Knowledgeable staff, good selection, and the service for club repair is fast. The next best thing to trialing new clubs on the range.

I was down in Florida and lost a club that I had bought from the Vernon Hills store, a Taylormade wood. I came in and decided to upgrade to the SIMS for 2 of my 4 woods and was not happy, regular shaft, mine were stiffer and came back to the store. Nick the Mgr was super helpful and professional. He took a lot of time figuring out what he could do for me and was able to come up with a store return dollar for dollar, actually the SIMS were a bit more and I received a $100 credit back that I used in the for things I needed. I now have all 4 Taylormade M6 woods that all match and I love them! These folks truly have your best interest at heart and will work with you until you are happy! I will use this store for all of my golf needs!

I recently bought golf clubs from here and I had a great experience. The sales associate was very knowledgeable in helping me pick the right clubs for my budget and my playing style. I plan to come back here whenever I need anything for golf.

I was that annoying minor that would want to play with the simulators.They didnt punch me. They were really good about it.If you need equipment. Its here. Regulation size golf holes complete with pins, custom clubs, putters with a far above average test green, and in general this place could probably charge a cover and turn it into a theme park. Its that much fun being there.

I recently had the experience visiting the Vernon Hills store, I was considering the purchase of a new set of irons, and for the first time ever in my golf shopping experience I met someone who had the patience, took the time, and actually seemed to care about my product experience combined with hands on testing and information I received. JIM at the Vernon Hills store was absolutely fantastic. He went beyond my expectations!....He was patient with me, very helpful, and no question was treated in a condescending or dismissive manner. He was not trying to push any sale and he let me take all the time I needed to try out several products. He made sure that I was certain about my club selections before letting me make a purchase. The person to person interaction and individual attention given to me while shopping with his assistance should be used as an ideal employee model in sports specialty etc stores....he is a great asset to the Vernon Hills location! Guy at register. customer service rock star.guy in rear of store. gray golf pants. black golf shirt. 100% totally focused on phone conversation for roughly 15 minutes. finishes his call. starts practicing his swing. then takes a walk around perimiter of store. casually says to one guy. finding everything okay...? keeps walking.another guy. in a store shirt. red/grey color. looks at me like im from another planet. keeps walking. goes out to have his cigarette in front of the store. im walking out after paying for my items. he then thumps his nasty cigarette out into the street. barely missing me.no big deal. but wont be visiting this retail store again. golfsmith. here i come.

Don’t go in and see the grumpy old guy, ( I think his name is Mark) he asked me if I wanted to rent out the screen for 20 bucks an hour, as I was trying out their clubs to see about a new set of irons and there was no one Waiting to hit...... wish Golfsmith was still around.
