Customer service is excellent. The guy that runs the place is very professional and kind. The prices are very reasonable especially once you see the finished product. You usually wont get same day pickup and I assume it is due to the fact that he takes the time to do things right,and very nicely. Also there is more than just my artwork that needs to be done. So I do not mind waiting a couple days. I have had him frame 2 pieces for me so far and I am very pleased with the outcomes. I will be returning to Beards Framing next time for sure

I brought a large painting in needing hangers and wire to orient the painting from vertical to horizontal. The man made the changes for me on the spot and charged me nothing. It was a complicated molding that required unconventional hardware. He trimmed the backing cardboard and provided the hardware and wire. Could not have been more pleasant.

We went in there to get a piece framed for our wedding for the guest sign in and from the start they were very accommodating and really listen to all of our needs. You cannot take hand work such as embroidery to just any framing business and expect to be pleased with the result. You need a framer who understands how to stretch fabric while keeping the threads perpendicular to the matting and/or frame. I recommend Hazel Dell Beard’s Framing to anyone whose project requires meticulous attention to detail because that is what they will give you.

Sadly, this review is a recommendation that given the choice, definitely have your framing done somewhere other than at the Beard’s store in Hazel Dell, Vancouver, Washington. It is inconvenient to get to in the first place, and the manager seems to be much more interested in “the bottom line” than in the people who come into the store.Having a painting, family heirloom, or anything else framed can be a very big deal. There can be so much sentiment, value, and irreplaceable precious memorabilia involved, it seems clear to me that professional framing ought to be done by somebody who truly cares about the people for whom the framing is being done.When all is said and done, it is about Love. Without Love, there is no point in having the framing done in the first place. With the prices Beard’s charges, I shouldn’t have to deal with pettiness and an unpleasant attitude in the store’s manager.Personally, I do not choose to have my framing done at Beard’s in Hazel Dell, nor do I recommend this store to anybody else.
