We really never thought we’d be here with this organization, but despite the negativity we heard rumors of behind the scenes for four years we put our best foot forward because we saw the happiness and growth of our child. And we thought “well, we can do our best to keep a positive attitude through difficultly and we can deal with what comes at us because we believe in common decency amongst people, especially professional worldwide organizations”. Sadly despite it all we became another story to add to this clubs record. Bottom line up front: this organization down right swindled a season of player tuition and fees ($600+) from most of it’s players this year after no services were rendered due to the epidemic shutdown, and has thus far done it to us as a military family who had to relocate halfway around the world despite being told they would honor the standard military clause that most businesses extend, knowing you don’t get to choose when and where you live in the service. THE WORST PART is how they have gone about doing it. They have literally insulted us(and as we saw most of the families who support them) with a refusal to even communicate with us. Six months ago Matt Middlestadt, DIr of Coaching, told us he would be refunding us. Weeks and months went by and no refund and no communication about why. My husband tried calling and emailing and to this day Matt still has never once engaged him. My husband even cc’ed Rush head office distro and literally the only response I received was : “I will check on it. -Matt”We spent days and months devoted to this community. We played year round and even served as their teams accountants and secretary to make sure coaches and players were taken care of so we could build a quality program with them and yet we haven’t been good enough to even be spoken to, written to, repaid, or respected. Take your business else where because Rush doesn’t care, it’s simply a business no a professional program.

Their communication skills are terrible.I tried for nearly 2 months to get in touch with them about when the kids would return to play with no luck. When I finally received a response I was told they had started 6 weeks prior! Because of this I requested a refund. I had to request this refund 3 times over 2 weeks before receiving it. Then they only refunded a partial payment after taking out a cancellation fee. This is unacceptable! I did not cancel! I have well documented proof that I was diligently trying to stay in touch and return to play, however Rush staff failed to communicate. We are incredibly disappointed in how this was handled.

Advanced level is poorly organized when compared to the other local leagues. The travel programs appear better. The advantage is their lighted practice fields at their Rave complex. Advanced coaches are hit or miss. As with any youth sports do your own research into the league and coaches.

What a great organization! The staff, Coaches, players and families welcomed my son with open arms .My son played with Yokohama FC and MWR teams in Japan .Rush has a spot for all and the children are treated with respect. If your new to the area and want a club that well treat your children the same as the child that been for years . Come here ! We have used their camps, and now on 2nd year with the team . Thank you Coach MartinezFor being a great mentor to my Son you have helped him adjust on and off the field .Jim and Natsuko Durrance

I have my second child with the Rush travel program. The oldest one is off to college and still plays soccer today. I have nothing but positive experiences with the club. As a parent you do have to be involved and if you are Rush will open a world of soccer opportunities for your. If you are a drop off/pick up type parent who only makes it to games and doesnt take advantage of all the training and other opportunities Rush offers, then your experience may not be positive.

This league relies too heavily on the parents to run everything. We were given an ultimatum by Corri via email that if one of us didnt coach, the kids might not be able to play. Then upon emailing her, she denied that she said what she said. My son was finally placed on a team after that. If the parent coaching your recreational team has to cancel, it is on them to find someone else to run the practice. If they cant find someone then they have to cancel. Its a toss up. We got lucky and have an amazing coach right now, but you could end up with a coach that doesnt know what theyre doing which has happened in past seasons. We might choose a league with a bit more structure and support for parents in the fall.

My daughter has played in SOE and as a first year travel player. Her skill level and confidence has improved tremendously. Her coaches have been amazing and we love the family oriented club.

This league is absolutely the most unorganized and unprofessional league my child had ever been a part of. My daughters been playing for 3 seasons now and they have been the same way all 3 seasons. I tried to give it a chance but apparently thats just how they run the league. Every season ive ran into a problem and the emails they send to parents always say to email or call with questions. No one at the office EVER picks up the phone and Corri Dillon (the director that always sends out the emails) NEVER responds. They are quick to take your money but drag their feet when it comes to placing teams together. Its now 4 days before the first game and my daughter was JUST assigned a coach today and still no word yet on practices. We signed up in august and it now mid september. Absolutely ridicoulous. I would NOT recommend this league for anyone. I will not be signing up with them again.

The travel teams in this organization needs improvement desperately. The travel fees are too much for full year and half a year. STAGNANT. There is NO ROOM for advancement in this club. Coaching quality depends on what team youre on.
