Definitely zero covid 19 measures in place except for a light hearted “have you been around anyone with covid or experiencing covid symptoms? No? Okay go in” at the entrance. Only the life guards have mask on. The people handling food and handing out money either don’t have a mask on or it’s doing soooo much work protecting their chins. No capacity limits. People absolutely everywhere. Loved the tiny stickers on the ground saying keep six feet apart and they’re about three feet from each other. Oh and there’s an enter/exit gate block for the wave pool. Thanks? Not sure what that’s doing. The lazy river all inner tubes in a pile with each other but one side was “clean” and the other “sanitized”. I was at that park for about four hours and didn’t see them cleaned once. If you’re not going to actually clean, just say that. They act like there’s all these covid measures in place but there’s none whatsoever. If there’s a place you can get covid, it’s here. We had fun though.

We absolutely love this please we got our season passes and have already gone 4 time in under 2 months. It is very clean the life guards have been well tried and do their job accordingly while on duty.

The wave pool is the best!!! I rented a VIP for the day and our attendant was wonderful. We try to come once a year, we will continue to keep coming here

Really nice park! We rented a cabana which proved to be worth the expense. We had a great experience eventhough some of the attractions were not open and the weather did not cooperate. Friendly staff. Really good food. We will definitely return when back in the area.

This placed looked cool; sounded cool. My SO and I pull up to a park that seems, not so crowded. I thought that maybe because it was a weekday. Nope. Turns out that all the slides are closed?!?!? It literally says this no where?!? I looked with my girlfriend for about, 10 minutes until we said something about a refund. We didn’t find a thing mentioning it. We said something to the ticket booth attendant. He mentions how the website was updated today, so it should reflect that. Still, we looked again and found nothing. In the end; we got our money back. Unfortunately; this was still a waste in gas just to get here. Why wouldn’t that be on the website, or posted somewhere by the entrance??? Plus; we paid 57$ for her and I. That is with the slides closed... why is it full priced, with 3/4 of the park not even operating??

We loved this place! We came down to VA Beach for a short vacation, and ended up coming here twice since the kids loved it so much. My only recommendation is to double check your receipts if you pay in person as I was charged for 3 adults 1 kid, when it should have been 2 adults 2 kids. Also bring water shoes, the second day my sons toes were bleeding so bad we had to leave early. Alot of walking and soft water soaked feet = ground becomes a cheese grater. The staff was nice. Tons of tables and was able to enjoy an alcoholic drink under the umbrella. I would go again.

We came to celebrate my daughter birthday and even those most of the rides were closed we had a good time. Everything was clean and organized!!! They made sure everything was wiped down. We had a Cabana rental and it was definitely worth it and the server was the best! We certainly will be coming back!!! It was our first time!!!! Unfortunately the rain caused a delay and after 90 mins the park offered a rain check and credit for our cabana use. We certainly enjoyed our time at oceanfront.

We had a blast today! There were so many things to do! We relaxed by poolside, rode all the slides and cruised around the lazy river. The prices on food and drinks were your typical over priced fare, but we knew this before coming. All in all a great time!

We went both days last weekend and had a blast! Even though the slides are closed down (which is one hundred percent out of their control), we had a great time. We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Our 4 year old would probably live in the kiddie pool and wave pool if she had the choice, but our 1 year old still hates the water (were hoping she gets used to it!). Finding safe and fun activities during a pandemic is difficult, but Ocean Breeze is perfect during this frustrating pandemic time. Everything felt clean and safe. The employees were amazing, as every employee we encountered had great attitudes and even better customer service. Can you imagine wearing a mask ALL DAY in this brutal summer heat? The employees deserve mad props for sticking to safety guidelines and working so hard. Other park patrons respected the social distancing, and it wasnt difficult to stay in your bubble if thats what you look to do. We bought season passes, which was a no brainer since the pass will go into next summer too. Looking forward to going back next weekend. Thanks, Ocean Breeze!

Buying the season pass for this summer and getting next summer for free was an amazing deal. My 15 month old son loves going here. He loves the kid area, the wave pool, and always falls asleep on the lazy river.

