I give it a 3 due to lack of consideration the the people. The Center now requires only clear bags, which is fine. However, this was not posted until you start to round the front of the building. If that had been posted at the parking lot ticket entrance or the parking attendees had let us know, again great, no problem. I have some bad hip/knee arthritis, but have not requested a handicap sticker as of yet. That added a bit more pain to my night. On my way back to and from the car to dump my purse, I did inform about 8 ladies of the fact their bags would not be allowed.

Nice arena to run barrels in. Dirt was excellent!

We came down from Dallas for the MAP Motorsports Outlaw Nationals Monster Trucks. Tickets and parking are both very reasonable and the staff is friendly. My almost 5 year old and 1 and a half year old nieces had a blast. Nice little rodeo arena.

Its a clean, safe place to take the family

Recently went to the Texas rodeo finals at the Extraco Events Center. I took my family and had a wonderful time. Great place oh, good seating, good prices.

Back porch area for a meeting. Give a good panoramic view of the events area, out of the heat in the stands.

Cody Jinks was great. Beer lines fast bathrooms clean. Only bummer was no smoking area at all but I went with it All good just had a few extra beers. Texas people are great hospitality folks. Cheers

It was amazing I really like going there. Since it was my very first time goimg to a monster jam show it was even better! I had so much fun!

The facility is nice from the outside but make sure if youre going for the salsa and margarita festival to realize that this is basically just a concert. There is no margarita or salsa competition and they get away calling it a festival based on the fact that the bars are serving crappy mass produced frozen margaritas out machines and there are two tables with free chips and some Pace salsa.... We actually ran into another couple from Dallas who drove down thinking this would be a festival like its advertised only to be sorely disappointed as well. Oh well, at least the music was good...

Horse shows happen here. The Heart Of Texas Fair also happens here yearly.

This is an impressive venue. It was well run and managed a large horse show. I look forward to returning. For people who want to watch, the seating is excellent.

Kinda small, I would compare to a nice high school facility. It was still a pleasant evening. I felt safe and enjoyed myself while attending a concert here.

Needs a better way to remove fumes if theyre going to have monster truck shows in there but with that being said I had an awesome time! The place is spacious and the bathrooms were very clean. I wouldnt hesitate to go to any event they have.

Looks like a very nice facility for horse events, being from out of state, we went there as the site said there was a several day hunter/jumper event, we spent an hr driving there & found 3 vehicles in the parking lot, seemed like maybe 4 horses in the days events, so we left to drive back to our campground feeling very disappointed! Id suggest they list their events more clearly.

HOT Fair & Rodeo-Advertises Pro Rodeo but there were more local cowboys than known professionals.Concerts- As much as the tickets are to get in, was hoping to see Some well known artists instead of the Texas Country artists we see all the time.Construction mess everywhereHalf of the Vendors that are usually there.

Omgoodness so much better than our first 2 horse shows. (Drooping Springs Ranch Park ) No huge open garage door with sunlight right in your horses eyes. Vendors selling QUALITY stuff! Its fantastic!!! And Im surprised at how reasonable the classes are. I mean Ive been paying A Show prices at C shows. Everything is better on this side of the learning curve! Lol

Its a rodeo barn not an event center the chairs are awful and concessions outrageous only would go if i had to.

Probably be a good idea to have a wash down and clean once a year of the facilities Other than that everything was great!

This events center is really great! It is huge, so it can house all manner of events from performers to local competitions. All the facilities are well kept up, and quite functional. This is a really great place to attend or host events, and not feel too cramped or overcrowded.

The staff works very hard to maintain the grounds and buildings. Brian will take great care of you when you have an event there and they keep working to make it better.

We had a great time at the Rodeo the only thing that kept Extraco Event Center from getting a 5 star is the building was way to cold inside. I invited my parents (senior citizens) to come out with my family and to have them watching a RODEO circuit final for 3 hours in the cold is unacceptable. I would ask that you turn on the heaters and make the inside environment a comfortable 75 degrees inside especially in winter month of January.

The events that are held here are enjoyable for all the ages in the family. The fair that is every year ( in October ) has big rides for the adults and little rides that arent as intense for little kids. The food that is there is super good, there are different types of foods. Concerts are also here during the fair time and its an event that wont brake the bank. Disney on ice was held here one year and so many kids enjoyed it as well as the adults seeing all the different tricks. Take out the family to an event one day and see how much fun you will have!

Nice large space facility event staff was friendly and helpful

No matter what vent we are attending it is always a blast. And anytime I say anything I can always find a staff member that is always very helpful. The restrooms are always so clean no matter what event it is and if there are a hundred people there or thousand.

We visited this place for the Magnolia Warehouse sale which was outstanding. Best deals on the overpriced stuff you get at the Magnolia store. Highly recommend.

The fair was fun and an excellent place to be whenever you get bored but im only giving it 4 stars because when I went to the building with all the stands in it to use the restroom because I dont trust port a potty. Before I walked in there was a sign on the door that said open please come on in and as soon as I was done using the restroom I was immediately confronted by one of the people operating the stands asking if I work with one of the stands they have and I told him no and before I can finish what I was about to say he told me to get out because theyre closing and he then asked me how I got in and when I mentioned the sign he told that they closed 5 mins ago because they close at 10 and it was 10:05, he then told me he was and I quote forcing people out so that we can close already So when I was leaving he followed me to the door and then I left the building. I would also like to add that I had entered the building at 9:55 and I only went in because of the sign and to use the restroom . If they wanted everyone out then I recommend taking down the sign and locking the doors 5-10 mins before closing so that gives them plenty of time to get everyone out of the building in an organize manner. Btw this was at the arts and crafts building by the front entrance.

Really enjoyed our first time here. We were really irritated about not being able to go out to our truck for a personal item. We were hassled about it and told we would have to buy another ticket... other than that, great!

Heart of Texas Fair, crazy high prices this year, also now you must have magic money to do ANYTHING, even to buy food. But there is great food, awesome crafts,and its of info booths. So if you can afford to blow a lot of dough its a must go.

Staff is great friendly and helpful. I love that stalls already had pads in them and that they were dirt stalls in the big barn. The ground was good. definitely recommend it if your going to a rodeo

I love trains, like classic old vintage trains. I remember sitting on my great grandpeepas lap as a young man as we careened down the mountainside in his 1998 ford train. I was the only the one who thought the fair should have a train chili cook off but maybe Im wrong.
