Very cool very small museum. Nice friendly staff and very clean. Lots of parking we parked the rv around back had plenty of room. Even gave my 6 year old a coloring book and some crayons on the way out.
Nice little local museum good for the kids small but it’s free so who wouldn’t want to stop In
While this is a very small museum, it was incredibly interesting!!! The exhibits are informative and eye catching. Even a little area for kids. Next to the museum is a travel office filled with pamphlets of other local attractions. We had to stop at a farmers market on the way home to pick up a bag of onions on the way home!
WOW! What a great time on this self guided tour of the complicated Vadalia Onion. The museum allows a free tour to see the history of the Largest cash export of the State of Georgia. Yes while the state is known for peaches and pecans the Real revenue is from the name protected onion. Stand back Champaign from France, and Tequila from Jalasco, Mexico. Vadalia onions are only available from Georgia USA! The town is great. The museum is a great place to learn about the official state vegetable!
Very cute little museum! Who knew you could do so much with onions lol. This was an enpromptu stop for us Thursday morning on our way back to Dublin. The people were very friendly and welcoming. If you havent been and are in the area swing by and check it out. Oh...Theres cute little books in the gift shop that point out some other great adventures to be had in Georgia. My two looked at the three we got all the way home telling me all about Yumions adventures and where all they wanted to go. ️️️️
Definitely a must if your passing thru!
Very interesting
Nice little museum and welcome center.
Super neat experience, I would recommend to fans of roadside attractions.
This was more of a chamber of commerce exhibit but still some interesting displays and some history in a compact area and there is a play room for children, the museum is in the vidalia Visitor Center it was free but there is a jar for donations
Very nice little museum. If you are interested in growing/agriculture, youll enjoy this place that explains all about how the Vidalia onions came to be. Its small. Depending on your level of interest it could take 15 minutes up to 30-40 minutes. Well worth the visit. Nice staff, too.
This is a must see if you are in Toombs County. You will learn the important history behind the Sweet Vidalia Onion. I took every visitor I had from out-of-town, then we would go to Meadows Hospital and visit the Starbucks kiosk!
Small and I formative. It was well maintained. It was self guided, and the staff was willing to answer questions
Very informative and interesting. Its small, but worth the stop.
Interesting, short and sweet.
Small but interesting!
Interesting, I loved playing with kids onion sorter.
Very informative museum about the Vidalia onions. It explains the history and what makes the Vidalia onion so much sweeter than a regular onion. The museum is free and takes less than an hour to walk through.