Perfect park for kids not afraid of water. If you have kids with the get nervous around water wouldnt do this park. Ive got to dare devils do for us it was absolutely perfect. My only issues was not many slides for my 3yr old to ride. He like to ride the same ride as his 13 yr old brother and this park does not accommodate that. So back to water country for us when this pandemic is over

One of the best Waterparks Ive ever been to. My family & I had a great time. Not many people at all. The park itself is not that big but its still enough to do. Ill love to come back.

Great place for everyone. Busy at noon time. Parking lot has cart to take you to the entrance. Online ticket is cheaper than regular ticket. Very friendly staffs and helpful. Good choice

We came during the pandemic, and its hard to rate a water park when none of the slides are open. This was a fact we didnt really grasp until we had already purchased the tickets and entered the park. However, we had a great time with what was available and the service was fantastic when we wanted to change our plans slightly for the day. It wasnt perfect, but wed come back, especially if they were fully operational.

Ocean Breeze is one of the greatest attractions in the Va Beach area. Even with the slides closed due to Covid, this place offers nothing short of a good time. A season pass is a must if you are local!

Very impressed with the park and how they are handling covid and keeping patrons safe. Staff kept all tubes clean and sanitized, wore facemasks and maintained social distancing standards. They had a clean team going around and making sure standards of cleaning were met. Sanitizing tubes after people used them. Highly recommend.

The day we went it was not crowded. Had a very nice time. Got a season pass for the family.

We bought tickets July 9, 2020 when we got there they informed us at the covid screening that slides would not be open. We were disappointed and asked for a refund. They were happy to give us one! No where online states this before you bought the tickets. It looked like a great park, just not a lot was open. I wish they would update their website and inform people of what’s open and closed before purchasing the tickets.

Not a bad place at all. Fun for a day for the kids. Wish the waves in the wave pool were bigger, but a good time none the less.

I got a membership to this water park when I was pregnant just to get out of the house and have fun. I was Not disappointed! This water park is Fantastic! There is so much to do and it’s fun for the whole family. This summer we plan on going again. Possibly getting another membership, the bring a friend days were awesome.

This water park is outstanding. My family has been to indoor and outdoor water parks and this is one of the best hands down. There are a lot of different water slides, the wave pool is great, and they have a separate area for young children. I read several reviews on the bathrooms being dirty but that was not the case at all. The floors are obviously wet because everyone is wet! But the mens and womens bathrooms were pretty clean. I would highly recommend this water park. My family had a great time.

Weve been to many water parks and this one is hands down one of the best Across the Nation! I love that they provide sunscreen and many locations for shade. The meal plan is highly recommended if you plan on visiting several times! They even offer veggie burgers for those with vegetarian/vegan needs! And Ive never ran into any unfriendly staff members.

We visit Ocean Breeze whenever we vacation in Virginia Beach. This year was different because the slides were closed due to the Virginia governor’s COVID-19 restrictions. If allowed, I know Ocean Breeze would’ve been able to handle guests on the slides because there were numerous employees keeping everyone safe in the attractions that were open (namely the wave pool). There were employees going around and wiping down ladder rails and common areas multiple times in order to make sure everyone was having fun and being safe. Even though the slides were closed, the wave pool and TropiCool Pool were not over-crowded, and both pools were very clean. I noticed that some public pools can be somewhat dirty and/or overwhelmingly smell of chemicals. The pools here were very clean and did not have that overwhelming “chlorine” smell. I also didn’t get pink eye from the pool chemicals like I do at some other pools.The employees were very friendly, and it was evident that they were thoroughly trained in COVID-19 precautions. This park knows how to keep you safe while letting you have as much fun as possible.

Guy got this open in the midst of the 2020 crisis. Has a screener so we can go in and swim without worrying about Covid-19.I wish more places would do this. FAR more effective than mask up and yolo.This is why I come to this place almost every single day. Its feels like everything is normal again here.

