Due to covid it can be quiet, but that makes for a fun and safe night!

I went to Vancouver 2 weeks ago to help my daughter pack to move into their new home. I wanted to go sing a little Karaoke and relax. So, I checked the reviews on bars and decided to give Donnells Karaoke bar a try. I have had millions of burgers and tater tots in my lifetime, but this was the most mouthwatering cheeseburger and tater tots I have ever eaten. The ranch dressing that was served with my tots had the taste of homemade not that gaggy slimy stuff you usually get from restaurants. Who would ever think you could get awesome food in a bar. The Karaoke guy Mike was awesome. Because I was from out of town he asked permission from the regulars to let me sing first. The atmosphere was wonderful and well-lit, and the regulars were friendly and very outgoing. I fell in love with the bartenders and the owner. The owner Tro came over and sat down and started talking to me, which I thought was awesome in itself. Then he kept checking back to make sure I was being well taken care of. He was a very good looking man and single, if only I had been 29 years younger. Now, that to me is over the top great service. It was the Bartender Shawns birthday that night and the owner called her up on stage and surprised her with a big beautiful birthday cake. When I go back to Vancouver to visit my daughter I know where I will be singing Karaoke and getting my hamburgers from now on. I still think of that cheeseburger. If I thought I could order the cheeseburger and tots thru Doordash or Grubhub and have it delivered to Coeur d Alene I would do it in a heartbeat. Thank you everyone for an awesome night

It took 58 minutes to get a burger and there was hardly any fries that we had to pay $2 extra for I couldnt believe it the lady was nice but there was only one person working so I dont feel the price and how fast I got it out of the kitchen was worth it

Had a rocking good time at Donnells Bar. The folk there were warm, welcoming, but most all, passionate about what they do. The celebrated chef, the benevolent bartender, the karaoke maestro, all had a sparkle in their eyes. 20/10 would defy my expectations again.

Ordered on doordash, and they made it so fast, and its freaking delicious. You have to try the mushroom burger! The mac n cheese bites are good too!

Tonight I ordered from here for the second time through Uber eats. The first time ordering burgers for me and my boyfriend was alright. Decent food nothing to rave or complain about just pretty middle of the road. Tonight we ordered again and decided to get something different only problem is their menu on Uber as well as their menu online does not state what is actually on most of the dishes so after ordering a hot ham and cheese sandwich I expected two pieces of bread with ham and cheese grilled. What I got was a mayo (more mayonnaise than should ever be consumed in one serving) sandwich with some ham and cheese on it. I despise mayonnaise and wouldve ordered something else had I known what was actually on the dish. Definitely in need of someone who can write a menu properly so there is no confusion. But until then 2 stars it is.

The guy I communicated with was very rude and wouldnt check good order screen to see if my order went through. Burger is disgusting and our chicken strips and fries were not existent as well.

I ordered chicken strips and fries. The chicken was pink raw. And the fries were a soggy mess.

Awful experience. Bartenders were cold and inhospitable, drinks were overpriced gross,and refused water when requested. A very cold profit-minded establishment that treats clientele like disposable expendable cattle. I would avoid this venue, if at all possible. You won’t be missing out on anything

Favorite karaoke bar

Just started going there recently and I have a great time every time I go. Not too crowded, but still lively and fun. The drinks are great and fairly priced, the staff is friendly, and karaoke night is always a blast. Most places Im way too nervous to sing karaoke by myself, but with help from a little liquid courage, Ive sang solo there several times now.

Ruby is amazing!! She makes the best Black Opal Around!!! I go often just to have one made by her!!! Shes Phenomenal!!!

My bartender ruby was absolutely amazing, some of the best drinks I’ve ever had, she was so attentive and charismatic I will definitely come back regularly!

Was just starting to like this place for weekend beer and karaoke. However, I cant do hostile environments, or environments where violence and physical assault are condoned and enabled. I went to sit down at a stool I assure you was unoccupied and had nobodys things or drinks around it. Nevertheless, as I was sitting, a large man shoved me away, saying, No! No! No! No! I turned to each of three bar staff who had witnessed the event, and said, I thought this was a public establishment. You know? You have a bouncer on staff for just such an occasion! He looked bored! Sometimes, in the grand scheme of things, its more worth creating a safe and friendly atmosphere than making revenue from out of control, incoherent alcoholics and homeless perverted lunatics. Karaoke host was super friendly, btw. What a shame. Ladies with self worth and alpha males, join me at the Spot, I suppose, for the time being, unless you can recommend another place. You know I love to sing and drink!

Wouldnt serve us because of an Arizona ID bartender thought was fake. Im almost 30.

Heard it was good. Walked in and met tovie(short blond gal On Mon Dec 10th 2018) wretched individual. May go back later when shes not there. Gross

Difference between here and other bars is the staff. Come in more than once and theyll recognize you. Karaoke every day but Thursday, which they do Open Mic Night instead. The drinks are never too light and theres good staples of comfort food you can order. It wont be long until youre a regular at this bar, just wish theyd change be name.

Great location and a very fun place to get drinks and sing karaoke. Drinks are not expensive and the atmosphere is very casual without being a dive. Food options are good for comfort food but service may take a little while. Ive had lots of fun at Donnells and will be going back soon!

First off, location location location. Seriously?-The interior smells like sweat, puke, piss, and alcohol. If thats your thing, then by all means.-The bartenders have next to no room to do their job and are seriously understaffed.-The bouncers at the door are a joke to put it nicely. Are you willing to sing and drink? Cool! You can come on in and we dont need to see your ID.-Remember those poor bartenders? Maybe if theyd take their jobs seriously, they wouldnt be getting a nasty review. Generally speaking, the limit of Long Island Iced Teas per person is 2. Not Ill keep serving you as long as you dont puke in my bar. Can we say health concern, because we all know that once youve had a few, its VERY easy to have a few more..-Serving alcohol right up until closing and allowing patrons to finish their drinks after hours. Hmmm.... Something here smells fishy.~But~It cant be ALL bad right? Theyve got a nice karaoke setup. Its a really supportive crowd so long as their not drunk. Some of the folks getting up on stage were great! Some of em just gave it their best shot, and you cant really say anything against that.--But seriously. Donnells Bar is a great place to go if you want to push the limits of alcohol intoxication, belt out a few good tunes, get hit on by your own gender (not judging, just not my thing), while being underage because the bouncers and bartenders neither check ID nor care.--

Good drinks, good prices, friendly staff, though I had to duck out right as the karaoke started because I was a bit ahead of the night.
