I truly wanted to love this experience as this was my first time going to a dinner theater. However, this was a very bad experience. The ambiance was horrible. The place smelled like something crawled in there and died. The smell knocks you out when first entering the place. It was a combination smell of defecation, moth balls, mold, and things rotting. Also, the walls were dirty and stained. The ceiling had leaks and stains. The carpet looked dirty.Furthermore, the food was awful. I personally am not much of a cook, but I believe I could have created a tastier cuisine than what was served here. The food had no flavor; it was extremely bland. It was as if someone just threw something together (didnt give it much thought).Lastly, the theater portion was boring. The actors seemed amateurish. At the end, the main person presenting thanked the audience for bearing with them (the actors) as this was their first time presenting this particular story-line. Even so, I was still expecting a more professional/ exciting performance. I was highly disappointed.Needless to say, dont waste your money or time on this. It cost $40 per person (a total of 2 of us in my party). In my opinion, it was not worth it. My money and time would have been better spent going to Edinburgh Cinema Cafe (and I wouldnt have had to spend $80).
5+ FOR ENTERTAINMENT... excellent presentation and so much fun. The actors and actresses are believable and they engage the audience well. The food is average for the price of the tickets. I would suggest either offer higher quality food or lower the ticket price. Also, the salad and bread ran out before everyone was served. This needs to be planned out better. Overall it was good. Great job to everyone.
Awrsome show. Worth every penny.
Im giving 4 stars because the murder mystery was alot of fun, if youre open to do something different. However the food was not good. I wish they would do this at a different location
Very fun evening to celebrate my friends birthday!
Had tickets for last nights show. My wife and I couldnt believe that not only was the place closed last night, no one would answer the phone we kept calling to find out why. Thanks Get A Clue for ruining my wife and Is Anniversary Dinner date...
Pros - The actors were very engaging and a lot of fun. I believe the story was good, the improv was great and the food was good. No one in my party was even close to solving the mystery due to the cons listed below.Cons - Some of the seating is positioned with your back to the room. This makes it difficult to follow the story at times. The larger problem during the show was the distraction of a large group of individuals behind us celebrating a birthday. It was clear that they were not there to solve a mystery. They were laughing and talking very loudly which made my party miss important clues. Further, there was some sort of altercation within their party during the show so several of those individuals departed loudly through a side door; Then were in and out the remainder of the show. My boyfriend was concerned about our safety as none of the employees got involved. The detective tried, several times, to get the attention of the large party even saying you are missing clues over here, listen up but to no avail. They were very disruptive.I paid $144 for 3 people and missed a large portion of the show due to the rude behavior of other guests, hence the 3 stars.
This thing is so funny its amazing how the actors involved you in the show. And the food was awesome. Try it you wont me disappointed
The restaurant where the dinner theater is held is mediocre at best. The show itself is funny and the actors do a good job of involving the audience.
Show was Boring and Dragged on and on!Food was TERRIBLE chicken was underbaked, Roast Beef was very BloodyJust NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!A table of 4 PAYING $200.00 IS OUTRAGEOUS I WAS TOLD TIP WAS INCLUDED BUT ONCE YOU PAY YOUR BILL THEY ASK FOR 18 TO 20 PERCENT TIP!! PLUS IT WAS SO DAM COLD IN THERE NO HEAT!
Way too much money for what you get. Sub par acting, seemingly disorganized between the restaurant and the murder mystery actors. We walked out hungry and less than entertained. I can see this costing $30 for 2 people, but absolutely not the $80 we paid. We couldve had a nice dinner out instead. Disappointed.
We were looking forward to going to the show but because of sick babies we had to move things around last minute. Gary was very understanding and flexible. A++ for customer service!
Took my family to the show 2 weeks ago and had an absolute blast!! The actors were so fun and engaging, really drawing folks into the show, but never making anyone self conscience. Even tho I know the show was written there was a great deal of improv making it relavent to the crowd there. The food is good, not gourmet, but plentiful with something for everyone. One of our group is vegetarian and the restaurant was happy to accommodate with a veggie pasta primavera.Great venue for families - fun and funny family friendly. A great night out! Looking forward to coming back when the new show starts.
Great family experience
