Ive loved this place forever. I love it more when I learned I could make my selections late at night while I was thinking of it and pick them up curbside. Ive had a great deal of trouble on this project getting tarn in the weight and colors that I like.I got two orders because after I ordered and paid for the yarn, I realized I could get the buttons, thread, needles and other items to finish the project!

Michaels has an amazing variety of crafts, frames, jewelry, seasonal decorations and much much more. Every time I walk in I lose myself in there, I could spend hours and not even notice. I absolutely love this store. It can get a bit pricey but they also offer amazing deals. Over all I think its a pretty balanced place.

Love Michaels! It’s my go to place for Happy Planner supplies and I’m excited to say I got a TEACHER Happy Planner this year before they were all gone.They also offer 15% discount if purchased with your teacher ID and the app always has great coupons.

Went to the Valley Mills store for first time today for fall decor supplies in floral. One roll of ribbon was $10. I couldn’t find floral tape (it was not in floral), So I mentioned it at checkout. I’m not sure if these poor workers were rude or just overworked. Turns out the tape was in aisle 99; the last aisle of the store. They had 2 associates at the registers and one in framing - for the entire store. The line for checkout was 8 people deep and growing quickly (and not social distancing on the marked spots). To get the tape, I would had to have paid, gone to the back of the store, and gotten back in the line to pay again. As it was I bought a $5 pumpkin (small) and the ribbon and a pair of jewelry pliers ($10) and with the 20% off coupon, my bill was over $25! If I hadn’t needed the pliers to repair my earrings I would have left them off. I mentioned I could pick up the floral tape at hobby lobby and I was met with indifference. To say this store is under-staffed is an understatement. And their employees are definitely not happy people.

Great place to go for your art and crafting needs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even had some leather craft items, which I really wasnt expecting.

I recently got into painting, amd Michaels seems to have very competitive prices on oil paints and brushes. They also have a lot of other stuff, seasonal decorations and fondant. A bit more down to earth that hobby lobby.

The store is so well stocked and organized. I would just say that they usually seem understaffed (which is no fault of the employees Im sure). As such, the service isnt always great. The store isnt super clean either. Still, Id definitely recommend it for the prices and great selection.

Bravo to Michael’s for maintaining safe masking in public. This is a pandemic! Everyone with a brain and love (or at least respect) for our community knows not to spread viruses and ignorance with only a few easy steps. The rest of you need to stay home.

Great prices however out of stock on what I was looking for.

Staff wasnt very helpful. And thats only if you could actually find an employee there. It seemed there was maybe one employee working the floor and two cashiers. When we found an employee and asked where to find a gift bag... He looked about as lost and confused as we were.

The staff was polite and helpful. One of my favorite locations.

Went to the Waco Michaels store today and the girl met us at the front door and said we were required to wear a mask to come in the store. She also said that if we didnt have one we could buy one from them. Sounds like a scam to sell masks. We should know thank you we will go to hobby lobby and she proceeded to tell us that they had the same policy in place. We got there and not only did they not have that policy in place half of the people working there had their mask down off their nose or completely off their face. So not only are they trying to make money off the covid they are also lying to you about other stores

Watch it if you are buying cake mix or icing. It expired years and years ago!

Ordered online for curbside. When checking my order found the wrong item, and they were quick to fix the mistake. However, when I received the correct item I noticed that it wasn’t the color I was looking for, so I called the store (while still in the parking lot) and asked to do an exchange and the girl who answered the phone refused to exchange the items saying that it was because the item numbers were different. She went on to tell me that I would “have to place a separate order online and it would take a while to fulfill because of the amount of orders they had”.Very disappointed with the service. I have taken and exchanged items in store many times without problem. It had been a minute or less that I called after receiving the item.

Good size, not bad prices. Most was on sale 40% to 50% off.

I love this Michaels. My daughter and I can look around for hours. Constance one of their staff is the sweetest, kindest, woman. She takes care of the customers with a smile and great knowledge of the store. I love it when shes in charge of the Make it crafts. She is just great and also really great with the children. We drive 100 miles round trip to go to this Michaels.

Waco Michaels was dirty and very poorly stocked.

Store is well organized and has great selection of product. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had purchased some frames to hold some small canvas paintings, but it wouldnt fit. They gave me some options and helped solve my dilemma. I will be back!

You go in for a UPS postal and you might be waiting a couple days cuz they store things in the back definitely wait for the line to go down even though they got a button to push separately.

This is a nice store with nice staff. I went in with a 25% off everything coupon (including sale items), but did not get 25% off of everything that I bought. Read the coupon restrictions carefully. The things I bought were not included in the sale.

State Fair, what can I say? Now that Im old, the attraction to be here is changed but the venue really has not changed. I was disappointed that we stayed over in Dallas to come back on Thursday when the old folks get in for free and there are some food discounts. Two of the cornydog stands were out of batter. Convenient, but the wait at the beerstands was short, so we spent out tickets on beer and then did some people watching.

Didnt find what I went in for, but had a lot of clearance items.

Couldnt find mold making materials for body props or other objects. Kinda old yet employees seem happy to work there.

I buy ALL of my craft stuff from micheals. We homeschool and I create items to sell from home so we are in there alot. The online coupons always come on handy also!

I took my daughter to a free event that Michaels has for kids. I didnt know where to go, but the associates were very nice. Heavenly was the person leading the class. My daughter was the only one there, so she spent some one on one time with Heavenly. After we walked around to explore the store. Everything was clean and easy to find. I even bought a plastic tote on sale for $7. Overall, me and my daughter really enjoyed ourselves.

They had a lot of Christmas decor on sale 40 to 80% off. Its barely first week of November.

I went in for 1 thing and left with 4! Definitely will be back. The candles smell wonderful, just like fall

Michaels is one of two great craft stores in Waco. It has all kinds of craft supplies at good prices with sales every week. There are a lot of parking spaces and other stores nearby.

I love Michael’s but as I’m standing here waiting for my online order that was placed 6Hrs ago, they didn’t have ready. I finally decided to order and pick up online. Minus well have done it my self instead of depend on employees to do their job.

Terrific store. There is so much variety in the options you can get there and they never do to have something that I just cant do without either. The staff are very helpful and the store is kept in great condition. It is my go to place for any kind of crafts.

Could not find what I was looking for

Great place. Lil on the exspensive side for some items. Only con I have is that everytime I go into Michaels they have the heater cranked up even in the summer time.

I loved the 50% off Valentine kits. I hope somewhere in the near future Michaels would strongly consider donating some Arts and Crafts kits and supplies to the Waco VA OT (Arts and Crafts Clinic). Some of the Women and Male Veterans who go to the OT clinic are either attending and a temporary residential program or are an inpatient. Having a craft to do is a form of recovery therapy for the veterans at Waco VA.

Absolutely love coming here!! I always end up spending more than I need to when coming here, but I love it! The coupons are great. Im always finding new things for my business.

I like Michaels and have shopped there for years. Great store & merchandise. BUT... I avoid this store during the summer. Last summer the ac went out; not fixed. I went last week (thinking by now the ac was fixed) but NO. I hurriedly got my items and left. Too hot & humid to just look around and shop. Sad that this store is not maintained with customer in mind. And those whatever temporary units do NOT cool the store. In check out lines; I heard everyone complaining .
