It was a very nice and clean park. It wasnt very busy when I went, but it has a playground and Basketball court. Great for kids and teens alike.

Open, no fences so have good control over your furry friend if you go there. Its pure dark fine dirt sombe prepared for you and your dog to get dirty. Walking trails too. OK parking and port-o-let for bathrooms if needed.

I love this park! The dogs run around freely on the paved sidewalk loop or can climb the hillside where there is a trail for their human counterpart to tag along. Most dogs are unleashed. Fenced in playground for children.

Dog park is located in a crevice surrounded by mountains so dogs can be off their leashes without needing to worry. All dogs are socialized and owners are all laid back. Owners are typically 30/40+ if youre interested in the human crowd as you will meet some regulars.

Very interesting dog park. There are no fences, just a lot of natural obstacles to keep dogs contained. If you have a runner that is looking to escape, theyll get away from you here. But if your dog likes to stay near, this is a really unique place to bring them to. There is also a nice fenced clean play area for kids with lots of stuff to climb on. Ive never seen a dog park like this before.

Very good place for dogs and kids. A little worried about the parking as theres no gate to separate the parking from the gate so dogs and kids can wander into it. There are great trails for short little hikes.

Great local dog park where kids can play, and dogs can run around off-leash. Most parks are all dirt. This has lots of open trail space and a cement walking path through the oak trees. Highly recommended.

I love this small park. It is hidden just of the road and a nice oasis from the industrial Park just near by Its one of the only places you can have your dog off a leash.

Outstanding dog park, with a dogs welcome kids allowed atmosphere. No leashes necessary, most dogs at the park are friendly and the owners pick up after their dogs more than most places. It has a nice loop surrounded by trees and bushes and a fenced in kids playground in the center.

This seems to be the best dog park in the area. Nice walking path and trails. Most of the dogs and owners are great and there are many regulars.

Love this dog park! Theres a paved circle that is really fun to hike while my dog explores along it, and two cool nautural trails to explore along the parks edge. Just be careful of rattlesnakes!!! We had a scary encounter with one there a week ago. Took the attached pic before we saw the snake!It would be better if there were a fence around the parking lot so dogs arent constantly running into it. The current setup is a recipe for disaster.

Great dog park for off leash fun! Takoda loves making friends and walking the trails with his pet humans. Bring your 4 legged family to meet Takoda and his friends. We ran into a family with no dog but 2 small kids that had a blast with all the doggies. Great idea to introduce kids to pets!

This is a great dog park and kid park. Fully enclosed kids play area, with swings and slides. Cement walking trail in a little loop around perimeter of the park and dogs can go off leash everywhere. Only drawback is no bathrooms, only a portable potty.

Wonderful place to take your dog, just please drive slow down the hill, as i do see many drivers going a bit fast. This is an off leash park and has wonderful trails and a nice playground to take hour little one while your pup plays.

Great park! Not a ton of shade so its best on cloudy days. Playground is completely fenced in and the park area doubles as a dog park, so its great for safe dog watching. Rubber ground with tot playset and big kid playset and swings. Nice short paved trail loop. Beautiful peaceful park. Portapotty only.

Great little neighborhood park. It has a very nice fenced in play area, a short nature trail and it is a dog-friendly park. So far everyone I’ve ever encountered there is friendly. I love it!Things to know:• There are plenty of trees and plants• A sidewalk type trail• A few picnic benches• Dog-Friendly (so be aware that there are dogs off-leash)• No bathrooms but they do have a porta-pottyPlay area• It has a soft rubberized ground covering• It has multiple sized slides• It has two regular swings and two toddler type swings• Plenty of structures to climb on• No shade inside the fence• I recommend bringing a blanket to sit on if you want to sit inside the play area as there are no benches or tables inside the fence. You can sit on the rubber surface but it can be dirty at times.

