I attended the APWA Expo at the Odeum. The venue is nice. Plenty of space and room for this big event. Would rate higher but the facility and grounds could use some upkeep and updating. I think they did a good job hosting and managing this unique event. Many trucks and snow plows. Wish the grounds were cleaner and some updates were done. Otherwise a nice place.

Such a great expo!!! So many amazing things. Fun to just walk around and enjoy the art. Was definitely strange and unusual, but anyone would find these booths amazing. Definitely looking forward to going again!!!

Nice medium size arena, great for live concerts, exhibitions and sports events. Friendly staff. Easy load in if you are doing a show. Have temporary stage platform, plenty of rigging points, forklift. No loading dock. Ice skating rink. Play ice hockey.

My wife and I went there as vendors for the Oddities Expo. The parking situation was very well managed and ample. Security and ticketing were neat and organized. All the staff, including maintenance were excellent. There was a light out over our booth that they took care of right away. However the facilities themselves are fairly ran down. The floor is uneven and cracked. In the restrooms half the faucets didnt work. It just felt dingy. Otherwise the AC worked well and the people were nice.

This place is a dump. Trashcans full of water in many places because of leaky roof, dirty gross bathrooms with falling ceiling and rotten tiles. Presentation rooms with missing tiles and water dripping during the classes. I would never recommend this or even be comfortable with my friends or family entering this building. Absolutely disgusting, I need a shower after being here for a few hours. The scary part, THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THE SIDE WE SEE!! Can you possibly imagine the food prep area? I wouldnt eat here if it was free.

This place is so dirty and nasty. Looks like the building was falling apart. They over price on food and drinks I mean come on $3 for a bottle of water and 3.75 for one really small taco... I will never go back to this place. Oh and you cant bring in your own food so you have to spoon money on their food which for a family of four youre spending over $100 for one taco,drink, a bag of chips and a snack to hold them over. The old male workers are extremely rude they have no respect for people.

An older building in need of many updates, especially the air conditioning. But functional for the purpose of hosting events.The facility was relatively clean and had plenty of parking. It was easily found and accessed, not too far from the highways, and close to hotels, shopping and restaurants.Load-in/out as a vendor was acceptable, plenty of doors that led to the surrounding parking lot.

Chicago oddities and curiosity show was very good, lots of unique vendors.

Wasnt told about parking charge. Told we could bring water bottles but no water in them. Hot in July but they had lots of fans. Food was great for arena food. Not terrible but a few touch ups and itd be great.

We drop ups empties here in the parking lot. Never been inside.

Peaceful to park but when i woke up there was a concert going on and place was packed with cars

A bit dirty but its what youd expect from a convention center turned soccer fields during the winter. Typical easy junk food at the concession stand.

A large center located in Villa Park for various events that is located near a network of expressways. There is plenty of space for craft booths, sports events, a small section that has a limited food service & a large parking lot.

Kinda old and dated. Layout is odd with 2 sides and an upstairs for exhibits. I only go when there is something real interesting there.

Awful. Price gouging, especially on necessities like a bottle of water is disgusting and such an unethical business practice. At least allow people to bring their own bottles. Don’t just confíscate them then overcharge them for such a thing. If you’re going to charge people such high prices, at least update those disgusting linoleum bathroom floors and outdated, grimy arena interior.

There was no air conditioning. It was incredibly warm . With such a large expo and only fans in excessive heat, not a fan. Enjoyed the oddities and curiosities expo though.

Such amazing people to work with! Our church (Iglesia ni cristo) had an amazing experience with them and our event (the 104th anniversary and 50 years in the west Celebration) was a great success thanks to Gods help and guidance and the help of everyone at the Odeum Expo Center!

Went to the Oddities expo here. This was my 2nd time going. I doubt Ill attend again. Last year they had some true oddities but this year was mostly dead animals and pelts. I dont have a problem with the dead creatures in jars and frames but it was overkill this year with all skins of fox, wolf and other animals. There were a few good booth and artists. Also the air conditioning in this place is non existent at best and the building itself is in need of an upgrade badly.

Very good competition out here for youth indoor soccer. The field is old and creates burns when the kids fall or slide. Nothing like the latest turf w/ rubber most places use now. But its all about the competition and other top clubs come here to play, so whatever.

In the middle of nowhere. Terribly laid out. Not well ventilated. Parking cost was atrocious, clearly jacked up because your only option is their lot. Seriously, you need to be more clear about parking costs. Also kept getting yelled at for not buying tickets and going through the metal detectors in the right order, but they were alongside each other and there were no signs. Terribly organized venue.

Pretty run down. Theyve got some nerve charging $20 for parking at a place of this quality.

Went here to attend the Rubix cube competition. Ventilation was not that good...otherwise a decent place.

Cheap, but hard to get parking for truckers. Surveillance minimal, but no major issues. Lots of “clearing the lot”conventions going on during the year. Overall good place to park if you can get in.

We come to theOdeum Expo Center twice a year for the craft show in the spring and fall. It is a great place to get ideas and we generally buy a few things also. My wife loves the Jewelry and I get a lot ideas for do it yourself crafts. We also buy candles from raw candies of Wisconsin they are excellent candles and burn for a very long time.

I go there every year. They have the nicest craft show. Wear good walking shoes.

They need to update the place. Has been the same for 30 years now.

Ive been going to this place since I was a child for craft fairs and various events. Im extremely excited to volunteer for them in the near future as they contribute greatly to DuPage County. Kudos, keep up your awesome work!

Ive been to the Odeum twice now, once for a concert and also for the video game expo. The location is great and there is a ton of parking. The building itself is very old and is in dire need of some updating.

This hall has draconian bag checks and disallow even water bottles to be brought inside. Instead, enjoy some of the worst concession food imaginable at extortionate prices.

This place was so cool it was huge it had two floors of crafts stuff Ive never seen before reasonable prices second floor had live entertainment and lots of different cute fun foods to choose from spent an entire day there with my sisters you wont regret going there everyone was so nice lots of fun definitely do it again!!

Great staff, great parking and great event space. The prices went up with credit card payments vs what I was told but still liked the event.

Id rate 0 if I could. Was there for a speed cube solving convention for my kid. Multiple multiple people walking in to the building with outside food and drink as this was primarily a private event.I was singled out and harassed for bringing in food. 5 tables right behind my area had Jimmy Johns, etc but they decided to confront, harass and embarrass me.When 1 person is singled out and noone else is being subjected to that, its called harassment.

Soccer here on Wednesdays at 5pm

One of the worst venues you could end up at. Parking is always a minimum of $10, BESIDES the price of the event. No way yo park on the street. Facility is not kept up. Barely any AC running. Locker rooms are tiny. Seating is first come first serve and poorly positioned. Dread every time I have to go to this place.

Poor HVAC. Very hot inside. Building is run down. Needs a makeover desperately
