Magenta, just say the name and it makes brings a smile to my face. I have been involved with this theater as a participant, patron, and a volunteer. This organization is dynamic, creative, all-inclusive, and supportive. The spirit of Magenta is love. I cannot wait to step back in as soon as we are allowed. They will return and I hope stronger than ever.

Love the Magenta! I have always been a fan of Local Theater Arts, and have enjoyed it in several cities and countries. The Magenta has become my favorite. Never have I been disappointed in one of their productions. I have laughed with these folks, and teared up with these folks. While I dont know many of the actors/staff/volunteers personally, I do feel a camaraderie between those on the the stage and those in the seats. Thank you for being there!

It was our first time there. We had a really great time. I could tell the cast loved what they were doing. I will definitely be going again. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is the play was 2 1/2 hours, and the seats werent that comfortable for me personally because I have back problems. Otherwise Bravo!!

Great theater. Plays are professional level. Seats are fine but dont lift up so it is difficult for people in the middle of the row to get to their seats. But that doesnt take away from the enjoyment of the play. Have a good assortment of productions.

Great little theater! All the seating is great and actually towards the back is kind of nice as you are looking down on the whole production. Really not a bad seat in the house. There are some concessions with beer and wine. Everyone is very welcoming and its volunteer ran. Great acting with a community theater. Thoroughly enjoyed the play Moon Over a Brewery. Looking forward to going back and supporting our local thespians!

This little theater company puts on some fantastic plays, they have concerts, black chair projects,, acting lessons, and much more. The intimate venue puts the audience very close to the action. Not a bad seat in the house. They also sell beer, wine, and snacks. It is a wonderful gem, in downtown Vancouver.

We love coming here for the plays or the improv team; we have never been disappointed! The improv is always family-friendly and hilarious; kids of all ages would love the antics of the players.Everyone is a volunteer, but many of the players are veterans who have been doing live theater for years. The theater is modest but comfortable, and everyone is friendly and loves being involved in the production. Well worth your time and one of the best entertainment values in Vancouver. Dont miss it!

First let me say that the quality of the actors was great for a small community theatre. Some very good direction as well. Told the story effectively fresh even though it was familiar. Set design was minimal and perhaps a bit ragtag at times. Our first encounter with the company was slightly less than desirable. Having read the start the wrong we showed up at 6:50. We jiggled the door handle and were met immediately by a very abrupt gentleman who popped the door open and seemed quite miffed we had jiggled the door handle. Oops. Theatre was set up well and there is not a bad seat in the house. All in all a good experience. I would recommend going.

Tonight we enjoyed the opening performance of Rose Colored Glasses... Another wonderful success by the Magenta Theater! ~ Rose Colored Glasses is the story of two immigrant widows in pre-WWII Chicago, Rose Fleishman (played by KC Cooper) who runs a Jewish Deli and Lady ORiley (played by Michele Glover) who runs Lady ORileys Irish Pub. There is more than an alley separating their two kitchens... But with the help of Mrs. ORileys granddaughter, Peg ORiley (played by Lauren Scher), who also acts as a narrator, the three women guide the audience through a deeply touching and yet often humorous story. The Magenta Theater is a small intimate theater where the audience is close to the action. They do a wonderful job, we have been to several of their plays and have never been disappointed!
