The owners are friendly.they have about a dozen brands of bottle rockets including black cat $3 per 144.its my favorite fireworks store in the area.

Excellent customer service and nearly unbeatable prices! The new owner slashed prices by over 90% on some items; the old price tags are still on the products, but the new prices are anywhere from 50-95% lower! Excellent selection on firecrackers, smokes, bottle rockets, mortars, and cakes/repeaters despite the relatively small building. These guys even price match! This is the third best fireworks store I’ve been to between Lake and Porter county, closely following second place.

The place is well kept, patriotic decor isnt over-done outside, real down to earth local people and family orientated. Will help you find things to meet your budget. I was going to the red barn off of us hwy 20 in Porter, but I moved. Kabooms prices reflect large sticker store prices...so DONT wait till AFTER the 4th an buy for next year, get your selections right now!! Cant see how the prices can go much lower...oh especially how Indiana fluffed up a fireworks tax a few years back...of 12%!!...kaboom saw an opportunity to stand with the community and not try to make fast money. Thank you for being you Kaboom, I wouldnt have it any other way. You guys are awesome and I cant wait to make the neighbors jealous lol thank you, again.

I walked in and this place looks better than it has in YEARS! Prices are way down from what they were before! I spoke with the cute girl with the glasses who worked there and she said they were under new ownership. I will DEFINITELY be back!

This place is a complete RIP OFF!!! They had a price tag of $490 on a package of fireworks that I found on Lincolnway for $150. When I discovered that I had been ripped off, I attempted to return the fireworks, and they refused to take it back. The woman who I am assuming to be the owner, ran around the store like a maniac explaining to other customers how I did not wear the pants in my family, and that my wife would not allow me to buy the fireworks. Then, she proceeded to call the police on me, because I was taking pictures of the wall which displayed no signs saying that all sales are final, or stating that there were no returns. Terrible customer service! Completely unprofessional! Even worse, they are ripping people off! Go to the fireworks store on Lincolnway, and save a few hundred dollars.
