A view that simply puts you at ease, surrounded by water and green. Boats of all sizes tied up on the floating docks add to the site. It was wonderful place to have our private event and the service was impeccable.

Beautiful golf course and yacht club. Visited with my daughters swim team earlier this summer for a swim meet. The staff from the club provided the food for the occasion which was delicious. Great neighborhood as well.

Used to work here for 6 years, they treat their employees very badly. When I first started everything was great, it went down hill fast. If you are reading this and are a member make sure the staff is being treated well. Managers here are not very responsive or understanding to personal issues or health. Very sad and disappointed to have to give a bad review of a place I loved working at.

Course was in amazing shape. Short but challenging and fun.

Gorgeous facility and location. Friendly staff who were very accommodating of our toddler who had an egg allergy (went way out of their way to find him something to eat). Polite members. Speedy valet. No idea what the membership rates are, but if you can afford it I’m sure it’s worth it.

Golf course was outstanding. Pro met us in parking lot to say hi and welcome us to Cavalier. People were very friendly and helpful. Great experience.

If they are going to claim both the Golf and the yacht club name together, both of them should know whats going on. They need to have meetings between the two because I had an employee tell me that he works for the golf club and he didnt know what was going on in the yacht club and I think thats not appropriate for such an expensive venture. Its just something for you bigwigs to think about

I cant believe the changes! Possibly my favorite outdoor pool/facility Ive seen and thats compared to local, around the State (including Fairfax county) and the club at Aiken, South Carolina.

Excellent country club with a lot of amenities. They have a great food selection that changes constantly, as well as a gym area and boat slips for members. Staff is very well informed and able to help with anything Ive needed.

Not so much the place but the idiots that seem to thrive in that environment.People (apparently with a little monetary wherewithal) seem to think 25 miles per hour is the slowest one can travel. Ive never seen so many idiots with lead feet go in and out of a place. Ive seen a few pushing 50 mph...through the entrance of the Yacht Club...complete and utter nonsense.Ive seen them driving their little golf carts up and down the neighborhood streets seemingly unaffected by the FACT the streets are meant for LICENSED VEHICLES. You know, brake lights, headlights, turn signals....all the boring safety stuff one finds on a LICENSED VEHICLE.The cops only pull you over if you work there, not live there. Those that live there are exempt from the laws of the common street urchin.God knows, rubbing elbows with local officals has its perks.

Unfortunately didnt visit. Was working in area and was near course. Its beautiful and one if the nicest courses in va beach!! Wish i could play it!!

Basically, if you live in the area of Birdneck Point, not all, but a LOT of entitled people driving golf carts up and down PUBLIC roads. They tend to think that since they live in proximity of a golf course that they are so special they can ignore the laws of the road driving golf carts all over. Not merely crossing a road, but driving down public streets.I guess having a little scratch means the local laws are not applicable.

Nice neighborhood, relaxing waterside living. Golf course is always improving.
