Im not from Van Buren, but came here to eat at a nearby restaurant. We then decided to watch a movie here. Movie quality and sound were good. The entry area smelled bad. Pig farm nearby maybe? The concessions were okay. Stale popcorn on a Saturday night? It wasnt even a late showing. I used to work at a theater and they would bag up and trash popcorn every couple of hours to make fresh batches. The price of everything was also a little high when the quality of the theater is somewhere between the AMC and Malco in Fort Smith.

Love this theater! This theater is rarely packed to capacity like the theaters in Fort Smith. The seats are very comfortable. The popcorn line is short too!

I love this theatre. It’s so nice to have a theatre here in Van Buren. Malcom doesn’t offer many discounts but they do have some affordable options. Popcorn is always fresh. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

Good Basic Theater. NOTHING wrong with it but It would be Great if Malco Added on each side and make The Recliner type Seating in the newer for Bigger Better Experience. LIKE BIGGER SCREENS AND SEATING FOR 2 ROOMS . For Blockbusters like Avengers ETC!!

I really like the Malco in Van Buren! I do wish they showed more faith based & pg rated movies as this is all I will watch!

Helpful, kind employees. Clean areas when you enter. Exiting is a different story (people throw popcorn everywhere!). Screen is easy to see from anywhere in the room. Not too loud, not too quiet. Clean bathrooms.

The seating area smelled like old wet hay and the movie had quality issues until I asked management about it. They fixed it half way thru the movie, but I still feel like that should be checked more often. Will most likely go to Fort Smith from now on.

Honestly, the screens are so dim that you can hardly see anything in night scenes. Theater 4 smelled like a zoo. No Fandango kiosks. Maybe this location just doesn’t get enough attention from Malco. This review is in no way a reflection of the staff, just the quality of the theater overall.

Comfortable seats, friendly staff and great location.

They really got people thru the lines for snacks faster than I expected. No phones went off during the movie. And they even have booster seats for little kids!

Great theater, HVAC wasnt working during Shazam, so we were a little uncomfortable

I love the movies and I go like every tow weeks and tonight I watched peter rabbit it was the best movie ever. And it was all because of that movie theatre they put a good movie on every tow weeks.

Ticket counter needs clear signage. Decent priced combos. Bigger theaters best, smaller screens arent as in focus or as bright. Clean bathrooms and all theaters have great sound.

We usually have had great experiences at this theater. Its usually not busy at all, especially on a Sunday night like tonight when I tried to take my girls to a movie. I have a 4 week old newborn who does nothing to sleep but the theater turned our business away because it was after 6 PM. Apparently it doesnt matter how busy or slow it is you are not allowed to take a newborn in after 6 PM. Ridiculous.
