Westwood Country Club

As a wedding photographer, I love working with classic venues like Westwood Country Club. The ballroom is beautiful, especially for a lunch reception - full of light with gorgeous decor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and treated the rest of us vendors well which says a lot about providing good service! The grounds were beautiful and we had plenty of great locations for portraits. The food looked delicious and everyone at the wedding seemed to have a great time. It was a perfect wedding reception and I hope I get to work with Westwood Country Club again!

Was able to get 48 laps in the outdoor pool in this morning!

I’ve never had anything but enjoyable experiences every time I’ve been to Westwood Country Club. I’m not a member, but I’ve visited as a guest at golfing events, tennis events, pool outings and fundraising events in the main hall. All four components have not disappointed. The restaurant, back bar, pool snack bar and golf course clubhouse all serve delicious food that is managed by great staff. They have a few rules of etiquette that are to be expected at any country club, but if you’re unfamiliar with any of them, the employees are courteous and polite about helping you navigate your way as you experience all this place has to offer. If you have a chance to go as a guest, or better yet, to join, don’t hesitate.

Had a nice meal in the conference center. Service is always excellent, nice facility, great view of the golf course.

Gorgeous course and facilities, great food

The course is in great condition. It is a very good test. No blind shots. Creeks and ponds in play on several holes. Practice facilities are very good. Private club, played as a guest. The head pro, Matt, was very welcoming as was the rest of the staff.

Beautiful club and great staff. New director of food and beverage has done a great job. Currently doing major upgrades.

Beautiful banquet venue, great service and very good food.

Attended a political function. Food is what you would expect considering the brunch had 400 people. The entire staff couldnt have been more professional or nicer.

Excellent tennis courts and wonderful food

They have a great course and you need to add this to the list of golf courses of the DMW.

Delicious food and friendly service

Its hard to review private clubs. There are so many different kinds catering to different demographics. This club is well appointed and well run. Play golf in the winter, and there is water and heated bathrooms. Steam room in the well stocked locker room, and the food is very good. Not super fancy but definitely a nice experience.

Great event the Latin Maya Awards at Westwood Country Club!

The club and course are in excellent condition in the early summer heat. Greens are firm and fast. They have been doing a number of upgrades to the course, tennis and pool areas and the clubhouse over the last few years. Their pub downstairs is very popular, so dont show up at 7 on a SAT night and expect to get a seat. Friendly, helpful golf staff.

Really slow service but really nice outside and inside

Pinkys out lads. Chip chop cheerio. The hand washing napkins are worth $5 a piece and tossed away. Like a bad stock tip with low yield.

I cant say this is an everymans (/womans) club because obviously there is a cost associated with membership. But as far as private country clubs go, this is a group of super friendly, family-oriented, respectful and unpretentious people.I think that is why so many other reviews are keen to point out the friendliness and warmth of the staff. Generally speaking they are well taken care of and treated with the same respect that members and their families show for one another.Paul, Mike, the pro staff and ALL the management are really class act people with a genuine pride in their work.

Good tennis with good friends

We had our company Christmas party here. It was a great venue. The bar/reception area was large and delicious Hors dœuvres. They served an excellent buffet dinner. It was a very nice experience all around.

A very nice wedding venue. The food served was pretty good, everyone at the table loved their steaks. Service was warm and welcoming. Lots and lots or parking, and a bit hard to find while following a gps.

I was there for a wedding and it was beautiful. It was open to members, but I guess that is part of the deal. No place for groomsmen to change and just hang. Bartender used scotch for whiskey and coke.

They recently got a new chef and updated their menu. Its very good now and they sometimes do buffet specials which are also good and a good deal.