Since Ocean Breeze Waterpark has decided to BLOCK me from their facebook page, I am going to post here so everyone can see it!My mother and I visited the park on Friday afternoon and were EXTREMELY disappointed with our experience. No chairs at all to lay down on, no umbrellas, employees were moody with us. We purchased season passes and instantly regretted it. We let and went back to the front counter to ask for a refund. The girl informed us to email the guest services and ask for one, which we did.No response. (Still nothing 3 days later either)I then messaged Ocean Breeze on Facebook, and commented the same thing on multiple other posts. Warning others about the disappointment of the park this year. After my final message last night, they BLOCKED ME. I can no longer comment on any of their posts or message them. I find it ridiculous that in the last 15 years their customer service has become so terrible and their employees are so disrespectful and rude. I will NEVER return to this park and will also be posting this on their google review page Just a warning to everyone else to not waste their money supporting them anymore since we both felt like we were being scammed by paying $160 for season passes to have to sit on the ground or not even be able to sit at all.You can tell me Im being ungrateful or dramatic, but after 15+ great seasons, I believe this is truly a scam. NO one should be paying more than every other year to have to sit on the ground and not even be able to go in the pools or slides, or even have an umbrella to sit under.

Great water park. Fun slides, lots to do. Little ones had a great time, so did the teens. I wouldnt recommend planning it for the whole day. But its a nice 4 or 5 hour change when staying at the beach.

Its my favorite place to go to in the summertime in Virginia Beach. Its fun and family friendly yet they cater to people who like to go to a bar as well. They even have an area for smokers and offer free sunscreen all day long. They have movie nights and extended hours for season pass holders. They offer meal plans and locker plans.

Honestly this was the worst waterpark we have ever been too. We got a cabana because we always do when we go to waterparks. Due to covid no slides open food was microwaved to order. So those 10 dollar hurricane fries were cooked yesterday microwaved today and given to me still cold on the bottom. I spent 400 at this park yesterday. And as a family we agree this park isnt worth the admission price and 150 for cabanas was ridiculous when theres nothing open but the kids pool lazy river and wave pool. Hence the no refunds ppl. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This place is Awesome. Go to VB every year and never skip going to the Park many slides. And lazy River is the best. Crowds arent that bad. Food and drinks are good. Highly recommend this Water Park.

Wonderful place for family fun, there is something for all ages to enjoy whetehwr youre enjoying the water park or just relaxing in the cabanas and enjoying the food service employees who bring your food and snack choices to your cabana. The cabanas aret equipped with a ceiling fan, comfortable seating and cabel tv and a menu to choose from.

Plenty to do even if you dont swim like I dont just wished the go kart and putt putt was included considering the high price.

Love this waterpark. It’s a little old but they are constantly working on adding new things to keep it interesting every summer. I wish they did some “parents night out” events so there aren’t kids some nights.

Ocean Breeze has really stepped up their game from my childhood! The rides, the lazy river, the wave pool, and the amenities are all improved. Tourist season, has little impact on the guests enjoyment. Water socks are recommended, unless you have feet adapt to walking on hot cement. The food is very basic, but decent. We prefer to bring from home and picnic.

Abundantly kid friendly and well organized with shaded areas for eating and relaxing, dedicated kids areas as well as more grown-up parts for the adventurous. They have plenty of daily rental lockers of various sizes for storing your things. The food is standard fare but decent though drinks (including water) are pretty expensive.Between the giant wave pool, several tube slides for ages 3+ and the kids splash area, we had a blast with our boys.

With Covid-19 all the water slides are closed... No mention until you arrive.

This waterpark is always a fun time! There are different options for every age group too! The bathrooms and cleanliness are subpar. Otherwise we love it!

Its worth buying for seasons passes. I say this because if you go twice youve already paid what you would have with regular priced tickets for those two days. Smart to buy the Ocean Breeze Popcorn bucket and drink containers because refill cost is $1. When your season passes expire so do the buckets and drink containers, sadly. So the first visit will cost you.Arrive early because Ive noticed throughout the day as 3pm-4pm, in the summer time, the water becomes more chlorinated and saltier due to the growing number of people entering to swim in Ocean breezes wave pool and other water-tubing rides. The wave pool shore line becomes very slick and slimy and you could possibly fall if youre not careful. I advise water shoes plus having those on going to the bathroom is a big help because its really slick in the bathroom area too. Enjoy!

Great place to have seasons passes if your local. We go multiple times a week. If you have kids and plan on going often get the dining plan for one. It pays for itself in no time. The attractions are nice and staff is attentive. Fun stuff!!!

Kids loved it. There were plenty of rides appropriate for my 6, 7 and 8 year old. Even my youngest who is cant swim yet. It was a busy Saturday so some help getting tubes for the rides would be appreciated. Friendly lifeguards.