My favorite dog park. Open for off leash dogs dawn to dusk. The back area has a lovely concrete path surrounded by lightly groomed native plants. Wonderful fragrances for doggie and me. The path is ADA accessible. There are usually several dogs and their people enjoying the park.There is also a nice playground for the kids, separate from the dogs. There are several picnic tables scattered around, under large trees.This park offers a taste of nature in the suburbs.

Its such a great place to go especially if you love dogs! The playground is also amazing.

Brought my dogs for the first time.....there was an issue with snakes and jist like with kids, the curiousity of the off leash pups caused some chaos! Its nice to have a place thats welcoming for dogs and their families.

Dog park had foxtails and rattlesnakes

This is a nicely thought out park. The fence around the play area keeps the dogs out, but the rest of the park appears to be an off-leash area for dogs. It is so nice to see an off-leash area with shrubs, trees and natural terrain. There is a paved, looping trail through the oak forest with a tree-shaded picnic area, and shaded parking. The rest room is aportable unit, and I did not see any drinking fountain, but, overall, it is a very nice, small, neighborhood park.

I live in Vista now and I had to drive 14 minutes just to get to this park only to have a huge disappointment because there’s no fenced in dog park. There was a dog park but it was an open dog park there is no fencing and my dog is not the type of dog that can run around without offense because he will run he is a runner. I wish that when I looked this up it would’ve made it more clear that there’s no fenced in dog park what I did like however is that there was a fenced in playground for kids. I will never go back there again unfortunately I’m really disappointed that I drove all that way.

Great place to take your family. The playground is a good size, and blocked off for the kids, the area is large for the dogs. If you dont have well behaved dogs, you may not like it here, there is no outer area fence, so if you cant keep your dog in with your voice you may have trouble. The area is in a valley of sorts though, so the climb out would be a challenge for the dogs but, again, a decently trained dog would have a great time.Almost all the people I have met here, and their dogs, were very friendly. We go there on a regular basis and will continue to do so.

Wonderful because off leash is allowed. Territorial group of local koots in their lawn chairs, but most people here are quite friendly. Fun park for the kiddos right in the middle, and fenced off from the dogs.

Wow, great place to make new doggie owner friends. Our Sallie really enjoyed running, playing and making new friends. In addition to being a pet friendly park, there is a gated playground in great condition for kiddos. Nice solid picnic tables under big oak trees. A watering hole for pooches, and parents. Paved walking trails, and dirt hiking trails. Its a fun hide-away park.

Nice park and dog friendly. kids playground is in good shape and fenced off to keep the dogs out. (also keeps the small kids in)The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is due to restrooms. one portable toilet onsite which isnt great for families

The park itself is fantastic & a great place to exercise while your dog socializes. But my dog was attacked by another German Shepherd February 2017 as we ran the opposite direction. Nobody offered to help as this dog ran towards us and started biting my dog. I was screaming for help. People just stood there and watched. Six years of going to dog parks every Saturday, this was a first. This is a beautiful park, less than a mile from my house in ShadowRidge. my dog has never been in a fight before nor had she ever even growled or showed her teeth prior to this dog. I hope nobody else has this experience.

Beautiful Park where very nice dog owners and dogs walk regularly. The concrete path is about .4 miles long and is wheelchair and stroller friendly. There is a small playground and half basketball court also. Hours are restricted when dogs can be off leash.

A great safe place to take your fur fur babied for a walk off leash from sunrise to 1000 or 1500 to sunset. The paved trail around the park is 1/4 mile and there are wooded areas for your pups to explore.

Love this park, the best park in north county, the kids get locked up in a fenced off area, while the dogs can run free,. I personally think the morning crowd is better than the afternoon crowd.. this place was known as RATTLESNAKE park growing up.. keep ur dogs close to the concrete pathways.

Spent lots of time here as a kid. Always a nice place for a walk, trails usually well maintained but no restroom. They do have a nice duck pond though, just dont feed them!

Good place to take the kids. Has a child containment fence around the jungle gym equipment which makes it easier watching them.

Enclosed playground for my kids with an off-leash dog park during certain hours. Had to deduct one star here though because there are more than a few bad apples that dont pick up after their pets.
