5 stars until the splash pad turned off for unknown reason. Posted sign listed 10-7pm as hours, we arrived about 1130, we were able to enjoy ourselveshad about 20 minutes when the water went out. Waited 10 minutes and unfortunately had to leave to find another outdoor water activity...Lake front here we come!

Simple but fun! Located in beautiful downtown Valpo near shopping and food, so you can make an afternoon of it but it is closed at times for special events (check the schedule online before you go). We appreciate the area of the splash pad with small fountains for babies to splash around!

We love going to the splash pad. I wish there was more shades areas, but bring an umbrella and you should be ok. Pack a lunch or grab something local. Great family fun days!

Fun place for the children to cool off! Its hard water though so it dries out skin.

I love the splash pad, its great place to take kids, that costs nothing! One thing I dont like is that Valpo parks dept. rents out this park or has events that cause the splash pad to be closed. And you dont always know when its going to be closed.

Family friendly, lots of kids -- babies to juniors. Benches all around, not much shade. Food vendors in summer. Grass around pad is nice.
