with a small slide and swings.

I attended a really fun snowmobile race event at this park in late January. It has a really nice Clubhouse on the property which was great because it was 15 degrees below zero while I was there. It was a nice facility to go into and warm up and use the bathroom. The the park and views of the lake is very beautiful!

Nice local beach. Clean, but sometimes it smells fishy and has weeds at the shoreline. Its great after its been raked. And is a very popular 4th of July spot (get there early and expect bad traffic getting out).

Great beach! My kids enjoy rock hunting on the beach. Its pretty and there are some giant umbrellas in the sand. You do need to pay to park though.

Its nice enough. We came in the evening when most people are home . Dead fish, though. If you want to use tubes you have to wait until the lifeguards are off duty.

The gate charge for five dollars a day was enforced for just driving around to see whats there. What a waste of five dollars! Drove in and drove out two minutes later and would not refund the five dollars.