There are like 4 rides open, really doesnt make much sense. Ohh and people just park where they want too, totally blocking off an entire entrance

Lots of fun. Very clean with friendly staff. We got rained out during our visit and were provided with new tickets to visit later in the week and a pro-rated refund on our Cabana. The Cabanas are a great convenience. Overall a wonderful experience.

I would say its a big park. And enough to keep you satisfied all day. However, you cant bring food inside. So, we brought a cooler and had a picnic in the parking lot with sandwiches. You can bring unopened water in the park, but thats it. So bring supplies. Im giving this just 3 stars because there was no indication the 2 tallest slides were closed and my best friend brought his family from TN for a vacation. When we arrived we paid for tickets and spent quite a bit for them. Regardless, there was no indication that those slides were closed that day. I asked them for reimbursement after discovering it ourselves to come back the next day when they would have the rides opened and the manager refused. I think this was poor customer service because it was for 6 people. And they all wanted to ride the slides which would be open the following day. I suggested the cashiers and ticket checkers should let customers know before they enter the park so they arent waiting their vouchers. Plus put a big sign up so people can see. We all work hard for our money if you pay for a full ride then you should get one. And if not at least know that you wont be getting what you paid for. :/

Super fun! My command funded us all a trip here and what a treat it was. The water park is large with awesome slides, tube rides, and a fantastic lazy river. My friends and I had a blast exploring the park and beating the heat. Lines were never too long and there is always the option of the breeze pass to skip the line. Concessions are pricey, but thats to be expected at an amusement/water park. All in all, had a great time at Ocean Breeze.

Great place for the entire family. We have gotten season passes 6 consecutive years and we enjoy our summers here every year.

We had a blast here! Went with kids (8 and 9) and they didn’t slow down the whole day. Slides were fun, there were lines, but not as bad as I expected given the number of busses in the parking lots - things moved quickly. Food was okay - we had pizza. I do wish there was more shade, but we really didn’t spend a lot of time lounging around... stayed on the slides or in the wave pool pretty much the whole time. Want to try the go carts next door next time!

Expansive water park close to beach, Virginia Aquarium and campgrounds. VERY child-friendly. Lots of slides, wave pool and Lazy River. FREE parking, FREE sunscreen and FREE tubes. Downside: smoker unfriendly. One smoking area in a remote corner of the park. You can only bring water bottles in; no food or other drinks. Insider tip: go to customer service and rent a U-shaped tube to ride the Lazy River. Season passes are reasonably priced; we get them every year.

Absolutely LOVED this place! Perfect weather for our family fun day! The water park was super clean and spacious. I could not say enough GREAT things about the staff - especially the Life Guards and ride workers. They talked & laughed with us all day, spun us around, and were all around kind and fun! Would 10 out of 10 recommend this waterpark for a fun day! Our family of 8 got a private large cabana - which was great! Food was as expected, nothing special, but hot and quick. We cannot wait to return next year!

If you live in Virginia Beach this is a great place to go on those long hot summer days. Your best bet is a season pass it pays for itself after just two visits. The food offerings are so so but thats all you get since you cant bring your own picnic lunch. Unless you absolutely have to stay out of the Sun I would suggest not getting a cabana they are way too expensive. They are just a money maker for the park.

We rented a cabana for my husbands birthday. Let me just say how disappointed I am. We paid for celebration package. We arrived at 10am with our cake and a birthday banner. Escorted to the cabana. We were told our service buttons don’t work. We tried using our neighbors service button but ALL the cabana service buttons were broken. They brought out balloons which flew away and were never replaced. Ceiling fan was broken. Couch cushions did not fit the seats and were getting a little moldy. The waitress did the best she could since all cabanas were filled. But I wonder why ocean breeze cant invest in keeping up their cabanas when they charge so much for them. We are season pass holders. Not sure we will get passes next year. Wave pool kept breaking down too and has been for the past 2 weeks. Very disappointed in ocean breeze.

Great family waterpark. Free parking. Entry fee can be expensive. Best to get a Seasons Pass if possible. Meal plans are a good idea as well. Food is pricey too. The only allow bottle water from home . Kids under 3 are free. Lots of staff and life guards. Free life jackets.

We went here on vacation years ago so when we visited VA Beach this time we went back! The kids love it here! So do the adults, we had just as much fun as they did!
