I love the annual Holiday Bazaar that they host for fair trade goods on a few Fridays and Saturdays leading up to Christmas! Did many cute things to choose from!

The 4th Friday speaker series has been very enjoyable. They always have a foreign-born (English 2nd language) Valpo resident talk/present about their home country and answer questions. Foreign treats are also served. If it sounds interesting to you, get on their email list from their website. Another very nice organization for Valpo to have as a resource.My pics are from a talk on Russia, complete with a bare-chested Putin doll, and later from a Chinese Tea House event, complete with an Erhu performance.

Volunteer run organization providing a great platform for connecting people from different parts of the world. Also helping newcomers from different cultures find their way in our community, in part, through Fourth Friday presantations and Spanish Table getogethers. World Cultural Fest held at Central Park in September is a not to be missed celebration of diversity . The organization sells wonderful Fair Trade gifts at the festival and at pop up Holiday Bazaars.

Great place for cultural exchange. Promotes fair trade sales and supports intercultural communications.
